We truly enjoyed our stay at this property, but before offering specifics, let me set some background – we rented for two months, so were looking for things that might differ from a shorter-term rental. The owner is accommodating, likable, and accessible. He takes pride in keeping the apartment in tip top shape.
The address is very centrally located, short minutes from museums to visit, shop, eat, etc. It is within the pedestrian zone which is good for non-car users. Seconds from the tram and bus stops, make access to train and rest of the city quite simple. The unit faces away from the street, so was quiet, from most street noise.
The unit is large, its rooms were oversized allowing for more ‘roaming’ and even greater privacy. The unit’s ‘loft’ on its upper floor, which I used as a work office – easily serves as an added bedroom and is large. The kitchen, which we almost never used, given that we ate almost every meal out, was fully equipped to allow for those who prefer preparing home meals many freedoms.
The unit is on the upper floor of the building – and with no lift, so provides either great exercise or effort many times a day. The main area is bright, overlooking green space to one side and with skylights.
