perfect house totally recommend !

We had a wonderful stay here , house has everything you could ever need and it was very clean and comfortable You do need a sat nav to find it and it was lovely to be met on arrival with a table full of greek food after a long day travelling ... many thanks to popi , manuel and family for all their wonderful hospitality and treats . We wouldnt hesitate to recommend this villa to friends and would stay again

Perfect place for our family

Valia and her family personally welcomed us to their home and checked in to see if we needed anything. The house is roomy, beautiful and spotless. Unfortunately, there is so much to do and see on the wondrous island we were hardly ever there. Valia and her family represent the people of Crete with warmth and care that we found all over the island.

Great 5vstars, except for Sat Nav instructions lead you into fields abd untarnished roads, they need updating and dont use Best Cars at airport their vehicle was poorly maintained and underpowered.

A peaceful and refreshing place to stay

We decided to visit Crete because of its History and archaeological remains, but we travelled with children and we needed a house with swimmming pool not far from the main interesting places. Villa Demokritos was our choice... and it was perfect! The house was clean, luminous, modern and with all the basics we need. The wifi was perfect for everyone and the family responsible of the Villa was very kind indeed, They welcomed us with some food and fresh fruit from their property, and helped us with every single detail. We were in love with the places and we recommend it to everyone!

Slightly Disappointing

Lovely spacious accommodation in a great location with beautiful views, however slightly let down by facilities in Villa, found beds to be very uncomfortable (very firm) impacting on our sleep, fixtures and fittings budget for a luxury Villa and quite minimal. Unfortunately would not stay again due to beds, overall did not live up to our expectations

Peaceful and relaxing stay. Outside space was perfect

The outside space was perfect, we used the pool and Bbq most days. The beds were firm and comfortable but we like firm matresses. The downstairs bathroom which is for the double room was disappointing. Not a luxury bathroom that you would expect from a 3 bed villa. The kitchen and lounge was basic but had everything needed. Location is very peaceful but when we booked originally the listing said there was a taverna on site but this had closed which meant a 20 - 30 minute drive to go out for dinner. Car is essential for this villa. Overall though we had an amazing relaxing holiday

Tolles Ferienhaus in abgeschiedener Lage

Das Haus hat für uns als Gruppe mit 7 Personen genügend Raum gehabt. Der Außenbereich ist sehr schön, mit Pool (auch mit Becken für Kleinkinder), gepflegter Rasen und kleiner Garten. In der Nachbarschaft gibt es Schafe und Ziegen, was für Kinder auch ein kurzweiliger Ausflug ist. Uns hat es dort an nichts gefehlt und wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Haus.

Schönes Haus für kleine Gruppen

Wir waren zwei Familien, die Ruhe und Erholung im Urlaub gesucht haben. Das etwas abgeschiedene Haus mit eigenem Pool, tollem Garten zum Ball spielen und Rückzugsmöglichkeiten für Pubertierende erfüllte diese Anforderungen voll und ganz. Es wirkte auf den Bildern etwas größer und neuer, aber das störte nicht. Wir hatten letztlich alles was wir brauchten und die Agentur war immer erreichbar. Unser Highlight war der Pool mit unterschiedlichen Wassertiefen mit Absperrungen, so dass auch die kleinsten mitplanschen konnten. Können das Haus empfehlen!

Entspannung pur

Wir haben in der Unterkunft mit zwei Familien (4 Erwachsene, 3 Kinder) gewohnt und können jene uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Die Gastgeber waren äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es lief alles sehr unkompliziert und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Gerne wieder!

Wunderschön und idyllisch

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in der Dimokritos Villa. Alles ist genau so wie auf den Fotos vorzufinden! Die Nachbar Villen sind weit genug entfernt, man fühlt sich völlig frei und wohl. Der Besitzer kümmert sich sehr herzlich um alles. Die Küche war bestens ausgestattet, wir haben viel gekocht und nichts hat gefehlt. Letztlich sind der Pool, die Terrasse, beide Balkone und die Aussicht einfach ein Traum! Nichts ist besser, als so ein Pool nur für sich allein. Einzig die Anfahrt war für uns schwierig, da unser Navi uns immer wieder ins Nirgendwo geleitet hat. Es ist schon recht abgelegen, aber dafür wundervoll idyllisch! Im Zweifel gebt lieber folgendes benachbartes Haus in Google ein: „Oikos - your cretan House“. So haben wir es dann immer gut gefunden.

Toller Urlaub!

Wir waren mit dem Ferienhaus und dem Grundstück sehr zufrieden. Alles war sauber und ordentlich. Zur Ankunft waren sogar ein kleines Frühstück und ausreichend Wasser im Kühlschrank. Die Ansprechpartner waren sehr nett und erfüllten unsere Wünsche sofort. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ein schöner erholsamer Aufenthalt

Großartig!

Wir waren mit unseren Kindern (6 Monate und 2 Jahre) für 10 Tage im Oktober in der Villa. Es war einfach toll. Die Lage ist sehr idyllisch zwischen Olivenhainen mit Blick auf das Meer am Horizont. Es ist super ruhig und nur Schafe und Ziegen zu hören. Die Abende auf der Hollywoodschaukel waren fantastisch. Mit dem Auto ist sowohl der nächste Supermarkt als auch der Strand gut erreichbar. Panormos ist ein nettes, kleines Städtchen zum Bummeln und Essen gehen. Das Haus war super sauber. Man hätte vom Boden essen können. Die Einrichtung ist sehr neu, geschmackvoll und pragmatisch. Vom Bügeleisen bis zum Föhn ist alles da. Moskitonetze an allen Türen. Die Betten sind bequem und es gab mehr als genug Handtücher, um mit jeder Art Wasser Spaß zu haben. Die Vermieter sind die nettesten, die wir je kennen gelernt haben. Zum Empfang gab es leckere, selbst gemachte Spezialitäten und alles für ein Abendessen. Es wurde während unseres Aufenthaltes einmal das komplette Haus geputzt und die Laken gewechselt. Der Pool ist schön erfrischend, sehr sauber und für Kinder super geeignet, weil ein Teil so flach ist, dass auch unsere 2jährige laufen konnte. Der Kontakt mit der Verwalterin Valia war sehr freundlich und kompetent. Wir sind absolut begeistert von Haus, Vermieter und Verwalterin. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hinfahren und empfehlen die Unterkunft wärmstens. Katja P.

Ein perfekter Urlaub dank super Haus und tollen Gastgebern

Wir waren vom 24.07.2016-02.08.2016 in Haus Nr 3 und hatten einen perfekten Urlaub. Das Haus ist modern ausgestattet und sauber. Da wir erst die Zweiten Mieter waren, war so gut wie alles neu. Der Pool ist ausreichend groß und tief. Der Vermieter kam einmal zum Rasenmähen und hat ab und zu früh morgens den Pool gereinigt. Ansonsten haben wir nicht viel von Ihm oder den anderen Nachbarn mitbekommen. Ich würde dieses Haus jederzeit wieder buchen! Vielen Dank

Fantastisch!

We hebben genoten van een heerlijke vakantie! Rustige landelijke locatie. Het huis was van alle gemakken voorzien en heerlijk om te verblijven bij het zwembad. Het ontbrak werkelijk aan niets wat ons betreft. Strand Spilies Beach en supermarkten in het dorp op 10 minuten afstand met de auto. Wij hadden er nog wel twee weken aan willen plakken!

We Reccomend this villa

The correspondence was superb right from the start and during the stay. Villa was immaculate and comfortable with everything you need. The pool was lovely. We were sent directions to the villa and told not to follow the GPS, but after a late flight we followed the GPS ..... Dont do this, the road is horrendous, go the extra distance . Everyone in crete was very friendly. We have had a great time

Lovely!

Really lovely villa, the owners were ever so kind and accommodating, came baring food when we arrived which was lovely and greatfully received. Is rather rural so definitely need a car but is close to quite a few different great areas to visit.

excellentes vacances

Notre location était idéalement située ,au calme ,avec une vue imprenable tout en étant proche de réthymnon.La maison était spacieuse ,agréable ,la propreté irréprochable.L'accueil était parfait ,les personnes s'occupant de la location ont su être présents sans être envahissants.De petits cadeaux culinaires ont accompagnés notre arrivée ce qui était très appréciable .Bref un 20 sur 20 !!!

10/10 – Hervorragend

Wonderfully relaxing holiday

A wonderful relaxing two week holiday with excellent Cretan hospitality. Emmanuel and Popi were so very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us including fabulous food and wine during the stay. It’s got everything you need for a relaxing holiday and only 10 mins or so from Panormos which has a number good of restaurants. There is heaps to see and do locally but you will need a car to get out and about. Thoroughly recommend.

FABULOUS, QUIET, EVERYTHING YOU WANT

The villa and surroundings are really beautiful. Poppi and Emanuel are really generous and helpful. It is about 15mins drive from Reythmno and I would suggest you drive until the shell garage is on your left and turn right. You need a car to stay here. One of our best holidays ever really relaxing.
