Excellent villa and a great pool. Our host Richard was helpful especially if you need a lift from the airport but he is always available if you have questions.The local beach is nice and walkable but it's further away that expected, a good 30mins.The Bar & Grill restaurant next to the local Spar shop is only 10mins walk and the food and atmosphere is brilliant.Strongly recommend visiting Mogan.

We were 10 persons, aged from 12 to 78. It all worked very well. The kitchen is well equipped and big enough for 2-3 persons to work together. Especially nice to have was the extra refrigerator placed in a closet.We had three rental cars, which was perfect. Parking is close by. We had almost all our meals at the villa, and did our shopping at Mercadona. So I think you have to have at least one car, as you have to shop daily for 10-12 persons.There are a stunning view from the villa over the sea.Apart from 2-3 steps at the entrance, the villa is suitable for a person with reduced mobility, staying on the ground floor.The villa is equipped with electronic codelocks, which was very convenient.Summary: great stay.

The host, Richard, was very welcoming but there was nothing in the villa when we arrived, not even any milk and a tea bag. Neither were there any cleaning materials. Also, pay attention to the terms and conditions - which we didn’t - it’s extra if you want cleaners during your stay. Overall, we had a very nice time but to be honest the ‘amazing’ villa has seen better days, particularly the kitchen where the fridge freezer looks as though it might topple forward and a very noisy washing machine lives. Best to use it when you’re out!! The bbq is inadequate for even a half full house but all things that can be easily rectified for a few euros and should be at the cost of rental.

Villa Lucia

Fantastic two weeks in Tauro, Gran Canaria. Viila is superb, easliy accomdated our 2 family party. Puerto Rico within easy reach with beaches, night life and bars, also Puerto Mogan, with its picturesque old town is 10mins away by taxi. Communication with host is first class so all in all a 5 star experience.

Stunning week in Tauro

A fantastic property for a quiet family stay - lots of room for 5 adults (it would feel cramped with more than 1 family). Tauro is a very quiet area and close to all amenities. The villa is gorgeous, especially the pool area. The kitchen is poorly equipped and needs more.

Perfect Villa for extended family

We were a group of 6 adults and 4 children and this villa suited us perfectly. Plenty of space.We hired a car and there is ample on street parking near the villa. Heated pool was a massive hit and the kids spent hours playing in it. Only issue is the heat pump is near the pool and main outside area so the full noise does get irritating.Would recommend to family and friends.

Had a wonderful week at Villa Lucia with the whole family. There plenty of room for three families. The tables were large enough for us all to eat together and were ample good quality sun-loungers. The villa had everything we wanted including a beautiful heated pool. The location was very central and easily accessed. I would recomend this villa to anybody.

Great family space

It is a beautiful villa, exactly like the pictures. Gorgeous views and a great set up for some quality family time. I appreciated our stay here very much. Very relaxing and away from the tourist hot spots, which I found lovley. You for sure need a car, we rented from the airport. As a vacation rental (and in comparison to others and factoring the price) I expected a few more supplies, I had to purchase hand soap, diswasher soap, toliet paper, sugar- no supplies here at all. Richard the welcome host was great and super easy to communicate with as was the agency prior.

Nice Holiday

We have had a lovely stay at Villa Lucia. The house was nice, but the weather was very hot and only 3 of the bedrooms had aircon. So we couldn´t sleep in the 2 other bedrooms because of the temperature. It was a very nice and quiet area. I think next time we will find a house in a walking distance from the city. We had to use the car for shopping etc.

It has never been necessary due to the exceptional climate in Tauro, but after the most significant heatwave in the Canary Islands in the last 60 years, we have coordinated with the technicians to install AC in the remaining two bedrooms. This way, Villa Lucía will have air conditioning in all the bedrooms and the living/dining room. We look forward to seeing you again soon at Villa Lucía with the best weather in Gran Canaria

21st and 60th celebrations

The property itself was spacious and meant that multiple sets of families could live well together, whilst also having their own private space. The pool was lovely and we enjoyed having different places to spend time e.g the upstairs terrace, the dining space outside etc. In all honesty, whilst the property itself was deemed as luxury, we would not classify this level of finish as luxury, it is clear that the villa used to be of a high standard however it is now quite tired, with several areas of modernisation needed as well as scuffs to walls, windows that leaked etc. This did not impede our stay but it is true to say that the photographs advertising the property were clearly from an earlier time, when it was at its peak.

Just perfect

What can i say, i was nervous on arrival as i had been the one to book the trip to this villa for a group of very good friends. I neednt have worried !! From the first step through the garden gate it was obvious this beautiful villa was JUST PERFECT. Every room met our needs wondefully. The outside space is where we spent all of our time, it was fabulous and the pool is fantastic. Ricardo was our point of contact and we found him extremely helpful and informative. We had regular taxis into Puerto Rico which averaged around €6.50 one way, not too costly when a few of you share. Some building work going on by the villa but it never bothered us just made us more inquisitive. A short walk down the hill will take you to the Spar shop, and to Tauro beach. The whole process of booking ,checking in and staying at this beautiful villa was seamless. I would highly recommend this beautiful villa for family groups its "JUST PERFECT "

Only aircondition i 3 out of 5 bedrooms • The door to one of the bedrooms without air conditioning, creaks so much when you use it, that it must be open all night otherwise you wake up the whole house! • Several of the plastic chairs on the terrace are broken in the back, so you hardly dare to lean back! • Air conditioning runs with water from the 1st floor down into the area where you sit and eat, not very cozy or delicious! • The pool was nice and clean when we arrived, and we were told that it would be cleaned again on Wednesday. However, that didn’t happen, and we had to avoid going to the pool on Saturday morning as it was so disgusting with animals and so on. This was even though there was cover for every evening and when we were on an all-day trip. • The door from the kitchen to the terrace cannot be kept closed without locking it – which means you cannot use it ☹ • The door on the 1st floor to the large room with its own toilet, opens alle the time and slams a lot – very uncomfortable at nights! • The cupboard doors to the toilet in the same room scrape when you open them! • The power goes off in the whole house, when you use the oven and 2 hobs at the same time, very small and vey difficult to cook for 10 people with such conditions! • Equipment in the kitchen is insufficient when the are 10 people. We had to e.g., go out and buy wine glasses so that there was enough for the whole family ☹ (We left them for the next guests) – knives are so bad that you have to fight

Die Villa mit Pool und Garten war sehr schön.

Wir sind von Antonio sehr nett in Empfang genommen worden.In der Villa hat alles gepasst bis auf die Badezimmer.Es sind 4 Badezimmer angegeben aber es sind effektiv nur 3 Badezimmer. Wir waren acht Erwachsene und da hat das eine Badezimmer schon gefehlt. Aber ansonsten kann man die Villa nur weiterempfehlen. Die Lage der Ausblick und die Größe vom Haus einfach toll☺ liebe Grüße aus Österreich Anna-Maria😉

Vi hade en fantastisk julvecka i denna härliga villa. Området är lugnt med fina omgivningar, nära till berg, golf och stränder. Det finns en trevlig restaurang och affär nära, annars kan man ta en promenad på ca 45 min till Puerto Rico (eller en billig taxi). Värden Ricardo är den bästa! Glad, snäll och hjälpsam.

Otroligt fint ställe! Vi var 12 personer från 5år-58år som delade boende under en vecka. Poolen var varm och det fanns gott om solstolar. Vi hade en supermarket väldet nära boendet och en fin led ner till stranden. Vi hyrde 3st bilar vid flygplatsen och det fanns gott om parkeringar utanför huset. Det tog ca 4min med bil att åka till köpcentrat med massor av affärer och restauranger.

Prachtige, rustig gelegen villa met mooi uitzicht.

Compleet ingerichte villa, mooi gelegen in het Zuid-West gedeelte van het eiland. Fijn zwembad en door aantal slaapkamers en badkamers zeer geschikt voor een familievakantie. In de omgeving mooie stranden en plaatsjes. Een huurauto maakt alles gemakkelijk te bereiken.

Great place for family holiday

Lovely place for family holiday, you do need a car if want to get out and about a lot, although cabs are really cheap. Our greeting with Richard was easy handover & he was so wonderful to run us to nearest supermarket for essentials & even offered to do trips if we wanted to see more of island. Villa is as pictures, could do with a little updating / TLC but reliant on renters also taking care of it. All amenities you could wish for. Nice tauro grill just down the hill - lovely food & entertainment

I would have given 5stars overall but the lack of amenities around the area is the only reason I didn't. Its clear to see that some places have closed due to covid etc so we hired a car and got around that way, I would definitely go again and recommend this villa to anyone

Amazing

We stayed for 2 weeks in August and the villa was amazing, we couldn’t fault it. Had everything we needed. Taxis were cheap enough to get around. Spa was close for all the essentials, we did go Dinos in Puerto Rico for a big shop and got a taxi back. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.

It is a wonderful villa with spectacular sea views and all the amenities with a private and heated saltwater pool.Located in a privileged place very quietly and very close to the beach and golf course. I love the weather of Tauro, always sunny and private pool is great. We recommend you stay because I'm sure you'll be impressed with the villa and its location and weather. You will want to repeat.

It is a luxurious villa. The house is very large and comfortable and you can enjoy having a barbecue while you see the ships at sea. This house has the best views in Tauro and it is unique. You will not see another villa as wonderful as this in Gran Canaria. The beach and the golf course are just minutes away.
