Willkommen in unserem neu renovierten Stadthaus in Cannes Village. Dieser Komplex ist klein und ruhig, mit zwei Gebäuden und insgesamt 18 Einheiten. Unsere Einheit ist eine Endeinheit im zweiten Gebäude (12 Einheiten). Es hat ein großes Fenster an der Seite und sorgt für eine angenehme Brise, wenn Sie dieses und die abgeschirmte Terrassentür und das abgeschirmte Fenster am Strand zusammen mit der Vordertür öffnen.

Der weiße Sandstrand ist nur 100 Fuß von unserer Terrasse entfernt und lädt Sie zu langen Spaziergängen in beide Richtungen ein. Entspannen Sie am Strand, spielen Sie im Meer, schnorcheln Sie an den nahe gelegenen Stegen oder nutzen Sie den nahe gelegenen Jet-Ski, Kajak und andere Leihmöglichkeiten für stundenlange Unterhaltung. Auf dem Weg zurück in die Stadt können Sie sich im Pool erfrischen.

Sobald Sie sich im Stadthaus niedergelassen haben, können Sie in der brandneuen, voll ausgestatteten Küche kochen oder eine Mahlzeit in einem der nahe gelegenen Restaurants zu Fuß einnehmen. Ein Sonnenuntergang am Strand bei Ebbe bietet Ihnen eine herrliche Aussicht. Nach Einbruch der Dunkelheit können Sie mit einem bereitgestellten Buch, Puzzle, Spiel oder DVD entspannen. Der 50-Zoll-Fernseher im Wohnbereich bietet kostenlose Kabelprogramme. Alternativ können Sie über unser kostenloses Internet eine Verbindung zu Ihrem Netflix-Konto herstellen, um einen Film anzusehen. Es gibt viele Sitzgelegenheiten für Ihre Gruppe: Sofa, Loveseat, Sessel und zwei Drehstühle mit Ottomanen.

Ebenfalls im Erdgeschoss befindet sich ein kleines Schlafzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten und Kommode (kein Schrank), ½ Bad mit Dusche, Esstisch mit Platz für sechs Personen. Es gibt einen Schrank mit acht Strandtüchern, Sandspielzeug, verschiedenen Lotionen und anderen Dingen, die Sie möglicherweise während Ihres Aufenthalts nützlich finden.

Das mit Teppich ausgelegte Hauptschlafzimmer im zweiten Stock verfügt über eine Terrassenschiebetür, die auf einen Balkon mit kleinem Beistelltisch und zwei Stühlen führt. Genießen Sie den herrlichen Blick auf das Meer, die Palmen, Blumengärten, den Pavillon und den Pool. Es gibt ein französisches Bett, zwei Nachttische, eine Kommode, einen großen Kleiderschrank, einen 55-Zoll-Fernseher und einen DVD-Player. Das Bad verfügt über eine Dusche.

Das Gästezimmer befindet sich ebenfalls im zweiten Stock und verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett, zwei Nachttische, eine Kommode und einen Kleiderschrank sowie ein eigenes Bad mit Badewanne und Dusche. Es hat auch 32 "TV nur mit Amazon FireStick. Alle drei Schlafzimmer sind mit Schaumstoffmatratzen sowie großen Deckenventilatoren und Klimaanlagen ausgestattet. Für die Kleinen stellen wir ein Reisebett, einen Hochstuhl und einen Kindersitz zur Verfügung.

In my opinion, a good stay begins with caring hosts like Jim and Nancy. Throughout the rental process they responded swiftly to any questions and concerns. Check-in was a breeze and we were met by Val the property manager, who was friendly and welcoming.As for the property, it was clean and inviting with a warm, homey atmosphere. We really appreciated that there were plenty of beach and bath towels; no need to bring your own. We also appreciated the beach chairs that were provided.The bedrooms are well appointed with extra linens and pillows. One of the reasons we selected this property is because of the bedroom downstairs for my senior mother who does not navigate stairs. Her only disappointment was that there was no tv in the room. When I jokingly mentioned this to Val, she immediately responded that she would mention that to Nancy and in the very next breath offered to bring a spare tv from her home the next day (Christmas Eve) for us to use during our stay; which she did! Nancy and Jim have a gem in Val!The kitchen was well stocked with practically every kitchen utensil you might need. There were sufficient pots and pans (they could use updating), as well as lovely dishes, mugs, glasses and flatware. There are reusable bags for shopping in the cabinet as the Bahamas no longer uses single-use bags.The gas grill was a bonus. We met other renters whose property did not have one.Thank you Jim and Nancy for sharing your home and we look forward to future visits.

Overall, a very nice place to stay

The condo is very nice, very clean, and has great space. Val, the property manager, was very responsive and helpful. It would have been nice to have a notebook of suggested restaurants, how to best work the a/c units, and location of grocery/drugstore. You definitely need to rent a car or plan on using taxis for everything. The master bed mattress is not comfortable but the other mattresses were fine. Great access to the ocean/beach and resort next door. We ate at DeGregory’s every day for breakfast!

Great place to stay

The condo was great. Quiet, right on the beach, plenty of room for a family of 5, and within a few minutes drive to shops and restaurants. The property manager met us at the condo for check-in. She answered any questions about the island and gave us a long list of things that we should check out during our stay (Pier One restaurant where they feed the sharks was my favorite part of the trip and I never would have known about it if she hadn’t suggested it). She was also available any time we needed her - once dropped off a new propane tank for the outside grill. The condo had good sized rooms, full kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine & dryer. And came stocked with lots of bath and beach towels.

Quaint, Quiet, Relaxing Location

My husband and I stayed here in November 2023. For check in the manager, Val, met us at the apartment. She was a very nice lady and was available whenever we needed anything. The apartment was as described. There were a couple of hiccups, but they were resolved quickly by Val and her crew. The place was clean and the security locks for all the doors and windows were a plus. One issue was that the complex did not have proper lighting in the front so when we walked during the evening to get something to eat, it was a bit dark. I would have been a little more nervous if my spouse wasn't with me. I liked that each bedroom had an air conditioning unit. The units probably need updating as they are loud and automatic settings can be off. However, I was happy to have the units for the comfort. Met one of the neighbors, who was a doctor and president of the association, he and his wife were friendly and introduced themselves. He also let us know about the safety level and the security gate to the beach. The place was quiet and relaxing, just what we needed. They had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The only drawback was that the TV was lacking for us TV junkies. Because of the location, we could not watch Netflix and things like that. I would suggest perhaps getting NordVPN for the televisions so that visitors can watch football or things like that in the down time. I did like that they did not have a ton of clean up rules upon exit.

We’re glad you enjoyed relaxing at our condo. We hope you found the grounds were well lit with floodlights on the front and beachside ends of both buildings. The bedroom air conditioners are definitely a help when it’s warm or hot outside. There are also ceiling fans in each bedroom. The living room AC is much quieter than others, as it is a split unit rather than through. However, Association rules prohibit us from installing that type of units in the bedrooms, so as to keep a uniform exterior appearance for all 18 condos. Please be assured that Netflix, Amazon Prime and YouTube are definitely available on all three televisions, using the renter’s personal accounts. Other streaming channels are available as well, although we have not used any of them. Hulu, however, is not available anywhere in the Bahamas, even if using a VPN. If you would like to get the same offerings on Netflix and others as you might get in the US, it’s easy to set up your preferred VPN on the Roku (living room), Apple TV box (master bedroom) or Amazon fire stick (second upstairs bedroom.) Thanks for staying at our condo and for the feedback you provided.

Absolutely fabulous! Very comfortable home in a beautiful location.

This was simply one of the best vacation rental situations we have ever had! The location is truly fabulous, with a swimming pool and the ocean right out the back patio door, along with access to the amenities at the resort next door. And there are two small seafood restaurants right on the beach, in addition to what the resort next door offers. The owners were extremely easy to work with, and were very gracious when we needed to adjust the dates of our stay. Very, very kind and friendly people! The manager who met us there was also very cordial, friendly, and helpful. The way we were treated by the owners and manager was exemplary! Two of the three bedrooms are master bedrooms with private bathrooms, and the third bathroom is also a complete bathroom with a shower. Everything appeared to be updated and high quality. One master bedroom has a patio overlooking the ocean. Truly beautiful. The home is in very good repair and is tastefully decorated and furnished. It is the most well-equipped vacation rental we've ever rented. I believe there was a flat screen TV in each bedroom, the internet and wifi worked well, and the living room TV even had Netflix, etc. The kitchen has an abundance of literally everything a family would need, and the home was well-stocked with truly everything we needed, including charcoal and fluid for the bbq. Everything was so comfortable and clean. This lovely place has lots of natural light and a wonderful, happy energy. We didn't want to leave, and the whole family felt like this would be the first place we would try to rent if we came back to Freeport. I just can't imagine how anyone could be anything but delighted with this awesome condo! Thank you so much, Jim and Nancy!

Great stay!

We loved this property. Its recently redone and has everything you need to enjoy the beach, cook in and more. Catherine was fantastic and provided us a ton of info on local attractions and arranged activities for us as well. We will definitely be coming back!

Stay in paradise

We spent a week at Cannes Condominium and it couldn’t have been better . We were 3 adults and 3 kids below 5 including an infant . Jim and Nancy hace items for the kids which is rare in many places. The house is furnished with everything you can expect if it was your own house : from bath towels , beach towels , everything necessary in the kitchen . We didn’t miss a thing . The unit manager was super helpful for any inquiry and Nancy / Jim respond really . We used the swimming pool which is really convenient just once because the weather was not that nice and it was really nice for the kids ! We also rented at the recommended place and we didn’t have any issue , they were waiting for us at the airport even though the flight was late ! I would really recommend to go to this Condo

We had an amazing time staying at Nancy & Jim's townhome. There were 6 of us in total including two 2 year olds. The room with twin beds was perfect for the kids, and the two rooms upstairs had comfortable queen beds and beautiful, recently updated bathrooms. The kitchen is beautiful and has everything you need to cook if you wish. My husband and I stayed in the master and I woke up to watch a gorgeous sunrise every morning directly from our balcony. The property itself had a clean pool which was a little chilly, but the kids still enjoyed. This townhome walks right out to a sidewalk that leads to the beach which is absolutely perfect. The beach itself is mind blowing. The water is crystal clear, and the sand is so soft. Since my children are early risers, we took advantage and went on a sunrise stroll every morning where the kids could hop around in ankle deep water looking for shells. If you turn left on the beach there is a fun tiki bar called "Manta Ray Beach Bar" that opens for lunch and dinner (they have TVS, so thanksgiving football was enjoyed by my father in law). They knew us by name by the time we left. Karaoke night was fun, but the live music on Friday was by far the best band I have ever heard, in the states or elsewhere. If you continue past the restaurant, there is a beach "shack" made out of wood remnants and tarp. It looks interesting to say the least, but you MUST go there. Bernie is the owner and he makes grilled and pan fried lobster, cracked conch and fresh fish caught that day. The pan fried cracked conch was to die for (my two year olds devoured it). If you turn right on the beach from Cannes village you will find Island Seas resort which is a great place to enjoy a beverage, sit in the hot tub, let kids splash around in a 1' kiddie pool, or rent inexpensive water toys. We used the paddle boards and had a blast looking for rays and coral. Overall the experience is just a perfect laid back beach vacation. Catherine, the property manager, grocery shopped for us before our arrival so we had cold beverages, snack foods and breakfast items on hand. (The grocery store is close and easy to navigate to if you'd like.) I would ABSOLUTELY go back to Grand Bahama, in fact we are watching flight prices already to get back to this beautiful townhome and enjoy (what felt like) our bey own private white sand beach.
