Villa Cerreto is owned by a renowned Florentine family belonging to the fashion industry and dates back to the 1700’s. The villa is located in the village of Pianella, which is just 14 km from the historical centre of Siena and just over an hour from Florence.
The villa is located in the heart of the Chianti Classico on the side of a hill and is surrounded by wonderful vineyards and offers a truly splendid view of the countryside. The villa is stone built and has been completely refurnished to create a truly elegant and accommodating family villa.
The beautiful private garden boasts several terracing with a stunning scenic view of the valley below including the wonderful infinity pool (18m x 4m - open from 1st May to 30th September) and furnished with garden armchairs, chaise longues and a pizza oven.

The villa is located on a hill in the Chianti region about 18km from Siena.
Florence international airport is about 80km away, San Gimignano is 55km away, Pisa 130km way, Arezzo 70km away. The nearest village is Pianella at 4km away. Here you will find shops, a pharmacy, food stores, bars, doctors and a bank.
At Castelnuovo Berardenga (15 kms away) you will find a tennis club.
For art lovers visit Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni: you will find museums, art galleries etc.

Blissfully bucolic, built of honed stone and standing proudly in spacious grounds next to sun-drenched vineyards, this elegant villa is, as the name suggests, a classic Chianti country house. A glorious place for a gathering of friends and family, the villa is surrounded by sloping lawns, sprinkled with the shade of huge age-old pine trees, dotted with graceful cypress spires and centred around a 20-metre long infinity pool. Outdoor living is further enhanced by a sunny patio with serene rural views, a rustic dining terrace with raffia chairs and a brick barbecue for long lunches. And relaxation is ensured by a team of domestic staff, including cleaning and caretaker services. The spacious house features a distinctive large kitchen; exposed ceiling beams in a large, bright dining room; a sunlit reading room with double doors on both sides; and a first-floor lounge with TV, card table and huge white sofas. The villa also has five elegantly understated and spacious suites with freestanding baths and some which feature four-poster beds. Two more rooms are located on the upper floor accessed from the reading room. These two double rooms with a low attic ceilings are better suited for young people. A further spacious suite is located in an adjoining room overlooking the terrace. Improvements for this season include a new area, with a 15-square-metre brick construction with an old wood-burning pizza oven and adjacent outdoor space and table in the olive grove. This elegant and timeless house is located just 4 km from the restaurants in the village of Pianella and 10 km from the attractions of glorious Siena.
