Nestled in the hamlet of Lestang beside the historic medieval Bastide of Eymet and yet just 20 minutes from the market town of Bergerac, you will find an old converted farmhouse surrounded by vineyards and sunflowers – this is La Colombiere. It’s a picture postcard French get away. It’s the perfect location for those wanting to escape and unwind for a few days but if you fancy fitting in some culture, history and sight seeing we have plenty to offer. What ever your travel schedule you’ll find what you are looking for at La Colombiere.

La Colombiere is appointed to a high standard and sleeps up to 22 people in our two gites. Our largest, La Grande Maison has a large and modern fully equipped kitchen; feature lounge with log burner and dining for up to 20; there are 6 spacious comfortable king size bedrooms all of which are en suite but with ample space for extra beds if required. Our ground floor bedroom has a walk in wet room making it ideal for those with limited mobility.
La Petite Maison is our delightful 2 bed cottage combining the best of ultra modern and French traditional. Downstairs you will find a modern fully equipped dining kitchen and a light airy comfy lounge with TV/DVD and log burner. On the first floor you will find a king size bedroom and a twin bedded room (which can be altered to a super-king bed if desired) and a shower room

Outside you will find peace and tranquility with stunning views across open farmland. Our superb and private 12 x 6 metre heated pool has a large sun terrace, shaded areas for those wishing to stay cool, a bar area and separate shower and WC.. Other terraced areas and verandas house BBQ’s and the large gardens make an ideal playground for the young and old alike.
We also have a games room with darts, a pool table and a 16 seat cinema room!
La Colombiere is set in gardens and parkland of two acres with a nature walk around the further 16 acres of farmed and wooded land at the bottom of the garden there’s more than enough room for you to escape the hassles of the day. Nearby, there are plenty of Chemin Rural and the quiet roads are ideal for those with bikes.
