Ali'i Point # 5 befindet sich am Ali'i Point, einer privaten Wohnanlage mit 16 Häusern am Meer mit Gemeinschaftspool und Tennisplatz.
Zentrale Klimaanlage im gesamten Gebäude. Das Erdgeschoss verfügt über ein Wohnzimmer, ein Esszimmer, eine Küche, ein WC und ein Hauptschlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad.
Große Glasschieber öffnen sich vom Wohn- und Essbereich zur weitläufigen Veranda am Meer. Lanai hat einen Grill & Tisch und Stühle mit Platz für 8 Personen. Ideal zum Entspannen und Abendessen. Rasenfläche erstreckt sich von der Hausfassade bis zum Meer.
Im Obergeschoss befindet sich die Master-Kingsize-Suite mit eigenem Bad und eine private Veranda, die zum Sonnenbaden einlädt.
Das zweite Schlafzimmer im Obergeschoss verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett und ein angrenzendes Bad.
Riesige Wickelcouch und bequeme Stühle machen das Abhängen und Fernsehen zu einem komfortablen Erlebnis.
Ein paar Meter vom Eingang der Eingangstür entfernt befindet sich eine Wandtür, die Sie außerhalb des Komplexes und über einen Weg zum Ufer führt.
Hier haben Sie einfachen Zugang zum Meer in einer geschützten Bucht mit Sandflächen und Stufen zum Wasser.

What a fantastic place to stay! Our family of six stayed in this beautiful 3-bedroom home and loved every minute. The location was ideal for us (outside of the congestion of Kona but easy access to everywhere we needed) and the view from the lanai could not be beat -- including the whales we saw on several afternoons! Eating breakfast and dinner to the sound of the waves can't be beat. We very much appreciated the beach towels and beach chairs that were available as well as the plentiful supply of cookware and utensils. Definitely a perfect choice for us.

There is a lap pool serving the dozen or so homes in the gated community that we really enjoyed. The views from the shaded lanai are spectacular and we often see dolphins and sometimes even a whale. I highly recommend it.

Ali'i Point #5 was all we could ask for -- stunning views, spacious lanai and screened dining room, fully equipped kitchen (we all like to cook), more than enough space for group gatherings and personal privacy, and proximity to Kona, beaches, snorkeling and hiking opportunities and other points of interest.

There are really 2 master bedrooms, and there is AC, even though you really don't need it because of the cross breezes. There are 2 huge lanis, and the views are outstanding. We stayed at the house instead of going out because it was such a wonderful location. Can't say enough nice things about it. Property manager was very responsive. Only suggestion would be to add soap to the showers. House was spotless. We don't want to stay anyplace else when in Kona; this place is truly the best.

Highly recommend with spectacular views!

The photos are very accurate and the views are amazing! Quiet neighborhood. Minutes from downtown Kona. House was extremely well-stocked with spices and kitchenware (plates, pots & pans). Even had ziplock bags and aluminum foil! Also, shampoo & soap! Our only negative comment is the house was not ready at the check in time since the housekeeping staff was still working. It was about a 45- minute wait. Other than that it is a perfect spot and we highly recommend it. We had 4 adults and there was plenty of room. Barbecue works great and we ate dinner outside almost every evening. You can swim at the house, but it is rocky and can be rough if you are not a strong swimmer, but there were locals surfing out there. We saw spinner dolphins and a turtle while sitting on the lanai (patio). 5 stars!

We spent a lot of time on the downstairs lanai, sitting in the comfy chairs, and listening to the tide. The tide was unusually high for this time of year. We were able to see Sea Turtles, dolphins (regular and spinner), yellow tangs, and a shark just from that vantage point! There were also see urchins on the rocks below, as well as black crabs in front of the house. This house is close to Kona and all of the shopping and restaurants you can imagine. It was very safe, as it is in a small gated community. The air conditioning units are a big plus. And the well-appointed kitchen has enough dishes, silverware, and pots and pans for a small army. Just bring your own coffee and some Kleenex if you need it and you are set!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My experience with this rental was mixed. First the is an incredible location, right in town but also very private in a gated compound. It's located on a beautiful bay, with the water lapping the rocks just a few feet from the porch. It's a large home with a nice layout, large master bedroom downstairs, with a 2nd master bedroom upstairs. Bathrooms in each bedroom as well as a half bath downstairs. Well stocked kitchen and laundry. Lots of beach towels and other beach gear/coolers. Now the not sot others have reported the house is a little run down with some damaged sheetrock and other roughness around the edges. But, more importantly, the main AC unit when out a couple days into the rental and it took them 3 days to get it fixed. Luckily, the AC units in the bedrooms continued to work and so we were able to somewhat cool the living areas by cranking those units and keeping the doors open, but still, for close to $1000.00 a day, we should not have had to improvise. Still, it was a good trip, just know going into it that the house is a little rough around the edges.

Reviewer Comments: The view at this property was everything promised; just stunning. The condition was not quite up to expectations. We had chosen this house because previous reviews described it as spotless. It was OK, but not spotless. The kitchen was quirkily equipped; e.g. only two wine glasses and the gas grill did not reach enough heat to grill a steak. The location was good for driving/touring the island, but there is no good ocean swimming nearby and rather awful walking conditions. Final verdict: a fine rental for a large family or group, a little less than perfect for two persnickety (older) couples.

The home appears to have been constructed in the 80's or 90's and shows some signs of wear, but it is competitively priced compared to nearby homes.
