Cottage am Pool 33 Willkommen im Poolside Paradise - Bleiben Sie eine Weile! Schritte von unserem Null-Eintritt Pool und Clubhaus? Teilweise Meerblick? Es wird nicht besser! Sie betreten dieses schöne 3 Schlafzimmer, 3. 5 Badezimmer Cottage durch die Küche, komplett ausgestattet mit Edelstahl Whirlpool Geräte mit einem Wasserfilter, zwei Arten von Kaffeemaschinen, und alle anderen Luxus von zu Hause! Eine gnädige Bar, mit Platz für vier Personen und ein überdimensionierter Esstisch mit Platz für 8 Personen finden Sie auf dem Weg zum Wohnbereich. Aus dem Wohnbereich ist ein weiterer Wohnraum! Die erste Etage abgeschirmte Veranda beherbergt die vollkommenen Liegemöbel, während die Terrasse einen Tisch mit Sitzgelegenheiten für 8 und Gasgrill enthält. Von der Veranda finden Sie das Master-Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad. In der ersten Etage befindet sich eine stapelbare Waschmaschine und Trockner und ein halbes Bad am Fuß der Treppe. Im zweiten Stock befinden sich zwei Gästezimmer: Ein Zimmer mit einem Queen-Size-Bett und das andere mit Doppel-Etagenbetten, beide mit eigenem Bad und Zugang zur oberen Veranda. Der zweite Stock hat einen TV-Raum perfekt für die Kinder, ausgestattet mit einer bequemen Couch, DVD-Player, hook up für Spielkonsole und eine Auswahl an Brettspielen. Dieses Cottage verfügt über eine Garage für 1 Auto und 4 Erwachsene, Fahrräder, Liegestühle und einen Sonnenschirm.
Dieses Haus ist der Grundriss "Osprey" und bietet Platz für 8 Personen.

VOR ORT MANAGEMENT

Zugang zum Strand: Die Fortsetzung des Jekyll Island Revetment Rehabilitation Project des Staates Georgia hat dazu geführt, dass der Zugang zum Strand entlang unserer Küste vorübergehend unterbrochen wurde. Es gibt immer noch Zugang zum Flutstrand, an der Landseite des Felsens. Wir empfehlen Driftwood Beach, der sich nördlich von The Cottages oder nur wenige Autominuten südlich des Great Dunes Park befindet.

I marked beach view as 3 stars. I don't recall if the listing indicated beach view. The condo is not on the beach. It is across the street from the beach. Your backyard view is the pool house and pool. However, you can see a little bit of the ocean in the distance. Otherwise, the condo is well maintained. It was great for our family of 7 and we enjoyed having the pool in the backyard! No real complaints from us! We would definitely book this location again!

Oceanside Cottage

This cottage was perfect for our group of 8. There was plenty of entertaining space and the bunk room was a big hit with the kids. It was close to driftwood beach and about a mile away from a public park with beautiful beaches!! There was beach access within walking distance but there was a huge berm of rocks so you had to use a crosswalk to get over them and could only access it during specific times due to high tide. We really enjoyed the public park and the beach there. We would definitely stay here again!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at the cottage. It was well equipped. I appreciate that there are bunk beds for kids. Overall a comfortable stay very close to the pool. The cleanliness was questionable, so I might try a different location next time that might be cleaner- particularly for the price. There is a lot of noise around the pool so be mindful of that. If people are at the pool very early or very late, the noise will travel into the home. It would be helpful to get a garage door opener.

Great House

Last weekend my family of 5 stayed here for our trip to Jekyll Island. Upon arrival the house was very clean and fully stocked with everything you would need. They even supply dove bath products in each of the bathrooms so you do not need to bring shampoo/conditioner or soap if you are just staying for the weekend. The weather didn’t really cooperate but that didn’t stop us from enjoying the lovely screened in porch and even visiting the heated pool a few times. The location of this unit is excellent if you want to use the pool or exercise room. Overall I would highly recommended this house to fellow vacationers.

2019 vacation

We stayed in Cottage 33 for a second year in a row absolutely love the Cottages. Noticed this year alot of scuff marks and hand prints on the walls. The glass dining room glass table medium-sized crack in it and it kept getting bigger doing the stay. But overall we look forward to renting the same College next year and many years to come.

Spring Break

We just rented this property for Spring Break. Great location & unit is very spacious. Only a few steps from the beach. There were a couple of issues during our stay—our oven didn’t work & a dining chair broke while my daughter was just sitting on it. The property manager did see to it that the issues were resolved. I also thought having to take out the trash kind of ruined the experience. I mean, we did take it out during our stay, but having to take out the last of it upon departure didn’t seem appropriate as they charge premium prices to stay there & a cleaning fee. Overall, I would recommend this property if you are planning a vacation to Jekyll Island.

Nice place!

We loved staying in this townhouse. It was very clean and modern. Very nice unit overlooking pool from the back patios. We enjoyed the nice pool and also played a few games of pool in the clubhouse. The only thing we were disappointed about was no bikes available in the rental as posted in the listing. I had spoken with the property manager the week before and was told they were being maintenanced and would hopefully be there on our arrival. We also had a visit from a maintenance man during the visit to change the lock and he said he would be returning them to the unit for us. We never saw the bikes. (Reason I gave 4 stars for accuracy on listing) Beach access was very close to this unit as well, however, the water was very dirty and the sand felt like mud when walking into the water. Overall we enjoyed staying at The Cottages and would stay there again if we return to Jekyll.

Maybe they should clean?!

Property was great. Service was lacking. Back screen door was broken and it locked us out of the property every time we went to the pool. We notified the manager and it wasn’t fixed the full 10 days we were there. They charged a substantial cleaning fee, but we had to ask for a broom and swept up so much black fur from a ‘no pets’ property it was ridiculous. We preferred a no pets property because my son has allergies, but maybe had they actually cleaned the place before we got there, he wouldn’t have been congested the whole time we were there. Master bath sink was plugged and never fixed. Previous guests left stains on the couch in the upstairs den and even after a professional cleaning, it didn’t look usable.

Beautiful home, great location, below average home supplies

This home is located in a beautiful neighborhood and is perfectly located right next to the pool, clubhouse/gym, and beach path. The home is beautifully decorated and the beds were very comfortable. Close enough to the ocean to hear the waves at high tide! Beach is only accessible during low tide.. water comes right up over the stairs a few hours before high tide, but there are many other beautiful beaches to drive to close by! The one big disappointment we had was the lack of supplies at this rental. We have stayed in many VRBO rentals over the years & this one had the least amount of supplies of any we’ve ever stayed in. There was a small bar of soap left in each bathroom but no soap dish to put it in, so we had to place them directly on the counters. There was only 1 small bath towel/washcloth per guest, no extra pillows or pillow cases, no extra blankets, & NO beach/pool towels, We ended up having to do laundry and wash towels twice a day while we were there! Guests who are driving to this home should pack any extra bedding they may need, towels, beach towels, and beach chairs. There were a couple very old canvas chairs in the garage with no bags to carry them in but no other beach chairs available. These types of things would make for such a better experience overall, especially for guest flying in who can’t pack items like these.

Could have been great……

Walls/baseboards were extremely dirty. Furniture stained and master sinks wouldn’t drain. I feel really bad for the owners, because there place would be incredibly nice if it weren’t so dirty.

Great Getaway

We had a very relaxing trip. Loved the history, beaches and the laid back lifestyle. Home was beautiful and the pool was amazing. Make sure you find your way to the "bubble cove" in the pool. It is awesome!

Beautiful location

The home we stayed it was beautiful and had all the kitchen items we needed for our stay. Everything was exactly as described in the listing. The property manager responded to a request and had a special item available for us upon check in.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit! The cottage is fully stocked and has plenty of room. We especially loved being able to watch the sunrise over the ocean from the king size bed! The location of the cottage being right next to the pool was perfect. The only thing we didn’t like was there were no curtains/shutters/blinds over the three big windows in the main living area which meant everyone at the pool could see into your living room, it especially bothered us at night.

Comfortable and clean

Enjoyed our stay and the location of the condo (close to pool). Bicycles and chairs for outdoor use appreciated! Although a small thing, would be nice to have some dish washing soap in kitchen. Pots don't always fit well in dishwasher.

Beautiful!

We arrived and it was just as pictured, we were able to have a large cook out and a family breakfast the next day! Our Vacation Rental was the life of the weekend! The 2nd floor balcony was everything at night the breeze and in the day time the shade and view of the kids swimming was awesome! I will rent again, this may be our new vacation spot!

Fantastic property!

This is a great property. All the beds are super comfortable, and the sheets are soft. All appliances, TVs, even the Keurig machine, are state-of-the-art. The decor is nice, beachy and clean without being cluttered. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans, dishware, glasses, etc, but make sure to bring your own dish soap, laundry soap, paper towels and toilet paper. The living room furniture is nice and comfortable, and we were appreciative for the large dining table so everyone could eat together. This condo is perfect for families! The bunk bed room, as well as the little dvd room, are great for kids and the decor is adorable. There were also some thoughtful touches, like a nice nightlight in the bunk room and a hair dryer under each bathroom cabinet. The location is a huge asset to this property. It’s very close to the pool and beach access, and you still have a good view of the ocean from the porch and balcony. The only critique I would mention is that it might have been nice to have some drapes to pull across the windows for room darkening. There are, however, beautiful plantation shutters on the windows, so privacy isn’t an issue, it’s just a personal preference. The bikes, beach chairs, and umbrella in the garage were a great addition. You can’t go wrong staying in this cottage!
