Here you can reach Monsummano Alto very easily.

To explain, you have to drive from Monsummano Terme on an uphill road for about 2 kilometers.

This road is framed by thick and beautiful vegetation.

Once you have almost reached the top, at the gates of the village, you are rewarded with a breathtaking landscape on the Valdinievole and on six of the ten provinces of Tuscany.

Here stands the old pentagonal watchover.
Immediately after going past the tower you are in the perimeter of the old fortified walls.

Furthermore on the right a beautiful lookout is the ideal observation point.

The landscape and the life of the cities are just below us, but nevertheless their noise does not come up here, like in an old silent film, giving us an atmosphere of almost total relaxation.
From there, the road becomes a stone path, exactly as it was in the thirteenth century.

Through a last straight uphill stretch – we will reach Piazza Castello in the small village square (where you can park the car) and where the Church of San Niccolao, in Roman-Gothic style, is located.

Not to be missed:
Furthermore on the right of the church you can find the ancient “Foresteria”, now converted into the “La Foresteria” Restaurant .

On the right side of the church there is also a stone arch, which invites you to walk through – on foot – to go to the Eastern part of the village.

Beyond the arch you will find the entrance to La Foresteria Restaurant, and 50 meters straight ahead, you will find the Villa.

Further on, the path begins to descend, until you reach the opposite side of the ancient village, of which some parts of the walls remain and the well known Arco, the so-called “La Porticciola”.

In addition to this: outstanding View on the panorama!

Finally awaken your senses in a unique place which you would not expect: have a look at the landscape that, overhanging under your eyes, sweeps far away to the mountains beyond which is the sea.

City Tax to be paid at the check-in: € 0,75 per person for the first 7 days excluded children up 12 years old.

Heating GPL on consumption (€1 per liter)
Air conditioning and heating consumption depend on various elements:
1) outside temperature
2) the temperature you set inside
3) doors or windows opened when you are not in the villa.

Swimming pool Opening 12 April, closing 11 October
Swimming pool heated on request.

Hire car with driver: cost on request according to time and destination
Baby sitter € 12 per hour
