Hello there!
My name is Angela Soulis, I am the reservations manager of the property and I come from the beautiful island of Zakynthos.
My best friend Tina and her husband Andreas that you see in the image above, created this amazing establishment and since I have studied Tourism Management and have worked in the Tourism Industry for more than 20 years, we decided to join our forces and let the world know that there is a magnificent place called Limnionas on the island of Zakynthos Greece and there lies our work of art.

I will be handling your requests and bookings and Tina and Andreas will be welcoming you in the property with their genuine smile and their heart warming hospitality.
After all Andreas is the owner and the soul of Porto Limnionas Tavern, one of the most famous taverns on the island and has been serving his food with love and care since 1989.
Tina has also studied Tourism Management, but their family and two amazing kids, Spiros and Eleftheria, have kept her a bit away from the work field.
She is coming back strong though and she is ready to be of your service with a big smile and great vibes. After all she has been a devoted yoga lover for more than 10 years. Namaste.

When Great Britain ceded Zakynthos and the rest of the Ionian Islands , to the Kingdom of Greece in 1864, it was agreed between the two States that there should be no public land on the islands and that the land should be used by the inhabitants, like it used to be during the Venetian occupation three centuries ago.
Using this right, our family started to cultivate wheat and olives, collect resin from the pine forest and also built a lime kiln in this very piece of land that our property is currently situated.
The bonds of our ancestors with this area are very strong. The love of the younger generations for the land that nourished our family for many years is also strong.
The excellent microclimate of the area, which makes it sunny and quite warm, even in the winter months, combined with its special flora, is the main reason for choosing this location to create an environmental friendly accommodation ideal for the visitor who seeks contact with nature away from the roar of mass tourism.
It is worth noting that an endemic flower called Limonium Zacynthium grows in the area near the sea of Limnionas. This small flower can not be found anywhere else on the planet.

The west side of Zakynthos is the wild side of the island. Unlike the rest of the island with the endless sandy beaches, here the access to the clear blue waters of the Ionian is from a few, very specific points. One of them, Porto Limnionas, is located in the area we chose to create the Terra Lucis Mountain Residences.
In this area in general and in particular near to our accommodation, the tourist development is mild and does not follow the rhythm of the major tourist resorts of the island.
Here the visitor can really feel what Ionian Sea and Zakynthos means, listen to the natural sounds, smell the herbs and flowers, feel connected to the vast sea, swim under the sun or the moonlight, touch the blessed fruit of the olive tree or just enjoy the setting sun in the endless blue of the Mediterranean.
