Our ground floor "easy access" suite is ideal for anyone who wants to avoid stairs yet be in the body of the cottage. The Iona bedroom with its two single beds (or made into one large double) has the best incredibly soft and cosy mattresses we could find, shutters on the windows and a fireplace!

Complete with your own sitting room/breakfast room, just the perfect setting for a countryside break.

These bright rooms, each with two windows overlooking the rear garden and the Deer Park completes with a large en-suite shower room.

A Visit Scotland 4* award winning bed and breakfast located right next to many "OUTLANDER" filming locations and only a short walk from "LALLYBROCH". We can offer our guests private walking tours from the cottage to Hopetoun House, Abercorn Church, Midhope Castle and Blackness Castle.

We are a simple 15 minute drive from EDINBURGH AIRPORT and to the EDINBURGH TRAM SYSTEM for easy and quick access into the city centre.

Parkhead House offers unique overnight cottage stays with the added benefit of welcoming hosts and a great Scottish breakfast.

This former Gamekeepers cottage is set on the edge of the idyllic Deer Park at the heart of Hopetoun and is just a short walk from Hopetoun House and Lallybroch itself.

We offer one, one-bedroom suite on the ground floor and one, two-bedroom suite on the 1st floor. All bedrooms are en-suite with wonderful views over wooded parkland northwards to the river Forth and Fife.

Each bedroom is individual yet beautifully appointed with the highest standard of furnishings and can be booked for a stay of one night or for a stay as long as you require.

Being only 15 minutes from Edinburgh Airport and 10 minutes from either Dalmeny or Linlithgow railway stations this makes Parkhead House a relaxed place to stay but still close to both Edinburgh and Glasgow.

We offer private accommodation, freedom and flexibility combined with the welcome of a traditional bed and breakfast so those travelling with children, enjoying the great outdoors or bringing the family pet can relax knowing you have your own private sitting room/breakfast room during your stay.

Each suite has tea/coffee making facilities, Free View TV, FREE Wi-Fi, radio alarm, hairdryer, towels, bathrobes and toiletries.

Our breakfasts are made using the best local organic produce supplied where possible by the Hopetoun Farm Shop and Estate.

We now offer wi-fi throughout the cottage and garden which you can use for free.
