The villa within Cromer Country Club has been tastefully refurbished with a lovely view of countryside from its large sunny terrace while just behind are the views of the sea and Cromer town. The Country Club is within ten minutes walk of the Victorian seaside town of Cromer, the Gem of the Norfolk coast with its famous Pier, lovely beaches and tasty fresh crab. It is ideally placed for exploring the Broads, the city of Norwich, and the wonderful North Norfolk coast with its bird reserves, seal watching, boat trips, fishing, quaint fishing villages. Coastal and riverside walks and the Steam Railway at Sheringham.
On site is a good bar and restaurant including takeaway service. Also a gym, games room, some other sports facilities, lounge and swimming pool complex.

Home from home

Our 6th stay at this property, our first being in 2015. From the minute we arrive we just feel at home and relaxed. Clean & comfortable with everything you need for a perfect break away. Pool, restaurant & bar on sight are excellent as are the children’s activities.

We had a lovely long weekend. The villa was bright clean and comfortable. Plenty of room and the outside private patio space was great. The pool facilities were also very good. The changing rooms clean and the swimming pool water was warm. Good entertainment in the Amber lounge and the food very good. Would definately revisit

Great half-term break

Had a lovely break over half term. All the information and details on the site were supplemented by Diana who provided additional information to us about the surrounding area as well. When we checked in at the country club, we were advised that one of the radiators was being repaired and within about 20 mins, Diana and her husband came with a new temporary heater for us to use as the defective one hadn't been repaired in time. There are a variety of activities laid on by the country club and they had even reopened the pool for half term (which we had thought might be shut for repairs/maintenance). This was an added bonus for us! Despite the somewhat inclement weather, we were able to visit Cromer and take in activities in and around the area as well as make use of the pool and other kid-friendly facilities. The house was well laid out and had everything we needed for our stay, including a stairgate that we could put up to allay our own worries about our little ones wandering around at night in an unfamiliar place. Thoroughly recommended.

I'm not sure what this says but in our visitors book in the villa, the family wrote 'We had a wonderful time in this pretty Little villa'! I have to say I wouldn't describe it as such. It is more like an apartment but we get many repeat bookings nad compliments which says a lot!

Excellent villa in beautiful lication

Spacious accommodation in a quiet location . Everything you needed was in the villa. Balcony was superb . We ate once on the site, restaurant food excellent and reasonably priced. Excellent spot for walking into the nearby town of Cromer , takes approx 15-20 mins Lovely cliff top and beach walks to nearby villages.

Very comfortable accommodation on quiet site

We had an excellent week in this lovely two bedroomed villa. Everything was clean and in good condition. The lounge/diner was just like being at home. The town/pier is a twenty five minute walk and can be reached either via road or coastal path. Only used the on-site restaurant once, for a takeaway, which was excellent. If you want to book a table in the restaurant, book well in advance as it is very popular.

Perfect Stay

This was a last minute booking and the owners were so helpful. We Had a lovely and comfortable stay here. Will definately return. Location perfect and accommodation has everything needed in fantastic surrounding.

Lovely location

Overall impression of the property was that it offered everything that it advertised. Outside terrace was a real bonus. Check in at the country club was extremely delayed due to extra cleaning requirements---we were waiting at least an hour and a half before we could get into the property. Swimming pool was unfortunately not open and games room, although open was poorly equipped.

We’re sorry about the delay in getting in but the cleanliness is a priority at the moment as COVID 19 precautions mean a lot more time has to be spent sanitising everything! Perfect for a short stay

The property was clean and well presented and had everything we needed for a short stay and the pool is perfect for young families wanting a bit of a swim and a bit of a play.

Everything was as described plus it was warm and cozy

We were three generations, aged 5 months to 79 and the two bedrooms and two bathrooms were ideal for our needs. Full cooker, kettle, toaster and microwave (useful for baby’s bottle), lots of pots and pans, cupboard space for our groceries, comfy beds and sofas. Would highly recommend

Good site with pool and gym etc. The site needs to come into the 21st century and accept that no-one charges for basic WiFi any more - certainly not a ridiculous seven quid a day. The 20 minute walk along the cliffs into Cromer was enjoyable. Property itself well maintained; compact kitchen, lots of outdoor space.

Thank you for giving our villa at Cromer 5 stars and Excellent, pleased you enjoyed it. Actually we sympathise about the wi-if, but it is provided by the Country Club to cover the whole complex so we do not have control over charges. We do advise it is chargeable in our listings. We will pass your comments on to them, and since we are able to ensure that you get full use of the pool and other on site facilities free of charge who knows one day we may be able to persuade them that WiFi should be free too. The many and varied attractions of North Norfolk are priceless though. We hope you will visit again.

Our villa was well appointed

Our villa was well appointed and we were able to provide our own evening meals without any difficulty. The location for trips out along the North Norfolk Coast was excellent. The Wi FI billing seems excessive by modern day standards . On the downside,:- Both Dining Room & Lounge Rugs still showed remnants of the previous occupier. The Ground floor bathroom had been swept but the dirt left in a corner. Apart from these minor issues, it was clean and well maintained with ample hot water and heating. On a more serious note, nowhere of the site information sheets does it mention the complex is built on a steep hillside, with steep steps leading throughout the complex. One of our party has walking difficulties, so the site wasn't really suitible for him. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Bill Walker

Thank you for your review William and for pointing out a couple of cleaning issues, we will pass these on to the Housekeepers so they are aware as this is unusual. Regarding the steps and hilly site, we do point this out in all our promotional material, we will review this and make sure it is sufficiently prominent in future. The Wi-Fi ,sadly, is not under our control as it is provided across the site by Cromer Country Club, who do charge as we mention. There is also good 4G mobile coverage too. But it is good to know you enjoyed the week overall and thank you for the 4 star rating.

Despite the foggy weather we had a lovely family stay over Easter. There is plenty to do at the Country Club itself and the accommodation was really spacious.

We felt comfortable the minute we walked in.

Attractive, clean and comfortable accommodation in an excellent situation. South-facing terrace with good tree-top view. Wonderful cliff-top walk into Cromer, which is a lovely little town with plenty of interest to see and good independent cafes and shops. Good hiking area.

Lovely clean bright apartment
