It is well equipped providing all you need for a comfortable self-catering holiday in Ireland. The bright living room has comfortable furnishings, Smart TV, DVD player and an additional open fire. Derryleigh House is ideally located 1.8km from the village of Boherbue which has a selection of amenities including a grocery store, pharmacy, post office, hardware store and a number of country pubs.
Things to do in the local area:
- Many fishing opportunities locally on the Araglin and Blackwater River known to be very popular with anglers all around the country.
- Town of Millstreet is located 13km away and is home to one of Ireland’s largest equestrian centres called the Green Glens. Visit Millstreet Museum and experience the history of this North Cork, an interesting insight into the past.
- Town of Killarney. Situated on the shores of Lough Leane this bustling town has a fantastic selection of restaurants, bars, craft shops and fashion boutiques. From here you can reach the scenic Ring of Kerry or hike the 200-km Kerry Way walking trail. Explore Killarney National Park lakes and rugged landscape which encompasses the McGillycuddy Reeks Mountain Range.

IMPORTANT NOTES
1. Heating and Electricity:
Depending on the location of your booking, a non-refundable Utility Contribution of €40 may apply. If applicable, this charge is paid with your holiday balance and will appear in your payment breakdown.
If no Utility Contribution is shown on your booking, we recommend contacting our call centre to confirm how utility charges are applied, as this can vary by location.
If the €40 Utility Contribution has been charged, any additional utility costs will be handled in one of the following ways:
•Paid locally to the Owner or Property Manager. Please check with them directly, as the calculation method varies by property.
•Pay As You Go electricity meter. The €40 will be credited to the meter on the first day of your stay, and you will need to top up the meter as required during your stay.
Please note that gas or oil charges, where applicable, are always payable locally based on usage and are not included in the amount paid at the time of booking.
2. Security Deposit:
A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid prior to check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.
