Island View Cottage is a detached, stone-built cottage in the hamlet of High Hauxley, near amble in Northumberland. The cottage has three bedrooms; a double, twin and single, together sleeping five guests. There is also a family bathroom with shower over bath, a cloakroom, a kitchen and a living/dining room with an electric fire. Outside there is off-road parking for one car, a garage with bike storage, a front lawn with furniture and an enclosed back garden with a lawn. Island View Cottage is a lovely family-friendly property for a Northumberland holiday. Note: The property is located next to and shares a drive with the owner's home.

Less than two miles away is the small town and fishing port of Amble, which sits at the mouth of the River Coquet and offers a yachting marina, a harbour and fishing pier, as well as sandy beaches and stunning coastal walks. Just a mile south of Amble is Coquet Island, where you can enjoy a boat trip around the island with its RSPB reserve, home to a large population of terns, puffins, eider ducks and seals. The coastal villages of Alnmouth and Craster are only a short drive away, whilst picturesque Warkworth and Alnwick are within easy reach.
