Reset and recharge

Clean, comfortable accommodation with excellent welcome pack and essentials. Good bed, shower, kettle. Great customer service and location. Really good place to have a recharge, highly recommended.

Calm & Beautiful

We were greeted by Kristina who was extremely helpful and kind. The Lookerer hut was beautiful and just what we needed for our weekend away. There was a calmness about the place where you could just unwind and enjoy nature.

Very peaceful stay

Beautiful location very peaceful, slept soundly very relaxing place to stay. On the website it states we would be getting a welcoming bottle of wine from local company, we got a bottle of Apple juice instead, we were looking forward to sitting outside with a glass of wine the Apple juice though very nice not quite the same. All other items listed as little extras were there yummy marsh mellows and delicious granola, tea and coffee. We paid for a breakfast the bacon, sausage and eggs were very good quality good value for money. The only other comments are the shower mat needs replacing as grubby, the large rainfall shower head needs a good descale as water going in all different directions, we had one towelling bath robe the other one was a worn fleece robe that had seen better days. There were some lovely fairy lights above the inside window sadly they didn’t work, the outside fence was weathered and needs propping up did add to the charm of the place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend as very good value. The check in information though online was all very welcoming and efficient.

A must stay!

We’re massive fans of four in the bed and this stay did not disappoint. The location is superb and tranquil with pubs close by for dining. We stayed in the lookerer and this shepherd hut had everything you’ll need! We made the most of the amenities provided and had one of the best night’s sleep we’ve had when staying away from home. The host was accommodating with late check out, checking in information and even provided us with the opportunity to get closer to the lambs.

Amazing

We came for our 10 year anniversary and It was the best staycation I’ve ever had. So natural, peaceful, enjoyable and a real break from reality. We had the best time and the little details are so thought out even down to all the info you’re sent before your stay that you can save as an app to your phone. The lambs are the cutest especially when they get zoomies of an evening. Bed was super comfy. The food boxes are lovely too. 10/10 and will be returning

A great countryside stay!

We had a lovely weekend staying at Romney Marsh Shepherd Hut. Seeing sheep and chickens wandering around the field was a treat! The breakfast and bbq boxes were delicious, and we were able to cook our dinners over the firepit. We also enjoyed a visit to a nearby winery. Would highly recommend!

Our Shepherds Hut stay

Beautiful views, loved the comfort, log burner, wool home made toiletries, blanket and hot water bottle… nice touch! The welcome apple juice, marshmallows, loaf and butter all wonderful. Will be back. Thank you ☺️

Cute and comfy!

Place for a perfect time off

We enjoyed every second in our lovely shepherd‘s hut. We loved being in the middle of the flock of sheep which we found extremely calming and relaxing. The hut is wonderfully decorated and eqipped with everything you might need. And a good starting point for hikes. A great time off!

Lovely place

A lovely place to stay, the vieuws are stunning, we were fortunate with the weather. Nice walks in the area, not to hard, and flat! No climbing! We will come back to explore Romney Marsh a bit more. And the shop is nirvana for knitters!

Lovely weekend stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay in the Lookerer hut last weekend. The hut was equipped with everything you could need and it was immaculate! The location was great, with the beach just a short drive away. It was also lovely having friendly sheep neighbours! We would definitely visit again :)

Stunning cozy weekend surrounded by sheep!

Me and my Partner stayed at Lookerer Shepards hut for two nights! Kristina and her family have the most beautiful land filled with sheep, lambs, cows and chickens, incredible views of Kent’s country side. The shepherds hut was well equipped everything you need and also items which makes the stay feel home from home. As a sheep lover this was the most perfect weekend, watching sunsets with a book and waking up in the morning looking out to a crowd of sheep and little lambs was truly magical. We were so very lucky for Kristina to let us bottle feeds a few of their lambs during our stay which makes the experience even more special and wholesome. Before our visit to Romney Marsh we were giving lots of information about the shepherds huts, activities around, what was included in our stay and what we would need to bring which was very helpful. The BBQ bundle was delicious and would recommend highly. The bed in the hut was very comfortable, shower was lovely and the bathrobes made it feel cosy. I can’t thank Kristina, family and team enough, making us feel so welcome and our stay memorable and so much fun! Will definitely be returning to stay again!

Great stay in beautiful surroundings!

Lovely one night stay and a beautiful setting. Super cosy! We would have loved a later check out rather than 10am as we felt quite rushed to leave. We didn’t have anything to put our dirty linen in but everything else was just perfect!!

Amazing stay

What an amazing stay very cosy and welcoming, everything you need is provided. I stayed for one night with my fiancé but could have been there for longer it feels so like home, the bbq/fire makes this place even more special to be outdoors, lenny the sheep is very friendly but the only one who likes any kind of attention the other sheep keep their distance, the chickens joined us in the morning what an unforgettable Experience we will be returning 100% , we also checked out the Christmas market recommended from the owner and it was great for something to do the following day with lots of handmade stuff to buy

Excellent customer service, comfortable and romantic get away, true relax and offline experience.

I have experienced the most wonderful stay, the hosts went above and beyond to help us get comfortable, we got helped with any request we had and just felt more than taken care of, even more than if we were staying with family! The location is relaxing and calming, romantic and offline totally. We didn’t want to leave! We had the breakfast and bbq package and there was so much food that we had plenty to eat! I am gluten free/coeliac and felt fully catered for. I appreciated all the attention to detail and consistent assistance throughout the stay. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
