Excellent location, spacious and beautifully decorated apartment. Very clean and convenient. My only complaint is excessive charge for early check in. 300 for a few hours. I know it’s a common practice to charge guests from 4 pm to 11 am stay, but it feels like a rip off. Sorry

We chose the Merveil Victoria for its location and that it had air conditioning. Both were excellent. The apartment though is very minimally stacked in terms of kitchen utensils and had not even salt provided. It was more rundown (building and apartment) that I expected for the money and from the photos.

Great Location

Location was close to everything. The apartment was well appointed. We enjoyed our stay. The bathroom/shower situation was a little different, with 1 shower/toilet combo, 1 toilet and 2 showers with 1 of the showers attached to the master. It worked jut a little odd.

Wonderful in all ways!

Beautiful apartment close to all. Was perfect for my family of 10. Highly recommend this property for a central Paris location to experience all the highlights nearby. Friendly people at all the local cafes and restaurants - easy walk to so many sights central to Paris and loved the neighborhood. The management company was communicative and made our stay wonderful - thank you for the welcome gift wine basket!

Our check-in experience was very disappointing.Check-in was scheduled for 4:00 PM. We had asked in advance about early check-in since we were traveling with an infant but were told it wasn’t possible (though we could drop bags early). When we arrived at 2:00 PM to drop our luggage, the cleaner was there but nothing in the apartment had been started — beds were unmade and bathrooms uncleaned.We returned at the scheduled 4:00 PM check-in time expecting the apartment to be ready, but it was exactly the same as when we left. The cleaner was still there and even had a friend in the apartment who left when we arrived. Because we were traveling with a baby who needed to nap, my daughter and son-in-law had to try to settle the baby in a bedroom that had not yet been cleaned while the cleaner worked around us. The rest of our group sat waiting while the apartment was cleaned until about 5:30 PM.This disrupted our first evening in Paris and caused us to miss plans we had made.The apartment is charming and very Parisian, but guests should know there are only two toilets in the apartment, both near the entry, and the primary ensuite does not include a toilet. There was also a mild sewer smell from the sink in the primary bathroom, which I reported.Lastly, I accidentally left a pair of earrings behind and contacted the manager several times but never received a response.Overall, the apartment was fine, but the check-in experience and lack of follow-up communication was frustrating.

Great location

The location was great. The apartment much smaller than anticipated but worked well for our group of 10. Their needs to be instructions regarding utilities in English. AC units in 3 out of 5 bedrooms . We utilized all fans. However if you dont mind spending the money, this apartment is a prime location for many sights as well the nightlife.

Great location and responsive host

We came with our kids and grandchildren for 10 days. The location was perfect. Easy walk to the Latin Quarter, Louvre, Les Halles and Notre Dame. The building was very safe. The kitchen is not very well equipped, it lacks proper knives. That is my only negative about the apartment. It was really beautiful and stayed cool even in the heat. We will stay there again the next time we come. It truly was the perfect location and the hosts were always quick to respond to any questions. I highly recommend this apartment!

Special Family celebration

The apartment was perfectly located for us. It is a beautiful apartment with tall ceilings lovely light coming from lots of large windows. There was plenty of space for the nine of us…three couples and three children. The only negative was the en suite in the master did not have a toilet, there are three bathrooms, but only two toilets. Taking into consideration the age of the building, it is understandable and we made it work and would not hesitate to stay here again. The building is also equipped with an elevator which many are not. The Merveil management team were very responsive to any requests or questions we had. It was a great trip!

Beautiful Apartment in Fantastic Area

Overall we loved this apartment. We were 10 adults, in this "5 bedroom." The apartment is well decorated, clean and the location can't be beat. One small thing to know is that 2 of the bedrooms are connected by a thin glass partition, so there's not much privacy. It could be ok for parents/kids, but not really for 2 adult couples. Also, on one of the days, we had no water in the building. I wish we had known this in advance. On another day, the washer did not work. I contacted management, but it took several days to fix. Again, overall, great place. Location has an elevator.

Beautiful property

The apartment is beautifully decorated and in a great location. Walking distance to restaurants , small supermarket, shops. One thing to note is that only the master bathroom has a shower in the room. But no toilet so you still have to leave the room to use the toilet in the hallway. None of the other rooms have their own bathrooms. They are all pretty much together near the front entrance. The building itself is very charming. Has a small elevator. The stairs had an issue in that the light would not come on with the sensor as we would reach the 2nd floor. Do left in the dark. The 1st floor neighbor is an extremely rude man who made our exit very unpleasant. Washer and dryer had signs not to use so not sure why they are listed as amenities. Overall , yes , a good place to stay given location and decor. A bit pricey for what it is however.
