As ‘cute as pie’, recently revamped in anticipation of your stay, the sleeps 6 (+3) Lo Squero comprises 3 entirely separate apartments* offering comfort, a top location and quiet elegance all the way.



Situated on a peaceful Dorsoduro calle leading to the narrow Rio de Toresele canal where once there stood a squero (boatyard) many, many moons ago, each charming Lo Squero apartment promises a perfect base in Venice for couples, solo travellers and groups of up to 9 when booked as a whole.



‘Hidden in plain sight’ just moments from Campo San Vio**, the Peggy Guggenheim Collection and the dazzling Zattere promenade and boasting Wi-Fi connection and a washing machine in each, the fully air-conditioned apartments are spread over 3 floors of the property (one per level) and include:

Newly refurbished (2022) with Italian flair and finesse and accessed via a main entrance doorway on the calle shared with Lo Squero 2 just below, this beautifully cosy apartment sleeps 2 (+1) and comprises:



Stairs up to the apartment entrance and a further internal staircase leading up and into a well-equipped kitchen, which in turn leads into…



A bright, cheerful and tastefully furnished south and west-facing sitting/dining room strikingly decorated in York’s ‘Blue and Blossom Chinoserie’ wallpaper and home to a beamed and vaulted ceiling overhead, warm wooden flooring underfoot, a smart single blue velvet sofa bed for lounging, and dining table seating 4… not forgetting a dainty little balcony overlooking the courtyard below



A restful master bedroom freshly enrobed in caffè latte / café au lait colours with a double bed that can be split into twins at your request

A Venetian casetta that’s sure to make you smile, just tucked away on Dorsoduro’s ‘Museum Mile’…



A short amble to the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, the iconic Church of the Salute, the Accademia Galleries and Bridge (and the VOV office!), the Palazzo Cini Gallery, plus the Punta Della Dogana Center of Contemporary Art, and close to a variety of fine eating places and bars including Ai Gondolieri and Ristorante Riviera for fine dining, and Corner Pub, Osteria Al Squero and Cantinone Gia Schiavi for cicheti and spritz.





An easy waterside stroll to 2 Conad supermarkets – one at the western end of the Zattere and a smaller one closer to home at Zattere Spirito Santo – and to 4 vaporetto (water bus) stops – Zattere Spirito Santo, Zattere, Salute and Accademia – for travel around the city (note that St. Mark’s Square can be reached by vaporetto from Salute in under 5 minutes on Line 1!)



Also close to the ‘traghetto’ at Calle Lanza/Calle del Traghetto S. Gregorio which, during operating hours, ferries passengers by gondola across the Grand Canal to the district of San Marco, and within easy reach of the Alilaguna boat stop connecting the Zattere to Venice's Marco Polo Airport.



For arrivals between 8.00 p.m. and midnight there is an additional cost for "late arrival" of Euro 50, to be paid in cash upon arrival. We organize arrivals between midnight and one o'clock with an additional cost of Euro 100, after this time we reserve the right to accept the customer always with a supplement to be quantified according to the time of arrival.



Beds will be arranged as either doubles or twins as shown in the photos. The possibility of turning a double bed into twins or vice versa can be found in the description and must be requested at least 7 days before arrival.
