Die Wohnung ist groß, hell und geräumig und hat einen eigenen Eingang mit Schlüssel, sodass Sie kommen und gehen können, wie Sie möchten. Der Eigentümer wohnt im Erdgeschoss und gibt Ihnen gerne Informationen zu örtlichen Orten und Sehenswürdigkeiten.

Perfect apartment for 2 people

My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights. Lianne was a kind host and our flat had everything that we needed and the price was good. This was a good town to stay in to go visit other towns. Daylesford Farm is close. Good shower! The weather was mild while we stayed, but I could imagine that if it were hot, the flat might be uncomfortable. However, there were multiple skylight windows that allowed very good air circulation and light in there.

Fabulous little apartment clean, comfortable and spacious.

My hubby and I stayed for three nights and we really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was lovely and clean, and a 5 min drive from Chipping Norton. We loved exploring the area and had a really relaxing break. The parking was great, the Bathroom was big and spacious, lots of lovely clean towels and a shower big enough for 2. The bed was comfy and the room was a good size, the living area was great with a comfy sofa, a big TV and everything was decorated in neutral tones. One thing I would say is it gets really warm in there so if your a lady of a certain age you might want a fan in the summer, lovely host, great apartment and really reasonable price.. what more could you want . ? Will definitely use again. Thank you.

Nice location / spacious

Linane was super helpful with the booking (I made a few date changes prior to traveling) and informative about the area. The loft is spacious with a great shower and comfortable bed. I wasn't thrilled with having to walk through the tenants breezeway and through the backyard to get to the loft. There is a very thin wall separating the loft from the tenants house at the bottom of the stairs and at times you could hear the tenants. The fridge didn't have a freezer and only half of the 4 slice toaster worked. Also, there were many dead bugs in the lights which I found unusual seeing as how England has very few bugs. All in all, it was a good value for the money.

As a host I aim for 5 stars every time. I was surprised, shocked and disappointed to receive a three star review from what I thought were two happy guests. I have no control over wildlife. I’m in the middle of a rural location. The only access to the property is through the breezeway and I’ll add this information to the listing. 6 years I have listed this property and no one has ever mentioned that walking through an alleyway is a problem. The fridge is a larder fridge which is mentioned in the listing. Therefore it doesn’t have a freezer compartment. It’s not missing. It isn’t meant to be there. On the positive side you have mentioned nice location, spacious, great shower and comfortable bed and on top of that I was super helpful and informative about the area and that it was good value for money. Given these comments I don’t think this deserves a three star rating. I am hurt by this. I don’t think 3 stars is fair. The toaster has been checked works fully. Maybe you hit the 3 star button by mistake.

Great location for exploring Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds

Great hostess who greeted us warmly and talked us through key points on arrival. The flat has its own entrance and was a great size for two people. The bed was really comfortable and it was a very quiet location, so sleep quality was excellent. Blinds on the bedroom windows would have meant we slept longer - the sun did wake us quite early (even wearing an eye mask), but as the days get shorter, this will be less of an issue. We had a wide variety of weather during our short stay, from very wet to pretty hot and the flat was a comfortable temperature in all of them - we certainly didn't have any trouble with the velux windows which opened fine for us. Good shower with plenty of hot water and the dishwasher was a bonus. An easy walk into Chipping Norton with lots of shops and supermarkets and places to eat (it's uphill on the way back though!). Great country walks starting on the doorstep. If we were in the area, we would come back again. Very competitively priced.

Slightly disappointed

host was welcoming Furniture was a little dated, the apartment could do with repainting as there are signs of water damage on some of the walls. The velux windows were difficult to open although we did manage after a struggle, it looked like these are the cause of the water damage. The entrance hall into the property was more a storage area for hoovers and a lawn mower. The property had an unpleasant odour so we left the windows open most if the time to try to dispell it. Could do with replacing the Towels and bedding, and improving the curb appeal. On the plus size. The bathroom was lovely and big and the shower was very good. Although a good walk to the town, it is quite central for visiting all the lovely little picturesque towns and villages.

Hi. The windows are a tight fit. They need a bit of strength to open. There is no water ingress. I have no evidence of an odour. What you are calling an entrance hall is in fact a storage area. It is just a cut through to the flat and the actual private entrance hall in the flat is always clear. The flat is due to be repainted in October. It’s been fully booked all year. The furniture is as per the photos. It is all clean and tidy. Having had expensive Egyptian cotton linen and towels ruined by people wearing fake tan I now supply perfectly serviceable and clean medium quality bed linen. For £50 a night for two people in the Cotswolds it’s a true bargain so I’m sorry you are disappointed.

Excellent base

Perfect location for exploring the area. Walks from the front door or catch a bus, just 15mins down the road. Short walk to Chipping Norton for great pubs and restaurants. Excellent clean property and great communication with host.

Too Hot!

This is a very spacious property with many great features - huge airy shower room, lots of cooking and cleaning equipment, good wifi and lots of sockets/usb facilities. However, having stayed here for almost 3 weeks during a heat wave, I was rather disconcerted that none of the many skylight type windows (which appeared to have been recently fitted and rather shoddily) had any blinds or curtains on them, rendering the apartment akin to a green house, and obviously no protection from the glaring sunlight coming through in the mornings. One rather inadequate fan was provided. Also, during my stay (in the heat), I was never offered any clean bedding or towels and the ones which were provided weren't great quality. Otherwise, for my purposes, (business rather than pleasure), it was a great location, but I definitely wouldn't stay here again unless the window situation was addressed.

Wow Carol. We met outside on several occasions and not once did you bring any of your issues to my attention. If you needed bedding you only had to ask. There are no blinds because it only overlooks a field and no one can see into the apartment. I’m very disappointed with your comments which I feel are unfair considering this is the first I have heard of any of it and not one other review echoes anything you have mentioned. It’s a holiday let so maybe you should stay at premier inn next time.

Meet our best friends

Just returned from our reunion with our best friends 21.06.21 Booking though Vrbo has been smooth with no problem at all would certainly use this company again. Communication with Li the owner was perfect ,answered all my questions with speed, Li was there to meet us when we arrived to hand over all relevant information, The apartment was just what we wonted, spotlessly clean very spacious everything we needed for our break, free WiFi , very comfortable bed, lovely big shower room with nice clean towels, you get your own front door and the entrance all lit up at night + free parking at the front of the owners property so we found everything just right for our stay. The property is around a mile or a 15min picturesque walk to chipping Norton but sadly wasn’t able to do this due to the weather. All in all very good value for the price. Had a delicious meal at The Fox 🦊 in chipping Norton definitely recommended. Thank you Li for a lovely stay , should we return to Norton we would with out a doubt stay with you again. 👍🏻💗 MANY THANKS Julie & Steve xx

It’s quiet here. You may hear cocks crowing if you are up early. The double glazing blocks that out if you like to sleep in. From the viewing point near the town hall you can see four counties. Oxfordshire Warwickshire Worcestershire and Gloucestershire. We are on the borders of all four.
There is a bus stop at the end of the road which goes to Oxford and Banbury I think. We are near SoHo farmhouse, Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat farm shop, Daylesford organically and Chipping Norton Theatre
