Perfect for families or couples wanting to explore the Cowal Peninsula and the West Coast of Scotland, it is ideal for guests who are looking for a coastal location within easy walking distance of Dunoon’s amenities and the passenger ferry terminal.
Interior Traditionally furnished, warm and welcoming, Kimberley Apartment features a bright and spacious living room with comfortable seating and a large bay windows to take full advantage of the spectacular sea views. It offers a lovely spot to relax and watch the boats and ferries passing by. Free Wi-Fi is available, along with LCD TV with Freeview and a range of traditional board games and books.
The well equipped kitchen is ideal for keen chefs looking to make the most of the delicious local produce, offering a dining table for six, a range cooker with two ovens and a 6 burner hob and a comprehensive range of kitchen tools and utensils. A large fridge/freezer, microwave oven and dishwasher are all included, while a small utility space, immediately off the kitchen, houses a washing machine and tumble dryer along with a second sink. The double master bedroom enjoys wonderful sea views, whilst the twin bedroom looks out over the garden to the hills behind Dunoon. There are two bathrooms; a Jack and Jill bathroom with a bidet and walk-in shower, and a further separate family bathroom with a bath and shower. Linen and towels are included.
Outside The apartment has a private entrance via rear outside stairs. There is a private, fully enclosed, garden with outdoor furniture for guests’ use.
Explore Kimberley Apartment is set in an ideal position for walks along the esplanade to soak up the sea views and to watch seals and porpoise play. It is within easy walking distance of Dunoon’s restaurants and cafes… and excellent fish and chips!
Close to Benmore Botanic Gardens, Argyll Forest Park and the well-known Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park, Cowal Peninsula is packed with places to see and things to do. The area is one big outdoor playground: take your pick from walking, cycling, sailing, fishing, golfing, windsurfing and more.
Guest Access: The upper apartment is accessed by a rear private entrance via external staircase. Approximately 17 steps. There are 4 steps in the main hallway.
Pets welcome: One well behaved dog allowed, free of charge. It may be possible to bring one further dog by arrangement.

Fantastic location, views amazing
Beautiful apartment in fantastic location, could have sat at the bay window all day watching the coming and goings of all boats & ships going by, kitchen had everything you would need with comfy beds and two bathrooms a bonus, wouldn't hesitate to recommend and book again

Comfortable Property
We enjoyed a comfortable stay in this property which had the advantage of excellent views from the bay window.
It was well appointed with everything we needed for self catering.

A lovely Trip to Dunoon
A very thought out holiday apartment
We had an amazing Time here, The Apartment was very nice. Kitchen was well equipped. Bedrooms were lovely. It was also great having the bedding and towels provided and little things like having a hair dryer supplied too. We visited lots of places and saw some beautiful lovely views. We look forward to retuning soon

Great view, great apartment - everything you need
The apartment we stayed was perfect for what we wanted. It's quiet and calm and is quite roomy.
The two chairs are perfectly placed to drink coffee in the morning looking over the waterfront and the mountains on the other side.
The fact that Morrisons was in walking distance was also pretty good.
The bed was comfortable and our dog was also pretty happy.
It's definetly worth it!

Lovely location
Apartment was in a fantastic location overlooking the sea. Everything we needed was there. We did need to contact the owner as we struggled with the heating but the response was quick and the problem resolved very quickly so no complaints.
Beds were comfy but the bed in the main bedroom felt like a small double so only recommendation would be for a larger bed otherwise happy to recommend this property.

House is in a great location central to all things in Dunoon. Fantastic views overlooking the water and lovely secure garden for our dog.
The interior of the property does look tired though and in need of some tlc. It would benefit from a deep clean, especially the bathrooms and mattress protector/pillows definitely in need of a change. The odd bit of chipped crockery and random items in kitchen cupboards don't really give a good impression at all. The electric shower over the bath was broken and handles in the main shower were missing. It really wouldn't take much to make this house amazing.
We needed to contact the owner halfway through our holiday and she responded very quickly and helped resolve the issue.
We did enjoy our stay in Dunoon though as had the most glorious weather but don't think we would return to this particular property again.

Fabulous location on the shore front, free parking, comfortable beds and chairs. Very interesting watching all the shipping go by, loved the Janes shipping guide. Double bedroom and a twin bedroom, two bathrooms so ideal for a family

Great location with seafront views, lovely property
A great place for a stay overlooking the seafront in Dunoon. Handy if you are arriving by passenger or car ferry. And perfect for just watching the sea - we saw lots of seabirds and a seal, as well as cruise liners and a submarine too. Raised platform in sitting room is a lovely touch.
A first floor flat, quiet and not overlooked. Good parking at all times.

Absolutely loved this property, had literally all the amenities and the view of the Loch is great. One of the best places I have stayed in. Was wonderful over Christmas break :)
