Set on elevated grounds, Margherita Villa Apartment 2 enjoy superb panoramic views of Mellieha Bay and Santa Maria Estate valley.
Forming part of 3 villa units sharing the swimming pool this villa unit has a spacious terrace on the front, enjoying distant seaviews.Then on the back there is another spacious outside space/garden with plants and flowers.
The terrace on the front has a set of table and chairs and seperate 2 comfortable armchairs and on the back there is also another set of table and chairs together with sunbeds.
This villa apartment is equipped with free wifi, a communal washing machine, safety deposit box, cable tv with many TV stations, fully airconditioned for total comfort. This facility is optional and is pay as you use by a pay per use meter operated with 1 or 2 euro coins.
On the inside this unit welcome you with an inviting living area and a seperate kitchen equipped with all the necessities.
The master bedroom with an ensuite shower together with another bathroom with bath and shower and the 2 twin bedrooms.
All tastefully decorated and attention to detail for all the necessary requirements one would need for a comfortable stay.
The pool area is equipped with sun loungers table and chairs on 2 separate spots, the BBQ and also a shower and toilet facility close by.
Private parking is always available and free of charge on the driveway of the villa.
All in all a very comfortable property awaiting for you to stay!

Wonderful holidays on Malta

We spent wonderful holidays in this villa. The apartment was very clean and equipped with all the things you need for a pleasant vacation. The villa is in a quiet location within easy walking distances to all major places such as supermarket, nice restaurants,... Margaret is a very nice landlord and very helpful. Loved our stay in Mellieha

Super apartment, huge, comfortable and spotless. Great location, quiet but easy walking distance to shops and some great restaurants. The beautiful, sandy beach is about a 30 minute walk away, but we appreciated the exercise! Didn't need a car as there are bus stops a short walk from apartment, with regular buses to many locations on the island. Our only complaint was the week was much to short! There is loads to do in Malta and we would love to return. Thank you Margaret, you were a lovely host and a pleasure to deal with.

Beautiful apartment

The photographs of the apartment looked lovely at the time of booking, when we arrived the apartment was even more lovely. The apartment was extremely well equipped. There was nothing else we could have needed. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. Extremely clean and smelt lovely and fresh. The owner was delightful and friendly and extremely accommodating. The garden area and pool were beautiful. I would definitely recommend this apartment and we hope to return in the future.

Great apartment and location

There is a two bed apartment on the ground floor and two three beds on the second floor (the owners live on the third floor). The apartment was very well equipped, clean, beds were comfortable and showers were good. You didn’t have to worry about being the last to shower as the water was always hot. The apartment was quiet never heard anyone else. Lots of restaurants in easy walking distance and all very good. If I had any negative it would be it wasn’t the apartment in the picture with the large settee outside but there was a table and chairs and two small padded chairs. However I would stay there again and the pool area was nice with plenty of sun bedshad to.

Lovely spacious appartment

You need a car here. You can nip on buses if you prefer.Although you can walk 15mins to a couple of restaurants, a supermarket and shops. We would of liked the maids to come in mid week and change the beds. It would of been better to have thick cotton sheets than the flanelette provided, which are better in cold weather. We had a great stay and Margret was very attentive to our needs. Including a few provisions in the fridge for I r arrival. Would recommend and would go back.

It was a pleasure to have you stay in one of my villa units. I just want to reply to some of the comments you have made. When you stay at the villa Margherita you do not really need to rent a car as the bus stop and also the nearest restaurant and supermarket are within 3 - 7 mins walk. Bed linen is changed once a week and since you were here for just one week, there was no need to change the bed linen.However if you had asked me to change the sheets, I would have changed them for you. I do not recall having taken out of my closets the flanelette sheets as I do have these kind of sheets for the winter months. I always provide summer sheets during the summer season. It would always be a pleasure to have you back in the future.

Spacious AparApartment yment

A large spacious apartment, clean and functional. Couldnt get aircon to work except in one bedroom. Although only needed it twice. Safe was advertised but couldnt find it. Our 3 bed apartment had a lovely private terrace at the back. Could have done with a sun umbrella in that area as too hot to eat in during the day. And outside lights werent working at night! Shared pool. Plenty of sunbeds and well worn mattresses. All in all good accommodation although a little worn in places. Near to buses and supermarkets. Good 30 mins downhill to the sea. Owner on site, friendly and helpful.

Holiday with family at Margareth`s Apartment

The apartment was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Each person had 2 pairs of towels (shower and pool towel) - as we asked for. Free parking outside the house. Unfortunately there were some things we did not accept. It all started with the check-in. We got around 2 hours later in as check in time was. We were disappointed as we had to change our plans for the day. We saw that other persons got out late and cleaning person has nothing for it. As we all know - sleep is so important on holiday. Unfortunately, the mattresses in all the bedrooms were very uncomfortable and worn. None of us slept well on them. The pillows were also uncomfortable (a matter of taste, of course). There was an extreme loud creak in one of the beds, when you turn the side that we had to put the mattress on the floor so that others could sleep. Sad to say - but that was the case. Thank you for the cot as we asked - but unfortunately my child couldn't sleep in it because the whole cot smelled of mould and the mattress underneath was full of mould. I asked Margareth to send someone to change the cot - no reply. The pool area was nice - but the sun loungers were horrible - almost all broken in every corner - my sister hurt her back. The sun lounge mattresses looked so dirty that we did want to use them. Also so many broken children's pool toys - why do you not sort the broken ones out. It looked like such a mess of toys. We are sad that our stay in Malta was not like we wished.

Very sorry that you found my house to be disappointed for you unlike all other guests who have submitted 5 star for the same property. When you were here I was in bed with a very severe back pain and could be that I had seen your message late and then you decided not to have the baby cot after all.... The sunbeds have been changed as when you were here they had not arrived yet as they were ordered.

Wunderbar im Oktober

Die Wohnung ist schön groß und ausreichend ausgestattet. Der zur Anlage gehörende Pool mit den dazugehörigen Liegen ist zwar etwas kleiner, als er auf den Fotos wirkt, aber perfekt um sich ein wenig zu entspannen und zu sonnen. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin ist besonders hervorzuheben. Sie hat uns aufgrund unserer späten Ankunft Frühstück in den Kühlschrank gestellt, worüber wir uns sehr gefreut haben. Auch hat sie immer wieder nach unserem Wohlbefinden gefragt. Margaret können wir ausnahmslos weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für den schönen Urlaub. Ein einziges Manko war, dass sich zur Zeit eine große Baustelle auf der anderen Seite der Straße befindet, dessen Bauarbeiter sehr früh mit arbeiten anfangen.

With regards to the construction site, I think you were really very unlucky as just after you left the loud noise stopped. Nice place, perfect host

Margaret is a very nice host, she bought some things so we don't have to go the supermarket directly after the flight. In case of questions she helps in a kindly way and feels responsible 24/7. The location is a perfect base where you feel like coming home after your daily trips. The tourist spots all over Malta, Gozo and Comino are nearby. The rooms are also in good condition.

toller Maltaurlaub

Wir (2 Erw., 4 Kinder) besuchten das 1. Mal Malta und verbrachten eine Woche (1. Woche in November 2011) in einem Apartment von Margaret. Es war unsere 2. Ferienwohnung von Fewo-direct und war die bessere Wohnung. Die Lage und Ausstattung der Anlage und des Appartments sind super: Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Supermarkt, Bächerei, Fleischhauer) binnen weniger Minuten zu erreichen. Bushaltestellen in beiden Richtungen (Valetta und Gozo) ganz in der Nähe. Villa Margaret für schönen Maltaurlaub unbeding zu empfehlen. Apartment sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet, Pool sah toll aus, aber Wetter leider schon zu kühl/windig um auszunützen. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gut erreichbar. Vermieterin sehr nett (organisierte Taxi zum/von Flughaben, erklärte Gebrauch des Gasofens).

Malta - nur so!

Wir hatten zum 2. Mal einen tollen Urrlaub mit unseren 19 und 17 Jahren alten KIndern in der gleichen Wohnung wie vor 2 Jahren. Die Wohnung ist im Vergleich zu einem Hotel absolut geräumig mit einem geradeausblick über den z.T. neuen Stadtteil Santa Marija und dem seitlichen Blick zum Meer. Wir hatten ein Auto - das macht vieles einfacher - z.B. Einkäufe bei Lidl in San Gwann oder Ausflüge an die Strände der Westküste. Die alten Oldtimer-Busse sind leider seit dem 3. Juli 2011 durch Europäische Modelle vom Betreiber Arriva ausgetauscht worden und das neue System ist während unseres Aufenthaltes in Chaotische Zustände ausgeartet. Also Auto ist schon gut, aber wenn das System wieder funktioniert, nicht unbedingt erforderlich. Zu Fuss ist alles gut zu erreichen was das Leben erleichtert. Supermarkt ist in ungefähr 8 Min. erreichbar. Restaurants gibts in Mellieha auch reichlich. Aber 'zuhause' bleiben ist auch wunderbar! Der Pool ist dermaßen angenehm, dass es einem schwer fällt sein Domizil zu verlassen.

een prachtige locatie op een prachtig eiland

we waren 5 dagen in dit mooie appartement. Veel te kort om zowel van de accommodatie als van Malta ten volle te genieten. Het appartement was luxe, royaal en van alle gemakken voorzien met een royaal zonnig terras rondom met een trapje naar het zwembad. De eigenaresse was heel gastvrij en behulpzaam. Winkels en bushalte dichtbij en het centrum met z'n eetgelegenheden op loopafstand. Werkelijk een aanrader!!!

Clean, spacious and very comfortable Villa. Convenient location, good restaurants and excellent supermarket within walking distance. Shared pool area, BBQ and seating areas beautifully maintained. Lovely host - very helpful and accommodating.

Idéal!

Parfait séjour dans cette villa. L’appartement est ultra propre, spacieux pour deux familles et très agréable. La terrasse pour prendre le petit déjeuner est parfaite. Je vous conseille cette villa idéal pour découvrir Malte!

First malta visit

Margaret very welcoming and helpful. Very spacious, well furnished,lovely terrace area..ate breakfast outside every day in sun in Feb. Only downside was having to feed a meter each day to get to get any heat which necessary for the evenings. Also lighting very dim for reading. Very enjoyable time in Malta with plenty to see and do

Many Thanks for your kind review and it was a real pleasure to accomodate you. As for the aircondition meter, we set this up as if we do not ask for payment some clients would leave the aircondition on and leave for the day.I know this was not the case with yourselves but cannot really adjust to customers. Thanks for passing on attention to the lighting.I will be decorating the apartment soon and take note of all the lighting. I also want to thankyou for leaving the apartment very clean and tidy. Great location for exploring the real Malta

Excellently located spacious property that helped us really enjoy our first visit to Malta. The owner was so helpful and made sure that our visit was truly memorable., from help with arranging airport transfers and car hire, plus advice for places to visit. We hope to visit again in the near future.

Excellent séjour

Comme d autres l ont déjà précisé, le location est absolument conforme aux photos . Le lieu est idéal sans voiture car on peut visiter toute l île en bus. Méfiez vous cependant des distances, il faut 1h30 pour aller à La Valette. La plage est à une quinzaine de minutes ( en bus) . Margaret est absolument adorable et aux petits soins pour les locataires .

Spacious inside and also the outside.This unit has a seperate entrance and there is no communal entrance.For entering there is a ramp and so very easy to carry the luggage up one floor.
Located in a serene location and at the same time very close to the bus stop supermarket, bars and restaurants
Equipped with all the required daily needs one can ever think of
Airconditioned, free wifi and cable TV with the maximum number of tv stations
Decorated to detail to feel comfortable and relaxed.
The outside space is private on one side of the terrace and is sharing on the pool deck and the other spaces.
Owner is close by and so can be reached very easily if any help is needed.
