With private parking for 2 cars. Modern Kitchen, 3 bathrooms, plenty of outdoor living space with a bbq and small pool. A large terrace on the first floor and a roof terrace with fantastic views of the Caribbean Sea and stunning sunsets.

Perfect family stay

We had an amazing time at Tradewinds, the property was perfect and in such a great area. Check in and out was so easy and the property manager was on hand to help for any kind of issues. Aircon was very good and was super nice having some essential bits in the fridge for the start of our holiday. Would 100% recommend staying at Sinead and Ian's little slice of paradise!

Family holiday

Family holiday for 5 with children 15,19 and 22. Fab location just by a great beach and in easy reach of holetown and most attractions. Highlights included Mountgay distillery tour, St Nicholas Abbey, Huntes garden and snorkeling in Carlisle bay. The property is larger than we expected and the pool kept us cool.

Awesome home, excellent location, great host and staff

If you want to stay in a luxurious and spacious home with every amenity you could want...that is across from a beautiful beach, this is your spot. The host is awesome...communicates very well. The team on site was excellent. Our family loved staying in an area that mixed in with the locals. Great restaurants within 5-10 drives. Hope to stay at Tradewinds again!

A great villa with everything you could need for a perfect holiday in paradise. Clean, spacious and well appointed . Air con in all the bedrooms was a God send in the humidity of August. Wendy, the property manager, was super helpful and a gave us lots of useful local information and top tips. Michelle, the housekeeper, did a fine job of frequently servicing the villa. Having access to The Royal Fairmont Beach Club was FANTASTIC. We have loved it here and would most definitely return. Just fabulous x

Excellent Vacation In Barbados

The Tradewinds checks all the boxes. It shows better than advertised, which is usually not the case. Home was clean,equipped,plenty of space and facilities. Safe and well maintained Villa and community. Access to beach was easy and convenient and the beach was all around excellent. If you are planning on staying in in Mullins Baythe Tradewinds is a no brainer. The Hosts were extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. Left very good information and instructions. Save you some time if the Tradewinds fits your needs no need to search further. Book It RG Massie

Perfect

We had a really special holiday at Tradewinds with our 2 young boys. We had other friends staying in Mullins Bay with children and having the two villas gave us the perfect balance of having our own space to chill out and close proximity to enjoy suppers and play dates in the villa round the corner. The villa is 30 seconds from the brilliant Seashed and Mullins Beach where we were able to enjoy long lunches with full sight of the boys playing on the beach. The villa was spacious, safe and beautifully designed and the pool was great for the boys to splash around in. Alicia, the property manager, was lovely and helpful. We hope to be back next year. Thank you so much!

A lovely “resort feel” with all of the conveniences of home.

This is a beautifully maintained property directly across from the beach, with a small private pool as well as access to a larger communal pool. The hosts are wonderfully responsive, and the staff on the property (security, pool maintenance, gardeners, housekeeper) are friendly and professional. Appliances are all in great working order (most are very new). While a bit small, the kitchen is certainly equipped well enough to meet the needs of a vacationing family. Beds are very comfortable and the bedroom air conditioners work very well. As the listing states, there are several flights of stairs, so this property would not suit those with mobility challenges. If you have young children, safety gates are easily rented. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Tradewinds and would highly recommend it.

Another wonderful stay

We are repeat visitors to Tradewinds and had another fantastic trip. The house is in a prime location across from Mullins Beach, and is perfectly set up to accommodate a party of 8 (the top bedroom most suited to teens or younger). Bedrooms and bathrooms are well laid out, with air conditioning in all of the former. Fans are in the internal and external communal areas which provide a decent breeze. The kitchen is well equipped, and it is very convenient to have a washer and dryer on the property too. We really enjoyed the updated pool terrace and spent more time in the house this year enjoying the sunshine.The house is convenient for local buses, so you don’t need a car although would recommend for day trips. Good places within walking distance include Sea Shed, Bombas and Adrian’s beach. Lots of great places to discover in Speightstown, a 20 minute walk or shorter bus trip away. Thanks to Wendy and Michelle for taking such good care of us and the property while we were guests and to Sinead and Ian for being such great hosts. A very special place which we highly recommend, and we all hope to be back again soon.

A Lovely House but not Ideal

Our stay had its highlights but also notable drawbacks. The property is beautifully designed with high-quality furnishings, linens, and stunning ocean views from the top two levels. The kitchen is well-appointed. However, practical issues affected our experience. There was NO hot water throughout our 5-day stay, and the fourth bedroom, located in the attic, was isolated and unsuitable for adults or taller guests. The beach club (a bus-ride away) fell short—small, crowded beaches, unswimmable waters, and only 5 of 6 loungers available. Inside the house, the white furniture and linens caused some anxiety due to warnings about fees for stains. The living room, blocked from ocean views, felt like a basement and lacked AC, making it uncomfortably hot and unusable for games or TV. Additionally, no window screens let bugs inside.Overall, while stylish and well-appointed, it is not suitable for 7 adults, (which we were extra charged for!) the property has room for improvement in comfort and functionality.

Thank you for your review. I'm glad you appreciate the location and the interior design of the property. It's a shame other elements of your stay did not meet your expectations. Regarding hot water, our housekeeper confirmed that there was hot water when she visited the property, and we were surprised that you did not contact our local property manager with any issues. The fourth bedroom at the top of the property is as advertised and seen in the photos. We have not received any negative comments about this room before. As is common with many other properties in Barbados, AC is limited to the bedrooms, again, as advertised. There are ceiling fans in all rooms and on the patio. We took some considerable pride when choosing linens and furniture and all we ask is that it is treated with respect. The lounge is as described, as can be seen in the photos. Again we have not had any negative comments previously about this room. Window screens are not common in Barbados. The Beach Club is part of a 5 star hotel, The Royal Fairmont, on one of the best beaches in Barbados, usually with plenty of people swimming and enjoying the location. Our charging structure is clear, in that there is an extra charge for more than 6 guests due to extra cleaning and energy usage. We did try and accommodate you through date changes, guest number changes and responses to your c.30 questions.

Beautiful property in fantastic location

Six of us stayed at Tradewinds for a week and had a wonderful time. The house is in a fantastic location, with the beach across the street and has its own small pool and garden so you don’t see or hear traffic. There are other shared facilities (larger pool, spa/gym at additional cost) in the complex with good restaurants and bus service nearby so you could choose to stay there without a car. However I recommend renting one to explore the island. All of the rooms have air conditioning, were spotless, two have sea views, one faces onto garden and one (twin beds) is in the attic with access to another terrace (with sea views) next door. The kitchen is well equipped. Beach towels are provided, which came in very handy. The property manager was very responsive before and during our trip. Very highly recommend this lovely house!
