Genießen Sie den privaten Garten mit großzügiger Terrasse und Hängematte oder entspannen Sie im offenen Wohnbereich mit 11 'Decken und freiliegenden Tannenbalken.

Das Haus befindet sich im historischen Torbay, mit einfachem Zugang zur Innenstadt von St. John's und der Flughafen und nur wenige Minuten zum beliebten Middle Cove Beach, wo man die Capelin Roll beobachten und ein abendliches Lagerfeuer genießen kann.

Dieses einstückige Hotel ist der perfekte Ort, um die reiche Kultur von Neufundland zu erleben und für den Outdoor-Enthusiasten, um die zahlreichen Angebote der Avalon Peninsula zu entdecken. Für diejenigen, die weiter nach Neufundland zu erkunden wollen, ist dieses Haus ca. 2 Stunden Fahrt zum Terra Nova Nationalpark und etwas mehr als 3 Stunden nach Gander.

Das Haus hat 4 Schlafzimmer. Der Meister hat ein Kingsize-Bett und ein eigenes Bad, das zweite und das dritte Schlafzimmer haben Doppelbetten, das vierte Schlafzimmer hat Einzelbetten. Zusätzliche Loft-Einzelbetten in allen drei Gästezimmern.

Brie is a fantastic host. Quickly answering questions. The property is in a great locations for hikers. Very beautiful, a little more isolated than other properties -which was great-it gave a true vacation feel to it. It was great o have laundry on site as we hiked everyday and used it often. There were 7 of us and we each had our own bed which was also great. Overall would highly recommend.

We will review our early check in policy as our small, local cleaning team needs to have adequate time to make sure the house is ready for the next guest's arrival and this may not have been the case in your situation. We will also look to limit the number of guests checking in as large groups make for additional cleaning. We are sorry to hear that the bathtub leaked and we promptly sent our caretaker over to the house to have a look. We have not had issues in the past and will do a thorough investigation of the tub and caulking and the plumbing to get to the bottom of the issue. The location of this property is amazing! It is perfectly located to overlook the water and feel surrounded by forest and nature while being close to everything. My family had a great stay while exploring and visiting family in town. Highly recommend this rental!

Big Red House was AMAZING

All we can say is WOW!! This house met all our needs during our stay! Clean, big and had all the amenities we needed plus more! And then there is the view from the master bedroom - nothing can beat it. Location was perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle of St Johns. Amazing stay in such a special spot!

My family stayed here for nearly two weeks. 2 adults and 5 kids ranging from 4-15. Everyone loved this house. It had everything we needed to feel right at home and is in the most beautiful location! Close to all the things you’d want - downtown St. John’s, hikes, and other day trips. We hope to be back next year!

I can not say enough good things about this house. Truly a special place. Kitchen is fully equipped for passionate cooks. The views are unbeatable. Watching the dog roll in over the water from so high up was so special. This was a friend trip for us but we kept commenting that we’d love to have our kids there. Will definitely stay again next year.

Home-away-from home for family visiting Newfoundland

This was the perfect spot for a group with kids: spacious, tons of windows, large property with tons of space for kiddos to play. Surrounded by trees and lulled to sleep by the sounds of the ocean - you could easily forget you're only 15 minutes from everything (downtown, Signal Hill, the Rooms, Bannerman Park, Avalon Mall, etc.) and minutes to beautiful Middle Cove Beach. Also: great accoustics for music/sing-a-longs.

The Big Red House was a 10/10

The BRH is set on a beautiful property with amazing views. Centrally located to beaches, swimming holes, restaurants, St. John’s, Signal Hill and much more. The house is easy to navigate with any direction you might need clearly displayed. The BRH has everything you could need; the hosts thought of it all! The big red house

The house was great, especially for the girls. They loved the play area, as well as the tunnels between the bunkbeds upstairs. I know there were a couple of questions when we had arrived, and the host was very responsive. We very much enjoyed the house and would like to stay there again next year!

What a great house and tremdous host. I went there with family as my Grandparents had grown up in the area. Brie wrote us ahead of time with suggested restaurants and the house was spotless and perfect ...what a super home and we were priviledged to be their guests. Big Red House a winner

We travelled to St. John’s for the first time and needed a large enough place to accommodate 8 adults. This place delivered! It is beautiful and spacious and has everything you would ever need. The location in Torbay did not prove to be a challenge to get into St. John’s for most of our activities and in fact showed us another beautiful part of Newfoundland. It is the perfect retreat after a full day of sightseeing and I highly recommend a rest in the hammock!

Big Red DREAM House!

We had such a wonderful stay!! Plenty of space to relax and play. Great facilities and well stocked with day-to-day needs. We had everything we needed -- turnkey ready. Location is fantastic -- oh, the views! Great privacy and so close to so many amenities. A superb 'base-camp' for local and farther afield excursions. Only about 15min. drive to downtown St. John's! We highly recommend the Big Red House nestled in historic and scenic Torbay!

A+++ for Big Red House

Wow! What an incredible stay at the Red Big House! From the moment we walked through the door, we felt right at home. The space was beautifully designed, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail was exceptional, from the welcome package to the amenities provided. The host was amazing, always available and willing to assist with anything we needed. The location was perfect, too, with stunning views and easy access to nearby attractions. Thank you for making our stay memorable and unforgettable. We will definitely be recommending the Big Red House to all of our friends and family!
