Summary:
Arguably the best location to stay in York - Woodsmill Quay is a beautiful, luxury apartment sat one floor up, on York's central River Ouse with balcony overlooking the river. A peaceful and relaxing view of the boats and the ducks from your balcony yet you are just a few minutes walk into the heart of York.
Recently renovated to a high standard, the stylish apartment has a hallway, open-plan living/dining/kitchen, beautiful bathroom and one light and bright double bedroom.
The Space:
Arguably the best location to stay in York - Woodsmill Quay is a beautiful, luxury apartment sat one floor up, on York's central River Ouse. A peaceful and relaxing view of the boats and the ducks from your balcony yet you are just a few minutes walk into the heart of York.
Recently renovated to a high standard, the apartment has a hallway, open-plan living/dining/kitchen, bathroom and one double bedroom. The sofa in the living area can pull out into a double bed, (extra people on request, please ask.)
The apartment is bright and airy, with a really cosy and modern feel. The private balcony accessed from the living room over looks the river with space to take in the views as the boats go by. There is a small table and chairs to sit and enjoy the view. There is a Smart TV in the living room with Netflix (need your own account!) and spotlighting.
The fully fitted Kitchen has a washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, microwave, oven and hob.
The ultra-modern bathroom has a large shower with overhead rain shower head, toilet, sink and backlit mirror.
We provide hand soaps, 2 dishwasher tablets, sponges and hand gel for use inside the apartment. There is also a welcome bowl provided with tea, coffee milk and sugar for you.
There is a lift in the building should you wish to use it.
The central location makes it perfect to see all the attractions York has to offer.
We are able to offer you a private gated free car parking space, in the garage beneath the apartment. Photos in Gallery.
The height of the garage at the tallest point is 1.75m and the width is 2.4m and 5.2m in length.
If your car is larger than these restrictions sadly we cannot offer an alternative. There are car parks around the area if you need any help please send us a message and we can recommend them. Nunnery Lane we find is the cheapest. NCP Tanner Row is our favourite, multi-storey and is about £22 per 24 hours booked on the app and £25 on the day.
Please also note that although not a common occurrence if the river is flooded throughout your stay there will be no access to the garage parking. On this occasion you would be responsible for arranging your own parking and for your vehicle, we cannot be held responsible for any situation regarding your vehicle or the river flooding.
Guest Access:
Enter with the special key fob that we provide you. Nice and easy! There is a lift/elevator in the building if needed. The stairs are to your left once you have entered through the hall.
The Neighborhood:
Many cafe's, restaurants, pubs and shops are within 30 seconds or less! The cock and bottle pub is as you come out of the doors, to the left. The fantastic Enoteca Italian restaurant just on the end of the street, The Marrakesh restaurant, Forty Five the Vinyl Cafe, Tank and Paddle pub, just to name a few.
Getting Around:
Walkable to York train station, and the heart of the City is just a couple of minutes walk!

The height of the garage at the tallest point is 1.75m and the width is 2.2m and 4.5m in length.
