We have a range of several chalets that can ensure that you can enjoy a wonderful holiday in nature.
The chalets are modernly furnished and have a living room, kitchen, bathroom, toilet, and central heating. We are accessible all year round, which is great because even in autumn and winter it is wonderful for walking and cycling.
The chalets have their own entrance and are predominantly for four persons and have the possibility to park the car and place your bicycles.
Is it bad for a day and is it raining? We have a fast internet connection with free Wifi so you can enjoy a series or movie on our modern TV's.
It is a wonderful base for cycling and walking tours through the woods or on the beautiful heath. You will be amazed when you discover the diverse flora and fauna that this beautiful nature reserve has to offer.
It is also a pleasure for your children: take them to the climbing forest in Garderen or go to Recreation Lake Zeumeren and the Treasure Island for a fun day in nature. In addition, well-known locations such as the Apenheul, the Dolfinarium, and Koningin Julianatoren are less than half an hour's drive from our chalets.
Why the Veluwe? The Veluwe is the largest continuous nature reserve in Europe and also has the highest amusement park density in all of Europe.
Enjoying the beautiful surroundings of the Veluwe and with cities such as Amersfoort, Apeldoorn, Arnhem, Amsterdam, Almere, Utrecht and Nijmegen within 1 hour a good choice to combine cycling or walking in nature with a trip to these beautiful cities.
In the immediate vicinity there are many villages that are worth a visit: Garderen, Harderwijk, Nijkerk, Voorthuizen, Elburg, Ermelo, Nunspeet, Barneveld, Elspeet, Uddel, Hoenderloo and Otterlo.
The chalets are located in a recreation park surrounded by forest. From your chalet, you are in the forest within a few minutes. You can enjoy the peace and tranquility of the Veluwe. Enjoy cycling and walking on the many available routes. Be sure to take your camera with you: there are many beautiful things to see.
Putten is an old place with a long history. In the Second World War, many inhabitants died, for whom there are now several monuments in the village. There are also several old churches, mills, and ancient farms in Putten. There is also a pleasant shopping center with nice little shops and plenty of opportunity for a snack or a drink.
There is a bicycle rental in the village and you can also rent a boat nearby at the Veluwemeer, the beautiful area for water sports enthusiasts.
In Harderwijk, you can not only visit the Dolphinarium but also enjoy a nice fish on the terrace. In Apeldoorn, you can enjoy a nice day out by visiting the Apenheul or Paleis Het Loo.
Lovers of flora and fauna will have a great time in De Hoge Veluwe National Park.
