I am sorry you didn't feel the house was appropriate for small kids or older people. We ourselves use the home periodically with our older parents, and have been doing so since our school age children were infants/toddlers. It is a fair walk down to the lake, as is the case for many of the homes on the Main Channel. We do not advertise having a beach or shallow water off of the dock, because again, we are on the main channel and show pictures of exactly what to expect down by the water. I'm sorry you envisioned something entirely different than what was described and shown via pictures. Had I known there were cleaning issues I would have gotten the cleaning crew back out there. The house is older but has been repainted, updated with contemporary decor, and again, is a place we have come to love and enjoy staying at when it is not rented out. I'm glad that despite all of the things you are complaining about now, you reported back to me that you had a wonderful stay.

I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay! It will be nice to have you, your family, and your dogs vacation with us again. Also, it's nice to hear the older grill met your needs. Although it is still very functional, we will be replacing it soon with a brand-new Weber charcoal grill. So you can look forward to using a newer grill the next time you visit!

As for the checkout note regarding the comforters—we’re so sorry for the confusion! That instruction was part of an older process that we no longer use, and we weren’t aware it was still listed. Thank you for pointing that out—we’ll make sure it’s updated immediately to reflect our current standards, where guests do not need to worry about this.
