Villa was amazing, very spacious and clean when we got there, beds were super comfy and the pool is always an added bonus. I would 100% stay here again and would recommend to friends and family. Norma was always helpful in questions I had leading up to my stay. 10/10

Lovely Villa - Great Value for Money

We really enjoyed our stay, it’s a lovely villa and perfect for what we needed. It’s a townhouse and 2 of the rooms are in a separate annex downstairs. There’s a lovely social area outside perfect for breakfast and evening drinks. It’s a taxi journey away from the beach, we only went for the weekend so didn’t hire a car, it may be something to consider if you’re staying for longer. There are bars and restaurants near by but it is a steep walk back up the hill, again we got taxis to most places. Norma the host was great and left the house well equipped for us with water in the fridge for when we arrived which was much appreciated. Norma was in touch before and during our stay and was very helpful, as was the local agency that manage the property. It’s not an ultra modern villa, but it has everything you need for your stay and is great value for money.

Lovely Villa in Calahonda

We had a 100 points stay in this lovely Villa. It is located high with a really nice view over Calahonda and the Mediterranean. We were 9 person's, family and boy/girl friend's, the house was perfect for social gathering like breakfast, barbecue and fun in the pool. There are AC in all rooms that we really appreciated due we had a really warm weather during our week. The house is separated in two parts one part consist of ground floor and the second floor, the basement part is a little separated and you need to go outside to the main part of building, a little logistics was needed here in the mornings due to that we had different activities and two pair of keys, (two pair was sleeping in the "basement area". But both parts have direct access to the poolside. It is a calm are but close to sport like padel... also nice bar's and restaurants. The beach is approximately 25-30 minutes and downhill, we used taxi back due to the uphill walk in the heat. All parts when we arrived and leaved was really smooth and worked perfectly, we picked up the keys in a box due to we arrived outside office hour and return the keys to the service office when we leave. I had a lot of contact with Norma before and during our stay, she was very helpful and easy to get in touch with. This is not the most exclusive villa but will give a great value for money. We was nine person and stay for a week, enjoyed every minute.

Vacaciones en familia

La casa en general estaba muy bien, aunque la planta baja era la más descuidada con olor a humedad y la limpieza no era óptima. Por otro lado, el WiFi no funcionó durante toda la estancia. La playa también estaba a 10 min en coche, con poca facilidad para ir andando. Por lo demás todo estaba muy bien. Había climatización y ventiladores en todas las habitaciones. Casa espaciosa. La piscina aunque no era muy grande estaba bien. Lo hemos pasado en grande allí.

Thank you for your review. We are so happy you had a fantastic time. I'm sorry to hear you experienced a musty smell downstairs. There are extractor fans that were unplugged before your arrival by previous guests and when these are unplugged the is a musty smell until it is aired. I don't know if there was wi-fi problems in the area while you were there as it was tested and worked before and after your stay (we had it checked). I hope you'll stay again and thank you again for your lovely review.

Andy & Norma visited Andalucia in 2017 and fell in love with this property and bought it. We live in the UK and visit as much as we possibly can either just the two of us or with friends and family.

Our house is called Casa Mixy and it's the only property on Solobella with a private pool, which we love. Great for taking a dip when it gets a little too hot sunbathing. A short walk from the back gate are two communal pools. It is centrally located, close to shops, bars and restaurants. As well as being a short drive, or a pleasurable walk from La Cala and Cabopina; both have amazing white, sandy beaches, delicious tapas bars and live entertainment.
