We had an amazing time thank you so much. The outdoor areas and pool are gorgeous and where we spent most of our time. Therea€ℱs space for everyone including shady spots. The location was easy to find. In between Assos and Fiskado which was perfect for exploring this end of the island. We spent a week at each end so we could see as much as possible although you could see a lot from here. Therea€ℱs a super market near by and lots of restaurants to eat out. The sunsets over the sea and pool are amazing and you can hear the mountain goats outside during the evening which we enjoyed. We are a family of five so one child slept in the living area on the put up bed. The blinds make it super dark and she slept amazingly well. We also appreciated the midweek clean. We loved Kethalonia and the villa and would stay again.

Stunning location - spectacular sunsets

Beautifully clean, well-kept property in the most fabulous location. Incredible views, beautiful surroundings and friendly local taverna within easy walking distance. We loved it and would highly recommend for families.

The perfect Romantic Getaway

We loved the multiple outdoor patios and balconies, all with beautiful views of the Ionian Sea, nearby villages, and hills. The perfect place to relax and recharge!!! Perfect for a romantic getaway!

Wonderful stay in lovely property

We loved our stay in Villa Vallio, the location is fantastic with all the beaches of north Kefalonia in easy reach. The children loved the pool which was warm and clean. The villa has everything you need. Lovely taverna 100m away.

Me and my family had a wonderful time on holiday here. The villa was perfect and met all our needs. Facilities were excellent and the view was fantastic. We made great use of the pool and BBQ. We also had a great night at the local Taverna, and within a short easy drive you could access beaches and different places, particularly Fiskardo, which is beautiful. I would highly recommend it and would return again.

It was a beautiful spacious well-equipped villa in a peaceful hillside location approx 10 mins drive from the center of Asos where there was plenty of life if you want it. The kids loved the occasional dip to the pool and also play around the villa. Villa Valio is very spacious and we were grateful for the comfort of the sitting room in the villa as the weather was unseasonably chilly at night. We do rent a hire car as we wanted to visit also other places in Kefalonia. There is no better way to enjoy an evening meal than on the veranda of Villa Valio enjoying the incredible sunsets. We hope to return soon!

Plusses and minuses

There were some ups and downs. The good: the view from the pool area and the pool are great; location for the thing we wanted to do was perfect; check in and directions were exceedingly easy. The less good: the bathrooms are super small, including the one upstairs that has a virtually unusable shower; cleanliness upon arrival was poor, to the point where we contacted the management company after cleaning it ourselves; be prepared to bring everything you need yourselves as nothing was provided. No welcome items other than one bottle of water, no extra toilet paper, no welcome bits and pieces,not even salt/pepper, and no towels to use around the pool (with a note telling you not to use the one towel each person is assigned). The price point and the service level did not match, in our experience. if you want a nice view, good location, great pool deck, it's a good choice. if you like homey touches and warmth of a family run place, and/or are bothered if the place is a little less than clean, you may be a little bothered, as we were. But overall, it was pretty good.

Fantastic views

The instructions to the Villa were accurate and we found it with no problems. The inside is a bit dated and I did have to clean the kitchen before use (the countertops had breadcrumbs on and the fridge top was full of dust/doors were filthy). The sunbed cushions were comfy but one had rips all over it and the cushion on the sofa in-the balcony/terrace was absolutely filthy. We also could have done with just some helpful homey bits like salt, tinfoil, more than 1 washing/dishwasher tablet as we were on there 6 nights and didn’t really want to buy a whole box of tablets etc The aircon was brilliant and the terrace space was great to have. The views however were absolutely stunning and the sound of the bells on the goats nearby was so lovely to hear. This was the selling point and was the best part of our stay!!!!

Lovely Location but be aware!

Lovely location & this is what sells the villa. However the accommodation is rather compact & was left not cleaned properly for arrival with cobwebs evident. Photos are quite old as views are becoming obscured by trees getting larger. Still beautiful views as can see the sea & some of surrounding area but soon to be blocked by foliage unless managed. The pool people turned up 3 times a week un-announced & just let themselves in, something that really should be arranged as there is no privacy. The villa is ok for 2 people or young family but not for 4 adults. The bathroom upstairs was compact to say the least (tiny) with a wet floor drain right by the bedroom door. If someone wishes to use the basin or wc afterwards, be prepared to get your feet wet. The bathroom downstairs has a shower but no head holder that fits! The facilities are very basic but serviceable, however when we arrived there was no welcome pack or anything to make a drink. Something that would be an advantage & nice touch depending on when one first arrives. In summary, a lovely location with good views at present, however the villa requires better maintenance/updating & just a little more thought & attention. Shame because if the above things could be sorted, it would be a really good choice.

Die Villa war sehr schön gelegen hatte eine wunderbare Aussicht.

Es war alles sehr gut. Leider hat die Reinigungskraft ihre Arbeit nicht so genau gemacht. Die Auflagen auf den StĂŒhlen den Liegen und den anderen Sitzgelegenheiten mĂŒssten dringend ausgewechselt werden. Am Pool ist Wasser hinter die Folie gelaufen so das man ein lustiges gehen wie auf Blasen hatte.

We had the most amazing stay at this villa - it was just incredible waking up to that gorgeous view every day! The interior could do with a bit of updating - but you really don't spend a lot of time inside with the view/pool outside anyway though. Just stunning - would definitely recommend :-)

Fantastic views over the bay! The location fully met our desires to where we could do day trips with ease and still have time to take advantage of the private pool and more local things to do. Set in beautiful countryside, the villa was very comfortable and private. We really enjoyed the outdoor spaces around the BBQ, pool, and terrace! We had a great time there and were every day amazed by how lovely the places Fiscardo and Asos are ( both reachable within a short 15-20 minutes drive). The villa is cozy, has more than everything you need, wonderful grounds, sea view, pool everything! Very satisfied that we booked this villa for our current holiday destination and we definitely book it again for the next year.

A peaceful location away from the main tourist strip which makes it a perfect relaxing place. The villa was spacious and nicely furnished (and spotlessly clean on arrival). Went there to chill out by the pool but also managed to entertain ourselves at local beaches: Î‘Ï…Î»ÎŹÎșÎč, Jerusalem Beach, Kamini Beach. Nice and friendly people in the Fiscardo region. We enjoyed their hospitality and their help in pointing the directions, places to visit, and what local specialties to try. We also visited Fiscardo, Asos, and Agia Effimia and explored the area ( local amenities, beaches, shops, restaurants...). We tried great Greek specialties there. Nice holiday overall. Much gratitude to everyone that helped book and look after us before and during our stay. Will definitely be returning.

Excellent Villa. Outstanding location if a holiday of peace and quiet is required. Far away from the noise and close enough by car to access the North of the Island. The Taverna at the end of the driveway served the best Greek food we came across during our stay and is very reasonably priced. All in all a wonderful stay in October. Good weather, location, and accommodation. We would certainly return to this Villa and recommend it to friends

Villa Valio is a great place for peoble who like views and silence! There is just a forest between you and the sea! Because of the hill setting youll have great sunsets. The house boates everthing you might need like dishwasher and washing Machine. (We missed a BBQ tongue and a peeler).The bathrooms are very small but functional. The pool is well maintained, clear and even in october warm enough to be used. If you are there in october, like us,you should buy your basics in Argostoli cause the little shops around are nearly emty at the end of the season. There are some beautiful beaches reachable by car and the coastal road is very scenic. All in all an amacing place for holiday!!

We had a very enjoyable stay at the villa and hope to visit again, we have also recommended both the villa and Agni travel to our family and friends. I also think that the description should also state what a wonderful and amazing views out to sea that the Villa has to offer, the outstanding sunsets, we were very pleasantly surprised that the villa had to offer.
