Ein sehr großes Schlafzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten und ein Schlafzimmer mit einem Doppelbett und einem Duschbad befinden sich im Erdgeschoss. Der Eingang zum Haus ist von einem großen Innenhof an der Spitze einer langen Fahrt. Im Obergeschoss befindet sich ein offenes Wohnzimmer mit einem Ess- und Küchenbereich. Auf der gleichen Ebene befindet sich eine schattige Außenterrasse mit herrlichem Blick auf die Küste über die Ria Formosa.
Im Erdgeschoss führt ein schattiger Innenhof zum großen privaten Pool, der von großen Terrassen umgeben ist.

We absolutely loved this property! The villa was spacious and beautifully decorated, the gardens peaceful, the view inspirational, the pool huge and refreshing and the property owner on site was so lovely, kind and helpful. A beautiful casa

Krysia was the perfect host and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was great. The house is very well equipped and really felt very homely. The pool and grounds are very beautiful, with stunning views. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous stay in a wonderful place with incredible hosts

We had a wonderful stay at the property. Ours hosts Krysia and Russell were incredibly helpful, even putting out our washing when it had finished in the machine. The property was exactly as described in a lovley quiet area with lovely views. Would recommend anyone to stay here and definitely make sure you hire a car

Wonderful holiday

This villa is perfect for old and young alike. We felt comfortable and at home as soon as we arrived. The house is spacious with everything you need. The pool, the views, the beautiful plants and the amazing sunsets were stunning. Even without a car we managed to get out and about. 5 days weren't enough, we didn't want to leave.

Private, spacious getaway

Despite the weather we had a lovely stay, due to the comfy living area and heating system. Our host provided excellent care combined with privacy. Contrary to earlier reviews the oven worked fine. The kitchen was very well equipped for self catering which was easy to do thanks to the delicious local products.

Just perfect!

A beautiful villa and surroundings and equipped with everything needed for an amazing holiday! Krysia & Russell were fantastic hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly recommended for a quiet and relaxing break but close enough to all the amenities and less than half an hour away from the airport although you’d never know! Thank you so much!

We had a pleasant relaxing break at this beautiful property. It has lovely homely feel with breathtaking views and was perfect for our needs. Krysia was the perfect host and an excellent source for local information. We have stayed in this area before and would not hesitate to return to this property. Casa do Loureiro was lovely house.

Casa do Loureiro was in a beautiful area near St Barbara de Nexe. The location of the house was excellent as we were near Faro, Almancil, loule and many more other destinations. The house had everything we needed and our hosts krysia and her husband were terrific. If we needed anything they were there to assist us. The views were beautiful and my family and i had a great holiday. The pool area was great with plenty of lilos and the view from there was lovely. Would go back.

Lovely quiet property with fabulous pool, sunset views.

We loved our stay in this quiet self-contained villa. It is well-furnished, has good air-con, and is in a quiet village away from the hustle of the coastline. The best part was the stunning large private pool, and if the owner used it, we never saw him. The unit has an upper terrace with gorgeous views over the valley. Lots of useful amenities like a washing machine, well-equipped kitchen, and many sun umbrellas and loungers. A car is essential as you are about 15 minutes from the Faro airport. The village has a grocery store with all the basics. It was a good base for exploring, and it was very quiet, except for the occasional barking dog across the valley. Perfect for a couple. We will remember it as a little bit of paradise.

Absolutely fantastic!

This holiday rental is a beautiful gem hidden away, but within easy reach of local amenities. Although Krysia, the host, lives next door on site, she is the perfect hostess and you are left to enjoy your holiday without intrusion. She is also extremely kind and helpful should you have any questions (such as how to wrap a large oversized metal tree of life for transport! We got it home, Krysia!!). We did not hire a car but had no real issues using the Uber app to order taxis. Although 15 mins from Faro there is no plane noise. Highly recommend this as a place to stay. We are already saving up, to return again 🙂

Splendid holidays here

We spend some lovely days with the family at this Casa. The surroundings in the hills are quiet and the view is gorgeous. Eastern and western Algarve are well in reach with a car (ca 45 min each to Spanish border and Portimao). Ride to the closest beaches is ca. 20-30 min by car. The interior of the house was clean and there is all you need and even more (e.g. French press, coffee machine, juice press, TV, washing machine, microwave, gas hob + oven, vac cleaner, mixer, etc., all working well). Cleaning and new towels were offered after 1 week. A grill is also available outside. The pool is very nice and for private use only. Loungers and umbrellas are available and there is a table to have some refreshments. The host is very friendly and kindly offered help for everything needed for a family with small children, such as a highchair and cot, even a further (lower) bed was made available on the day of arrival. All in all, we fully recommend a stay at this location.

Charming Rural Portuguese Hideaway

We loved our stay in Casa Loueira, it was much better in real life than the photos suggested, and we expected it to be really nice! Beautiful courtyard when you arrive in front of the house, with an old bench, a sundial and a big fig tree in the middle, so pretty and welcoming, and inside we were delighted with every room, and every little terrace with seating, there are lots of places to relax, and a lovely upstairs terrace with dining table and chairs near the kitchen with trees and lovely views all round. The casa was furnished simply and beautifully, with lovely tiles, wall hangings and rugs everywhere, very spacious and old wooden shutters on all the windows. Bathrooms and showers were great, and the living room is very comfortable and there is a great big smart TV with netflix etc available to sign in to. There is a little stone path down to the large lovely pool with fantastic views to the sea over the hills, it is very clean and there are loungers and parasols, and it is nice and private in the pool and beside it. We loved it, and definitely want to come back, it is so peaceful and laid back, and we also loved Fatcat who kept us company and amused us by doing somersaults when stroked. We enjoyed the outdoor pool table and bbq and beds are comfy. We love the area, we have stayed nearby often, so know where to go to eat, there are nice restaurants nearby. The local people are friendly and helpful. Thanks so much Krysia, we would love to come back.

Ein wunderschönes Anwesen

Wir hatten einen schönen Urlaub, alles war wie beschrieben und unsere Vermieterin hat, ohne im Geringsten aufdringlich zu sein, gezeigt, dass sie sehr daran interessiert war, dass wir alles haben, was wir brauchen. Aussenbereich und Haus sind gepflegt und liebevoll gestaltet und man entdeckt jeden Tag etwasNeues. Der einzige Grund, aus dem ich keine volle Punktzahl gebe, ist der sehr muffige Geruch im Haus, den wir sofort in allen Kleidern hatten. Aber das ist wahrscheinlich bei alten Häusern nicht anders möglich.

Der Pool ist traumhaft …

… und macht die Ausstattung des Hauses ein bisschen wett. Bäder und Küche sind schätzungsweise aus den 80ern oder 90ern. Keine Spülmaschine, kein funktionsfähiger Backofen, keine geeignete Küchenbeleuchtung. Alles very basic, auch die Ausstattung. Aber der Pool ist ein Traum, das Grundstück sehr weitläufig. Hier hat man wirklich seine Ruhe. Die Lage zum Flughafen Faro und zu diversen Stränden ist großartig. Nach einer Renovierung kommen wir sehr gerne wieder ;-)

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus

Unsere Erwartungen vom Haus wurden übertroffen. Ein sehr schönes Haus mit großem Pool, authentisch und gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Lage und die Aussicht sind perfekt. Im Haus findet man alles was man braucht. Alles ist sauber und unaufdringlich organisiert. Übergabe und Rückgabe waren völlig unkompliziert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Algarve mit Privatsphäre für Geniesser...

Perfektes Anwesen mit Pool, Terrasse und Garten. Gastgeber Krysia und Russell sind immer für Anliegen erreichbar und kümmern sich diskret um alle Belange. In Fahrdistanz befinden sich zBsp. Faro oder Loule, im Ort Barbara de Nexe hat es ebenfalls alles für den täglichen Bedarf. Ein Auto ist unverzichtbar. Einige gute Restaurants befinden sich in wenigen Fahrminuten Distanz. Wir werden wieder kommen.
