Charming 3 Bed Béarnaise house - Minutes from hiking spots !

At the entrance of the Valley this fully equiped and recently renovated farmers cottage offers modern comforts while keeping French charme. Some of the finest hikes of the Pyrenees are just minutes away !
We welcome you to our charming Bearnaise family home to come and discover the Aspe Valley and its surroundings. Nestled in lush greenery at the foot of a mountain, in the picturesque village of Escot.

On the ground floor : A large living room with reading area, TV and decorative woodburner, a fitted kitchen (oven, hobs, extractor fan, combined fridge-freezer, microwave etc.) with its dining area. We specify to our travelers that the woodburner is purely decorative.
Upstairs : A bedroom with spacious wardrobe and double bed, another double bedroom and 1 "children's" bedroom with 2 single beds as well as a shower room and toilet.
Our cottage has been recently renovated for your comfort while respecting the charm of the authentic Béarnaise house.
Very well insulated house that retains heat in winter and stays cool in summer.
In addition, a multitude of outdoor spaces are available to you: a courtyard with barbecue (available from April to the end of September), table and parasol, a garden with a view of the village and a garden at the back of the house for more privacy.
Easy to access by the N134, the house is located close to the legendary Marie Blanque pass and the Bénou plateau. In the Valley, the activities offered are very diverse and nature-oriented: paragliding, hiking, kayaking and horseback riding. You will also be 40 minutes from Spain via the Somport tunnel.
On your arrival you will benefit from a parking space in the neighboring meadow (please leave the entrance free because the meadow is shared)
Many amazing hikes and walks are possible in the Valley d'Aspe. We have provided you with maps, various documents and magazines, and some small equipment to prepare your day. 2/3 hikes are within walking distance of the house and hundreds of other possibilities within 5,10,20,30 minute drives !
