Chateau Louise -

Chateau Louise is nestled perfectly towards the East end of Destin in Miramar Beach, Florida. With over 3,600 square feet of space, 5 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, this home is the perfect beach destination to accommodate up to 16 lucky guests. Situated on Casting Lake Road, this vacation rental is tucked away from the busyness of Destin but keeps you in the middle of all the wonderful activities and things to do!

Upon entering the home you are greeted by a large great room on the first floor equipped with a queen sleeper sofa and convenient access to the pool and patio area. Also on this level, you will find four guest bedrooms equipped with a cozy King, two bedrooms with Queen beds, and a kids room with two Twin beds. There are also full bathrooms on this level for guests to use.

Making your way up to the second floor you will notice additional living space also with a queen sleeper sofa. The full Kitchen and Dining area are also on this level where the household chef can take full advantage of whipping up savory treats and home cooked meals. A separate study with complimentary internet access is included here as well for the one who MUST work while on vacation. The spacious King Master Suite is the one and only bedroom located on this floor and has a full bath attached, as well as convenient balcony access. Chateau Louise is the perfect getaway for your next Destin beach vacation and will without a doubt be your next home away from home!

Althea house was amazing, the pool is huge plenty big for our group. My only wish is there was a way to get to old 98 in the golf cart.

Great beach, pool and hot tub

The golf cart was nice for transporting grandparents and kids to the beach. The beach was fantastic and the heated pool and hot tub were essential in November!

Splendid Vacation

Absolutely loved the location of Chateau Louise. The convenience of getting to the beach was wonderful. The house was laid out nicely. We had small children and the doors to the pool made it very convenient to watch them.

The trip was amazing, house a little outdated. But, overall beautiful property.

The property and service was great. My family really enjoyed themselves. We just had to go buy a few things but, the property had most things. The deck is great and the kids loved the pool/jacuzzi. The property was close to everything. I would definitely stay here again.

Good location - pool, hot tub, and golf carts a plus

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Any minor issues were resolved quickly. Location and distance to beach was great, maybe 1/4 mile. House is in good shape - enjoyed the space, both indoors and out. Pool and spa were wonderful (although a little issue with pool getting green, but was taken care of fairly quickly). The pool and hot tub were necessary for those days when waves were too big to go into the ocean; but the beach was enjoyable and beautiful, long stretch to enjoy.

Overall, the place was great. It was spacious and most rooms had a personal bathroom. One queen room and twin bed room shared a bathroom. The two golf carts were great although one is getting old and slow. The hot tub was nice. We added the pool heat for September but it probably wasn't necessary. We would consider staying again if we head back to Miramar Beach.

Great property

We really enjoyed our stay. Overall the property is very nice. The furnishings are a little dated & an eclectic collection of mismatched items, but comfortable. The carpets are quite stained, but were vacuumed. The pool is very nice. Lots of outdoor furniture to take advantage of. The oven didn’t work all week which was a real pain since we cooked most of our meals. I’d definitely recommend the property & the rental company, though. The rooms are large and the house is nice overall. It’s close to the beach. It is right next to an RV park, but we never had any issues. We had a wonderful time!

Not what it seems

I reviewed the house throughly, because our days were planned strategically. The check is process was great and the management company let us know that we were able to check in early, which was great. Most of our itenary was based on having the the golf carts that they provided. After charging them all night and going out that morning, we found out that the batteries did not last for more than 30 minutes and the golf carts were not registered to be on the street, they were on registered to be on the back road of the house that you could only go to the beach. Because of this we had to rent a van that was 1000, which we were not expecting. The golf carts were not available for 2 of the 4 days that we were there. My other complaint was they only provided us with 1 roll of tissue in each bathroom and 2 of the bathrooms the rolls were not full. They also only provided 1 roll of paper towels. If they would have explained all of this prior to my stay i would not have rented this property. If you are able to stay on Senic route, that may be a better house. Also the outside is not very astetic, looked dirty and does not look like the pictures. The inside could surely be upgraded and the mattresses could be exchanged or flipped. After all of this they asked that we take out the trash, which was already filled to the top of both trash cans. I have stayed in Destin a few times and this was the worse stay.

Great location, loved the pool and hot tub. Golf carts made it easy to get to the beach. Nice floor plan with plenty of room for all. Had a great time and would definitely stay again.
