Our fabulous guest cottage with gorgeous views has been newly upgraded but still retains plenty of character and charm! New kitchen leads directly into a large living/dining room with open fireplace. Deep comfy sofas and a large round table make relaxing and entertaining easy. Sleeps 4 people in 2 bedrooms upstairs. 1 king bedroom with en-suite with large walk in shower and a twin with large single beds and en-suite with bath with shower over. Extra wc & basin downstairs. Patio, extensive garden, lake and woodlands to explore on a beautiful property in Co Limerick.
Well located to explore the South of Ireland with loads to do and only 2 hours to Dublin by train. Lots to offer locally, half day or day trips (I will be happy to help if you need guidance). 30 mins to Limerick city, 1hr to Cork city. Both offer plenty of history, culture, good food, pubs and craic! Our local town Kilmallock (1 mile) has a good supermarket, butchers, pharmacies, pubs etc and Charleville is a bigger town , approx 10 mins away, with 4 supermarkets (including Lidl & Aldi). Adare is 30 mins , known as Irelandâs prettiest village and is a lovely place to visit.
We run a thoroughbred horse stud farm in this stunning location. It is beautiful and peaceful. A perfect place to relax and unwind . Enjoy the views, walks round the lake and through the grounds, tennis court (we can provide racquets and balls). For the more adventurous we are close to the Ballyhoura hills with Mountain biking and hill walking, There are riding centres, zip wires centres, go - carting, water adventure park and much more to keep you busy too, all within about an hour.
The cottage is detached and we live in the main house. We will give you plenty of privacy but if you need any help - just ask! We are really lucky to live in such a fabulous place and hope you will come and enjoy it too!
