Smugglers Cottage is a wonderful base for a seaside getaway in Dorset. Please note: This property does not accept children under the age of 6.

Note: Fayre In The Square (usually late May Bank Holiday weekend each year) and Wessex Folk Festival (usually first weekend of Jun each year, and the Seafood Festival (usually a weekend in July). These fantastic free festivals see the harbour and Hope Square closed to traffic. With live music, entertainment and stalls throughout the weekend. Town: The coastal resort of Weymouth is a popular family holiday destination at any time of year, with a variety of attractions on offer, including glorious golden sandy beaches, boasting excellent watersports facilities and a picturesque and bustling harbour, where you can take regular fishing trips. Portland Harbour is a short drive away, along with the rugged “Isle” of Portland, linked to Weymouth by Chesil Beach. Nearby Dorchester is worth a day trip, while a scenic journey along the coastal road towards Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens is also a must.
