Diese neue, moderne Luxusvilla wurde 2009 gebaut u. zeichnet sich das ganze Jahr durch gehobenen Standard aus, der durch jährliche Renovationsarbeiten erhalten wird; sie hat einen fantastischen Süßwasserpool (10 x 5 m) mit Möglichkeiten zum Sitzen u. Cocktail- bzw. Sonnegenießen. Es gibt eine Außenküche mit Grill im großen Garten zum Essen im Freien. Die Villa ist von einem üppig grünen Garten mit vielen, farbenprächtigen, einheimischen Blumen und Pflanzen umgeben. Garten u. Pool können abends beleuchtet werden, was automatisch geregelt wird. Das Haus ist voll klimatisiert (Außer die beiden Räume im EG, da es dort tatsächlich nicht nötig ist, da sie stets sehr frisch bleiben.), u. die Fenster sind mit Mückenschutz ausgestattet (keine Angst – es gibt nur gelegentlich sehr wenige davon.). Ein zweiter, großer Garten mit Sofas außerhalb des Master Schlafzimmers ist ideal für romantisches Frühstück bzw. einen wohlschmeckenden Aperitif am Abend. Der großzügige, helle, offene Wohnbereich im EG umfasst die voll ausgestattete Küche (einschließl. Geschirrspüler), die an das große Wohn-/Empfangszimmer anschließt; dieses geht wiederum in das Fernsehzimmer mit intern. Satellitenkanälen, Musikanlage u. iPod-Dockingstation über. 3G Wlan-Anschluss ist inbegriffen. Das 2. Badezi. mit Du. befindet sich ebenfalls im EG. Das Mezzanin oben besteht aus den 2 Hauptschlafräumen: 1 Master Schlafzi. mit viel Stauraum u. Blick auf den fantastischen Garten, ein schickes Badezi. mit großer, Glasduschkabine (eine Waschmaschine ist in einem Schrank eingebaut.) u. ein 2. Zimmer mit max. 3 Betten (1 Stockbett + 1 Einzelbett). Im EG gibt es 2 zusätzl. Schlafzi. mit großem Lagerraum für insgesamt 3 Betten; die Einzelbetten können verschieden in den einzelnen Schlafzi. kombiniert werden. Die Villa ist auch mit Solardusche (Warmwasser) am Pool ausgestattet u. automatischem Bewässerungssystem. Die Villa ist ganz umzäunt, mit Toren versehen u. hat einen eigenen, großen Parkplatz.

Lovely accommodation and great location

The house is great - lovely pool and everything was incredibly clean and well equipped - including the state of the art bbq.Location is good - walkable into small town with bars, restaurants and small shops. Short drive to some fantastic sandy beaches.We also enjoyed going to the Nora village and the caves (35 minutes drive north).We did have a few small issues but in each case the owner dealt with them straight away and without any fuss.Great holiday - would recommend this property and location.

We had a wonderful week in villa cool. Lovely villa, great pool. Beaches are 15-20 minute drive and are absolutely beautiful. Local restaurants 20 min walk to town serve delicious food.

A lovely place to relax, well away from all the bustle of conventional holiday resorts,. The villa is in a beautiful setting, and with easy access to lovely beaches and restaurants. The house and pool are lovely and means you can spend a day 'in' without compromise.

Beautiful Sardinia, June 2025

We enjoyed a lovely relaxing week at Villacool. The property was perfect for our family group of 6 adults. The villa is well equipped and we particularly enjoyed the outdoor kitchen area. The pool is a great size and absolutely gorgeous! And although we enjoyed exploring local beaches, it was hard to tear ourselves away from the pool area. The village is a short walk away (though it can be punishing in the heat in the middle of the day!) and has a number of grocery shops, a bakery, butchers and cafe/ bars which were perfect to supplement supplies from the larger supermarket in Pula. We enjoyed a lovely meal at Niko’s pizzeria in the main square. We can’t recommend Villacool highly enough!

Fantastic home for your summer vacation in southern Sardinia

We had a great week in Villacool and enjoyed both the beautiful nearby beaches and the large private pool at the villa. The villa is spacious and you will find all that you need for a comfortable stay. Domus de Maria is a small sleepy but also nice little town where enjoyed a morning coffee and pizza dinner. We would for sure recommend Villacool to other families and be happy to return.

Luxurious holiday vacation

Fantastic Villa

Beautifully decorated villa, very well appointed and spotlessly clean. In a lovely setting a short hop from the local village centre. Brilliant communication from the owner and always went that extra mile to ensure all of our needs were met. Would have no hesitation in recommending, one of the nicest villas we have every stayed at. Shame we are now back to the dreary, wet, cold UK!

Beautiful & peaceful

The Villa was as beautiful as expected and the host provides a lot of info about about the region which was helpful with planning our stay. Our group had a rental car and we spent our days out and about at beaches, golf, wineries and the Villa was a great place to spend our evenings together. The kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook dinner in and there are also plenty of great restaurants a short drive away. Both Manuele, the host, and Francesca, the on-site contact are very responsive and helpful.

Well equipped, quality property

We had a very pleasant stay at Villacool, Domus de Maria. The property is clean, well equipped, and great both indoors and outdoors. The swimming pool was notably in excellent condition. We mostly ate outdoors and the outdoor gas BBQ was much appreciated. The house is a little way inland, as shown in the property listing, and therefore away from busy tourist areas, which means there is a short drive to get places but also that the property is quiet and relaxing. Definitely recommended.

Tranquil Beautiful Villa

Villacool was a great stay for us - plenty of space very clean, and reasonably well equipped. We had a couple of issues on check in but they were resolved extremely quickly. The pool was a great size and very clean although unheated which made it chilly in May but we still used it daily. Overall, the Villa is as described in the listing and the photos are accurate. On our last day we discovered the village market which has some interesting stalls. Chai beach near the tower has a lovely cafe and a good coastal walk

Great break in a beautiful corner of Sardinia

Lovely villa in a peaceful and beautiful area of Sardinia. Some amazing (and relatively uncrowded) beaches are around a 15 minute drive away. There are 2-3 nice restaurants/pizzerias around 20 minutes walk away and many more within driving distance. Quite a few villas nearby are undergoing some building work, but there was no significant noise disruption whilst we were there. The villa is really nice, having also recently completed some improvement work; and the large pool was great to cool down in! The owner (Manuele) was helpful and responsive, and this was really appreciated!

Relaxing

The villa was clean, excellent location for privacy, (you will need a car to go anywhere), pools was clean and great fun. The only issue I had, which has nothing to do with the owners, is the garbage! The town regulations are very strict and most be followed. At the end of our stay ( we did follow all the rules concerning the garbage) we had some garbage left and the manager was very helpful and said he would take care of it. The garbage instructions are very clear so if you follow them there will be no problems. Great family vacation villa. Would highly recommend,

Great holiday in a great villa

We spent a fantastic week here in October. The villa was lovely - modern, clean, spacious and very well equipped. The booking process was easy and Manuele was really helpful and organised some groceries to be delivered prior to our late night arrival. The location was perfect for us, a nice quiet area but just a short drive away from the many gorgeous beaches in this part of Sardinia. The pool is beautiful though a little chilly at this time of year but it didn't stop our 3 boys from enjoying it, in fact they have asked to go back to Villacool next year! Upon our return home, we discovered we had left behind a much loved cuddly toy, once again, Manuele was extremely helpful, quick to respond and organised for its immediate return to us - much to my son's delight. Overall, our trip to Villacool and Sardinia was fantastic and we would love to return.

Vacanza Fantastica

Our family of four spent two wonderful weeks at Villacool this August. The villa is beautiful. The large pool is perfectly positioned catching the sun all day with plenty of shady areas around it for when it gets too hot. The villa itself is beautifully presented, equipped with everything needed and more, bedrooms are very spacious and the layout of the house is fantastic. The villa, although only a short 10 minute walk from the village is very private. Domus de Maria is a lovely quiet village with bakers (amazing breads and croissants), butchers and few small shops. It also has two pizzerias, both of which are lovely to spend an evening in over some delicious pizzas and few drinks. Other lovely restaurants are only a short drive away. The amazing beaches of Chia are only 10-15 minutes by car. The owner, Manuele, has been absolutely fantastic all the way through. He kept us in the loop in regards to the ever changing Covid-19 situation and what to expect on beaches, in restaurants, travelling etc. He has given us so much information before our holiday (best beaches, where to eat, where to visit…) Nothing was too much trouble for him. We would highly recommend Villacool without any hesitation.

Fond memories of Villacool in Domus De Maria

Our family of two adults and two teenagers spent a week at Villacool in Domus de Maria in June 2014. Our arrival was very simple with clear instructions on how to locate the villa. The villa was perfect for our family with a beautiful swimming pool in Mediterranean gardens with herbs such as rosemary filling the air with their beautiful smell. Outside there was an outdoor kitchen with barbeque which we used on two evenings. We used this shaded area most days for lunch al fresco. We also enjoyed the upper terrace in the early evening to relax before going out for dinner. Internally we found the villa to be immaculate, cool and spacious and was well equipped with every modern convenience such as cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine, satellite TV and WiFi (very important for our daughters). There were two bathrooms which were very modern and luxurious. The house still has a new feel and has a very pleasing layout over split levels that allows a lovely view of the pool and gardens and a great bedroom space in the basement which is very cool and my daughter loved. The area is quiet and peaceful and we found the local people in Domus de Maria and in Chia to be very warm and friendly, and shops and restaurants were excellent value. We visited some of the beaches in the area such as Chia, SuGiudeu, Tueredda - Sardinia definitely has the best beaches in Europe! We dined out in Bithia restaurant close to the Chia Laguna Resort and returned for a second night as we really enjoyed their service and superb grilled sea bass. They had the best chips (hot and crispy) and we tried the local crispy bread for the first time which was served warm with fresh rosemary, yummy. We also visited the ancient ruins in Nora. The weather was gorgeous throughout our stay at Villacool and as we were so comfortable in the villa and pool we had trouble getting our girls to leave it and go exploring. My only complaints are that our time there went too quickly and I wish we could stay longer. Thank you Manuele for allowing us to experience the Dolce Vita in your little piece of paradise. Thank you dear guests. I am really happy you had a good time at villacool. I am now staying in my property for my summer vacation and on my flight to Cagliari with easyjet there was an article about Chia's beaches. The article said this place is "Europe's very own Caribbean paradise" (easyjet july 2014 page 144), no where else to be found. Some of my French guests reluctancly admitted that a sea so transparent is nowhere to be found even in the French riviera (cote d'azur). So, a beatiful Villa in a a beautiful location. Große Villa mit allem, was einem gut tut

Ein toller Aufenthalt, insbesondere der Pool ist wunderbar. Die Anlage und das Haus sind sehr verwinkelt, was es noch interessanter macht. Alles will erkundet werden. Die Kommunikation lief perfekt und selbst die Anreise spät in der Nacht war möglich. Danke

Schöner Familienurlaub im verträumten Domus de Maria

Die Unterkunft liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Lage. Fahrzeug ist unbedingt notwendig. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt. Die vorab Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war TOP. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Tagesausflüge.

Schönes, sehr gut ausgestattetes Haus

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in der Villa Cool. Der Pool war Mitte Oktober zwar schon sehr kalt, aber das hat die Kinder nicht abgehalten. Das Haus ist recht hellhörig, was uns aber nicht gestört hat. Es gibt einige Katzen in der Nachbarschaft, die regelmäßig zu Besuch kamen (nur im Außenbereich!). Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, alles da, was man braucht. Super Host: Manuele hat uns sogar bei der Tischreservierung geholfen, da man dort kein Englisch verstand. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig, die Strände ca 12 - 15 Minuten entfernt. Im Oktober musste man schauen, wo es noch Liegen gab, aber dafür es überall angenehm leer. Wir empfehlen das Haus gern weiter!

Wir sind eine ital., 4-köpfige Familie, u. obwohl wir viele Jahre lang im Ausland gelebt haben, lieben wir diesen schönen, entspannenden u. friedvollen Ort. Wir kommen jedes Jahr zum Sommerurlaub zurück. Mein Großvater und mein Vater kommen aus der Gegend von Cagliari, u. jedes Mal, wenn ich zurückkomme, fühle ich mich wie zu Hause. Deshalb haben wir vor einigen Jahren entschieden, ein Stück Land zu kaufen u. unser eigenes Ferienhaus nach dem Entwurf eines berühmten, ital. Architekten in Milan zu bauen (Daniela Rossi Cattaneo). Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

Ich denke, dass diese Region Südsardiniens sowie einige Orte in Griechenland und Spanien den herrlichsten Teil des Mittelmeers ausmachen. Der feine, weiße Sand, das transparente, blaue Meer tagsüber u. bei Sonnenuntergang ein schönes, ruhiger, entspannender Ort, um den Tag abzurunden. Villacool! Kochen und Essen im Freien unter dem Sternenhimmel (Der Blick auf die Milchstraße hier ist beeindruckend.) sind das i-Tüpfelchen. Wir verbringen hier immer einen 2- bis 3-wöchigen Sommerurlaub zusammen. Die Villa wurde von einem berühmten, ital. Architekten in Milan entworfen; deshalb ist sie so gut gepflegt – wir haben sie entworfen u. benutzen sie immer noch selbst! Hier gibt es keine alten oder hässlichen Möbel, u. jedes Jahr werden nach Winterende Wartungsarbeiten ausgeführt. Und am Ende eines heißen Tages spricht Sie da nicht ein Bad im eigenen, beleuchteten Infinitypool am Abend an? Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig

Wir ziehen es vor, Villacool Familien mit Kindern zu vermieten, da es unserer Meinung nach ein herrlicher, ruhiger Ort zum Entspannen ist. Wir würden gerne hervorheben, dass diese moderne, Luxusvilla ursprünglich nicht als Ferienwohnung vorgesehen war, sondern den Wünschen u. Erwartungen seiner Besitzer gerecht werden sollte, die die Villa immer noch einige Wochen jeden Sommer nutzen.
