Das 'Blue Wave' Haus ist ein einzigartiges Resort direkt am Meer in Kolea. Dieses wunderschöne 4-Schlafzimmer-Haus wurde speziell für den Traum eines Paradieses am Meer gebaut. Das Haus liegt nur wenige Meter von den Gezeitenpools der geschützten Bucht von Anaeho'omalu entfernt, in der Sie schnorcheln, Kajak fahren oder direkt vor Ihrer Hintertür stehen können. Der Eingangsweg ist mit Koiteichen und Blick auf das Meer durch die Glaswände gesäumt. Im Inneren genießen die Gäste inspirierende Möbel und moderne Kunstwerke, die diesem Haus Stil und Charakter verleihen. Vollständig versenkbare Taschentüren öffnen den Hauptwohnbereich zum Pool und zum Meer für nahtloses Innen- und Außenleben. Die Küche verfügt über Granitarbeitsplatten, einen Kocher, Wolfsgeräte und einen nahe gelegenen Grill.

Die Gäste werden die besonderen Themen jedes Schlafzimmers lieben. Die Grand Master Suite blickt auf das Meer und verfügt über einen eigenen Whirlpool im Innenbereich. Es verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett und ein großes privates Büro am Meer, damit Sie während Ihrer Abwesenheit die Arbeit erledigen können. Die Grand Master Suite ist in beruhigendem Meeresblau gehalten und mit einem schönen Kronleuchter aus mundgeblasenem Glas für eine verträumte Stimmungsbeleuchtung ausgestattet. Das riesige Hauptbadezimmer verfügt über eine große Steinbadewanne, eine separate 2-Personen-Dusche, eine Außendusche, zwei Waschtische und einen begehbaren Kleiderschrank.

Der zweite Meister heißt "Island Room" und ist in tropischen Hölzern und Bambusausführungen gebaut. Es verfügt über ein Kingsize-Himmelbett, einen Flachbild-TV und ein eigenes Bad. Das 3. Schlafzimmer oder das "Modern Room" verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett, einen Flachbild-TV und ein eigenes Bad. Das vierte Schlafzimmer ist das "Nippon Room" im japanischen Stil. Es verfügt außerdem über ein Queensize-Bett und ein eigenes Bad. Es gibt Fernseher in allen Schlafzimmern außer dem Nippon-Raum, und jedes Zimmer hat Zugang zum Außenbereich. Zu den weiteren Bonusmerkmalen dieses einzigartigen Anwesens zählen ein Heimkino für 12 Personen, ein Meditationsraum mit einer umfangreichen Bibliothek mit Büchern und ein halbgerichteter Basketballplatz vor dem Haus.

Spectacular View

Amazing house with a spectacular view which deserve 5 stars alone. House does have a few issues like the propane gas. Three engineers all agree it’s likely the main regulator at the tank which cause the oven, grill, and Tiki torches to all starve for gas. The water pressure is disappointing and needs a booster pump and limiting the AC to 72 works fine during the day but causes it to get uncomfortably humid at night. Otherwise beautiful property and well equipped property.

Enjoyed our stay

My family had a very nice time here. The house is as advertised. Looked great inside. The backyard pool was used often. The location was great with gorgeous views of the ocean and sunset. The kitchen was well stocked. There were plenty of towels. The gas grill in the backyard was not very hot. It maxed out at 250 degrees F. Overall, we would come back here again!

Great location. Well appointed.

This is a beautiful and convenient location with easy access to beaches and hiking tails and walking distance to shops and restaurants. It is an interesting and uniquely designed home. The floor plan accommodates couples with four private bedroom suites. The home is a bit dated with a few minor hiccups you might expect from an older home. So minor we worked around them rather than call management. Management was kind and responsive when our flight was cancelled causing us to miss the first night and were flexible with us at check out. The process was smooth and just what they described. We would go back and recommend to friends.

Hawaii paradise

We had a wonderful stay at the Blue Wave in the Kolea resort area on the Big Island. The home is wonderful. Full of modern amenities and entertainment options. We filled the home with music every day and watched movies after the sun went down. The sliding glass doors allow the home to literally open to the sea and the sound and feel of the ocean waves rolled right into the living room.

Wonderful property

We truly enjoyed this property. Location couldn’t have been better and we loved the beach access and ocean views from the house. Beautiful place. Only minor problems with several items not working and it looked as if cleaning crew was just in a hurry. Overall, we would highly recommend this property for a wonderful vacation place.

Great Family vacation property

Loved this house! The house had plenty of room for the three generations we took on this family holiday. Lots of room for the babies to run around and play - as well as lots of room for the adults to have some quiet time! All bedrooms were big and had private bathrooms. Kitchen was well stocked and the house was clean and easy to operate. Great location close to restaurants and shopping and areas to walk

Magical !

What a wonderful experience. From the moment you walked in the door you could not help but relax and feel at peace. The house was equipped with anything you could possible imagine. The location was perfect. We had an amazing time and would not hesitate to go back. The electronics were complicated but we did somewhat get the hang of it. The movie theater was comfortable. We were not able to enjoy it much as some of the DVDs were missing and some were "unreadable" and would not play. We could not find a rental place anywhere so spent time watching on demand TV shows.

Wonderful Property

The property worked great for our family of three couples and a one-year-old. The pool and spa were perfect for lounging together with the covered veranda/lounge. Being right on the water is wonderful even though we were happy enough to stay by the pool most of the time. The home is uniquely decorated to a high standard throughout and its size provided privacy for each couple. The home theater was fun and unique for family entertainment. Overall; high quality, spacious, great kitchen, something for everyone, walking distance to shops and steps from the beach/shoreline.

Beautiful home

This is a beautiful home in a beautiful location in Hawaii. The property has TVs in every room, a beautiful kitchen, a hot tub both inside and outside, a small infinity pool overlooking the bay, a covered bed outside to relax on, and the list goes on and on. I really liked this place. My only quibble is that they spared no expense, except they bought a cheap wifi router and booster. The home is large, so the wifi does not reach the office. I suggest your bring your own ethernet cable to plug in via hardwire in the office. Similarly, they spare no expense with the TV remotes, but they are so powerful that they change the channel on every TV in the house, which drove everyone crazy while they were trying to watch their own TV. Nevertheless, those are smaller complaints. I really liked this place, but wish they would have spent a moment on their tech issues. The rest of the home is so nice, I stuck with 5 stars.

dream land

Great location!

We stayed for 2 weeks and had a fabulous holiday. Colony Villas is immaculate with well maintained grounds and amenities. It's also very quiet and having your own townhouse w/o someone above or below you is fabulous. Not to mention being able to stroll out onto the grass from the lanai! This unit is steps from the pool and you can listen to the gentle waterfall. We enjoyed easy walks to the Hilton and A Bay, also the King's and Queen's shops for ice cream, and the occasional lunch or dinner. Highly recommended!
