Extraordinary apartment completely renovated with great attention to detail and guest comfort. This is a truly special house full of charm and with many beds: up to 10 people can stay here, a rarity in the historic center of Florence!

Casa Velluti Deluxe has a very important size (about 150 square meters) and is spread over two levels. The house has a beautiful living area characterized by elements of great value, such as the columns that divide the living room from the kitchen and the precious chandelier that illuminates the dining area, a design kitchen equipped in the best way, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a delightful terrace.

The bedrooms are organized as follows: the first is a double (with private bathroom), the second has a bunk bed and the third is a real family suite with double bed, two single beds, walk-in closet and private bathroom.

Check in was easy. The house is really nice close to everything. Communication was good. The only thing that was bother us it was master room and bathroom was a bad drain odor and I find beef bone in the kitchen table. Beautiful property they just need to fix the water that is dropping for the both of the bathrooms upstairs

Communication before check in was plenty. After checkin and when the pipe burst, we didn’t hear from her. I messaged the local contact via WhatsApp and didn’t hear anything until the next morning. It is an unfortunate situation that occurred. The only thing that we were looking for is someone to respond to is when we needed them. Awesome location!! We loved Florence!!

Amazing home, beautifully setup and close to everything. I would only suggest a couple more kitchen items in the home that would be helpful. A frying pan, toaster and some dish towels and dish soap. Everything else was perfect

PERFECTLY located property

This property is perfectly located in Florence. It is a quick 10 minute walk to all the sites you want to see (Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio, Duomo, etc.), but feels safe. It has lots of space and different areas to set up camp. Recognize that there is no clothes dryer (they provide a line to dry on but we had to hang clothes on the radiators to get them dry). The kitchen is not super well stocked with pans to cook with, and there was a strange smell coming from the toilets, like a sewer problem or something. Otherwise, fantastic property. Thanks!

Lovely Appartment right in the city center

Das Appartment Oltrarno liegt direkt in der belebten Innenstadt von Florenz, ganz in der Nähe der Ponte Veccio. Und dennoch hat man im Appartement von der Lautstärke der Straße nichts gehört. Für unsere Famile (7 Personen) war die Unterkunft genau das richtige. Zentral aber doch ruhig. Die eher moderne Ausstattung des Appartments war sehr gut und wir konnten auch ohne Probleme in der sehr gut ausgestatteten Küche kochen. Auch ein kleiner Supermarkt ist 2 Straßen weiter um frische Lebensmittel zu erwerben. Wer mit dem Auto anreist sollte sich eine Garage suchen (liegt direkt in der Nähe) – Parken ist fast unmöglich. Die Übergabe des Schlüssels verlief reibungslos. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten liegen in Laufnähe und alles andere ist super über den Bus zu erreichen. Wir haben unsere Tage in Florenz sehr genossen und würden am liebsten sofort wieder buchen. The Oltrarno apartment is located right in the bustling city center of Florence, very close to the Ponte Veccio. And yet you didn't hear anything in the apartment from the volume of the street. For our family (7 people) the accommodation was just right. Central but still quiet. The rather modern equipment of the apartment was very good and we were able to cook in the very well equipped kitchen without any problems. There is also a small supermarket 2 streets away to buy fresh groceries. If you are coming by car, you should look for a garage (it's close by) - parking is almost impossible. The handover of the key went smoothly. Many sights are within walking distance and everything else is easy to reach by bus. We really enjoyed our days in Florence and would love to book again immediately.

The apartment was beautiful and perfectly located. The folks managing this apartment truly listen to the feedback provided. I will say that every negative I read in the reviews from prior to our stay was very obviously addressed. No issues with showers, bathroom window into stairway is now fully frosted, etc. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful apartment with me and my family.

Stay somewhere else

This was a disappointing property. The first concern is the front bedroom. It faces the street and is extremely loud. So much so, you cannot sleep in this room. Our son stayed in this room each night and slept poorly due to road noise. I slept in this room one night, and it is like sleeping on the street. The second issue is there is window in the upstairs bathroom that faces the stairwell. While the window is sort of frosted, you can still see through it. The kwindow is low and in front of the toilet. Basically, anyone in the stairwell can see you as you go to the bathroom. We ended up hanging towels in front of the window to get some privacy. The third issue is we had someone try to kick-in the door to the apartment at 2:30am. The door frame and a portion of the lock set were broken by the person, but thankfully they did not get access to the apartment. We called the management company in the morning to inform them of what happened, and they sent someone out to look at the door who concluded the door was fine. The frame was cracked; the frame should have been replaced. Lastly, we were told we would be provided an after hours emergency contact number when we checked in and never were. It would have been helpful when someone tried to break-in to the apartment. In short, rent a different place There are tons of places to stay in Florence; this apartment and this company should be avoided, in my opinion.

Mold and sewer smell

We complained of a strong mildew smell and was ignored by the property manager. After taking a shower a massive water leak from the ceiling onto the first floor showed the source of the mold smell. We left after also finding frank mold also in the front washing machine. The check in process had us waiting out front in the heat for 30 minutes waiting to be let in. They didn’t answer the phone. This place is a health hazard and should be repaired before anyone else rents. Mold develops in 24 hours after a water leak. and they had no attempts at fixing the problem. Being a physician myself it should be banned and taken off the vbro. In addition this property manager refused to be paid through vbro and only asked for direct funds from me. He also refused to refund our money even though the water leak was 3 by 3 feet onto the floor and extensive. Stay away !
