Wow. Talk about a slap in the face. We went out of our way to accommodate this guest - including special accommodations at booking & early arrival. Joe called on Saturday evening saying the air conditioning wasn't working. We left a message for the A/C company immediately knowing it was going to be a weekend service charge. They sent a repairman out on Sunday morning and the tech found the A/C unit outside and in the garage were iced over, as had been running continually. He also found that the refrigerant was a little low. Temperatures had been 100+ degrees that week and a lot of A/C units had been struggling to keep up. When asked, this tech also confirmed that the A/C will only keep a 20-25 degree differential inside in extreme hot weather. Regarding the hot water, no one had changed the hot water temperature. At 5:37AM, he texted that the sinks in the both bathrooms had hot water, but he couldn't get hot water from shower in the same bathroom. Thankfully, before we sent our plumber out, he wrote back and told us that his wife said the shower was working good. Case of "Operator error". Lastly, the Smart TV, Direct TV satelite DVR, Roku, and DVD all have instructions clearly written in the binder provided for guests. We subscribe to the Entertainment 150+ channel package, but we do not carry every channel. When the TV says "No Signal", that usually means that the chosen program on that channel is not available. None of our previous guests in the past 14 months or guests since their stay have had any problems with using the TV. Once again, "Operator error". Interesting that Joe felt the need to post his negative thoughts on VRBO three weeks after we had posted nice comments about his family. There are some people in the world that are just simply "high maintenance". This is the only guest we have had that had an issue with operating the shower, A/C or the television equipment. We go out of our way to make sure that our guests are 100% happy. We hope if you're reading this, you will see from all of the other five star reviews that we work hard and keep in contact to make sure that your stay with us is an excellent experience!

Sorry that we didn't get back to you earlier with comments. I want you to know that we are currently living in this home, but we have two other houses in the Paramount subdivision and another has an Eagle that are available for rent in the future. Happy New Year!
