Wonderful place to stay in Sicily

We stayed for two weeks in June/July with two kids. The apartment is in excellent condition with all comfort you need for a enjoyable stay. Huge terrace for breakfast and evening use. The aircondition works perfect and could be adjusted remote to pleasant temperature. Our host Salvatore and his son Sebastian are very friendly and helpful. We had a garage for our car. Letojanni is a very nice place to stay. Big supermarket nearby (In Grosso Alimentari) with excellent choice of Meat Vegetables and Fruit. Nice restaurants on the beach line and great beach. We fell completely in love with Sicily and come back at the next opportunity.

Super Location

Wir waren schon mal vor 4 Jahren in dieser Wohnung und sind wieder begeistert gewesen. TOP Ausstattung und alles wie neu. Der Vermieter super nett und bei Problem sofort zur Stelle.Er steht auch mit hilfreichen Tipps bei der Anreise zur Seite. In wenigen Minuten zu Fuß im Ort und am Strand. Super Ausgangslage für Trips zum Ätna, Catania usw. Wenn überhaupt es was nicht so gutes gibt ist es die akustische Präsens der Autobahn. Dieser kleine Nachteile wird aber durch die positiven Aspekte mehr als aufgewogen

Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt

Schöne Ferienwohnung zum Erkunden der Ostküste. Sehr freundlicher zuvorkommender Vermieter. Große Terrasse hatte nur morgens Sonne - in Sichtweite die Autobahnbrücke - diese stört aber nicht wirklich. Netter im März ruhiger Ort - Restaurants hatten z.T. noch geschlossen. Sehr angenehmes Wetter . Insgesamt : empfehlenswert !!!

Sehr schöne und moderne Ferienwohnung

Wir hatten vom einen auf den anderen Tag bei Salvatore (dem Vermieter der Wohnung) angefragt, ob wir die Ferienwohnung ab dem nächsten Tag mieten könnten. Wir bekamen sofort Antwort und es war überhaupt kein Problem, obwohl es so kurzfristig. Die Wohnung war sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit allem wichtigen Ausgestattet: Fön, Kaffeemaschine, Waschmaschine, Mikrowelle, Wlan etc. Leider konnten wir aufgrund des schlechten Wetters die sehr große Terrasse nicht nutzen. Salvatore ist ein sehr netter hilfsbereiter Vermieter zudem sehr unkompliziert. Wir würden diese Wohnung jederzeit wieder buchen! Danke Salvatore von Ines & Björn

Meine Frau sagt: wir kommen wieder

Als eingefleischte Norditalienurlauber haben wir in diesem Jahr uns zum erstenmal nach Sizilien gewagt. Wir sind in keiner Weise enttäuscht worden. Sizilien ist ein erstklassiges Reiseziel, besonders wenn die Unterkunft, das Wetter und die weiteren Rahmenbedingungen stimmen. Appartement erstklassig; top ausgestattet , hat unsere Erwartung mehr als übertroffen, einwandfrei sauber,sodass sogar meine Frau sich sofort heimisch fühlen konnte. Wetter sehr beständig und regelmäßig so warm, dass man jeden Morgen auf der wirklich großzügigen Terasse frühstücken konnte. Letojanni ein erstklassiger, kleiner und übersichtlicher Urlaubsort mit vielen preiswerten Restaurants, kleinen Supermärkten und einem ausgezeichneten Fischhändler (200 m hinter der Pfarrkirche des Ortes) Fazit: wenn meine Frau sagt: wir kommen wieder, heißt das Urlaub erster Klasse. Vielen Dank auch an Salvatore, für die zuvorkommende Unterstützung

Schöne Lage für die Erkundung der Ostküste

So erlebt man Sizilien auf angenehme Art

Wir haben einen wunderschönen Urlaub in diesem sehr komfortablen Appartement verbracht. Die Einrichtung ist neu, modern und enthält alles, was der Gast benötigt. Als Ausgangspunkt für Besuche der Städte Messina, Taormina, Catania und Syrakus, sowie des Dorfes Savoca und der Region um den Ätna ist das Appartement bestens geeignet. Gut: Sauberkeit, Check-in und Kommunikation

Mooi en schoon appartement dichtbij taormina

Mooi en heel netjes apparaten van alle gemakken voorzien. Het is 10 min rijden naar Taormina en het strand is 300 meter van het appartement. We zijn vriendelijk ontvangen door Maria! Helaas viel de locatie van het appartement wat tegen en hadden we wat overlast van de buren. Je kijkt uit op de snelweg en andere appartement, dit was op de foto niet te zien. Mocht je veel onderweg zijn en het appartement vooral als slaapplek gebruiken dan is dit zeker een top appartement!

Wonderful apartment and great host!

We stayed here as an exploring base for our time in Sicily. It was perfect. Apartment has all the needs of home and you can experience life more like a resident than a tourist. Great apartment!!!

We stayed for 3 nights in September 2017 at Salvatore’s’ Marina 1 apartment and had a really great time. The apartment is new, excellent, modern, clean and as described. There is free parking in front of the building. The appliances are all new and in good working condition. The balcony is a bonus for both day and evening. The apartment location is perfect, close to everything, beach, a lot of restaurants, little shops, supermarkets. Salvatore is an amazing guest! He was extremely nice, providing us with a lot of information and suggestions about the area. We will come back anytime and recommend this place to all our friends and relatives. Super dejlig lejlighed

Vi havde 14 dages super ferie i denne skønne lejlighed. Lejligheden er ikke langt fra byen og der alt hvad man har brug for, incl. garage. Dejlig stor terrasse med spisebord og loungemøbler. Perfect location!

My husband and I stayed 2 weeks in Salvatore's Stella Marina 1 apartment. The location was perfect for us as we had no car. We could walk to everything, markets, beach, coffee shops, bus stops and train station. Salvatore was so helpful with information on travel arrangements from Catania Airport to the apartment. He waited for us at the apartment, even though our flight was late. He took time to show us how everything worked in the apartment and even walked us down to the Plaza and back to get us oriented to Letojanni. We loved the apartment because is was quiet, well equipped, had a private balcony and washing machine. We took public transportation to Taormina several times, the train up to Messina, and used the taxi/excursion service for day trips to the Valley of the Temples and the Roman Villa. We would highly recommend booking this apartment. Salvatore is the kindest person and so easy to work with. Thanks for a great vacation!

Contemporary living at a great standard

My family (myself, husband and teenage daughter) booked this apartment because we were looking for some Winter sun and relaxation within Europe. The flight time is approximately 3 hours so Sicily is very convenient. Salvatore was very helpful with our booking and very kindly picked us up from Catania airport, showing us some areas and sights of interest on route. The contemporary apartment is very well equipped to a high standard, with lots of storage space and is a home from home. The apartment has one bedroom and a sofa bed in the living area. Both rooms are separated by the bathroom, so we individually felt that we had the necessary privacy and quiet in the evening. The rooms lead out onto a terrace which is large and perfect for outdoor eating, sunbathing and relaxing. The apartment is within easy walking distance of shops and the beach. The local people were very friendly and kind and many spoke a small amount of English. The quality of the fresh produce was excellent and we enjoyed self-catering so much, we rarely ate out. The local trains and buses are efficient and inexpensive. We regularly spent time in the nearby stunning picture perfect town of Taormina, which is less than 10 minutes bus ride away. We also visited several other towns and cities, such as Catania which is a grand Baroque city full of vitality and energy. The family spent 3 weeks in Sicily at the end of January/beginning of February the weather was excellent, other than for a couple of rainy days. Conversely the weather in the UK was windy, snowy and cold. We returned to the UK with heavy hearts but energised and with a healthy glow. We had such an enjoyable time in Sicily, which is in no small part to the big-hearted Sicilians, we will definitely return.

A great apartment and a wonderful host.

We spent 4 days in Salvatores beautiful apartment. It was clean and comfortable with good a shower. Wifi was also good and reliable. It is located in a quite neighbourhood area and a short walk from the centre. We loved the big balcony and spent some great quality time there. Not only was the apartment great, but so was Salvatore he helped us out in so many ways with his kindness and hospitality. We will recommend his apartment to all our friends.

BELLISSIMO APPARTAMENTO CON GARAGE

Appartamento molto carino arredato di nuovo e di gusto, pulito e confortevole non manca nulla, comodo al centro. e alla spiaggia in una zona tranquilla.La cosa strabiliante è il garage, in un posto cosi dove i parcheggi sono rari è il massimo, molti spostamenti ad es:Taormina, Castelmola, Forza d'Agrò, isola Bella(da non perdere)li abbiamo fatti con i bus locali, funzionano a meraviglia.Con l'auto con la vicinissima autostrada si può raggiungere Acireale, Aci Castello, Catania e l'Etna.Ringraziamo il proprietario sig. Salvatore per la sua gentilezza e disponibilità. Arrivederci e grazie. Evviva le granite sono fantastiche!!!!

A wonderful holiday at Stella marina 1

The apartment was excellent and adequately furnished with lots of extras. The bed was very comfortable. We were very impressed with salvatore the owner, who could not be more helpful, even to taking us out. As we are oldies it was so nice to have this extra help. Pick up and return to the airport was so helpful and we enjoyed the whole holiday so much more due to this great service. We would recommend this to our family for a very relaxing holiday.

Heerlijk appartement

Een heerlijke vakantie gehad in dit prachtige appartement. Het was hartstikke netjes, super schoon en uiterst compleet ingericht. Vanuit het appartement nog geen 5 minuten lopen naar de boulevard waar een paar lekkere en goede eettenten zaten. Ook een perfecte uitvalsbasis om te omgeving te verkennen, de Etna, de Alcantara kloof, Taormina en zo nog vele uitstapjes meer. Zeer zeker een aanrader!!!

Beautiful Apartment

My wife and I spent 3 nights in Lettojanni, just down from Taormina, of our 5-1/2 week tour of Italy and Paris. The location was great with parking for our car, which is a rarity in some places. Just a short drive to Taormina which was very beautiful, with the Roman theatre and gardens. We were able to find someone to drive us to Taormina and back instead of relying on the buses, which was a big help. The apartment was very well equipped and very modern in an area that exudes old and traditional. We had a great stay and Salvatore was very helpful with hints on restaurants, food stores, etc. Thank again Salvatore, and if we're back in this area, we would certainly stay here again. Perfect Getaway, Great location!

We spent an extended Winter Getaway holiday in this lovely, clean, spacious apartment which lived up to the description and photographs in every detail. The owner couldn't have been more helpful giving us a drive around both Taormina and delightful Letojanni where we found a useful supermarket, great laundry and several excellent fishmongers. There's a great choice of bars and restaurants in Letojanni and it's all within walking distance. The apartment is light and airy with more wardrobe and storage space than I have at home. Very comfortable bed with sofa bed the same and all beautifully clean and fresh. The kitchen has everything you need to produce light meals and was well equipped. The large terrace with a side view to the sea and over the pretty church tower in the distance was an added bonus. We couldn't have been happier and would highly recommend Stella Marina 1. Excellent Apartment

This is an excellent property - it is spotlessly clean and well maintained and the photos are a true reflection of what you get. I was delighted that it had a kettle which you don't often find in holiday lets. Salvatore is an excellent host - he keeps in touch and is nearby if you need him but doesn't impinge on your privacy. He collected us from the train station and gave us a guided tour of the local area before dropping us off at the apartment. The beach, restaurants and bars are just a short walk away and it's easy to get the bus to Taormina or the train to Messina and Catania. You certainly don't need a car. We had a wonderful holiday here and I would certainly recommend it.

A cosy, tastefully furnished apartment

We, a retired couple from Finland, really enjoyed staying here for one and a half months.The apartment was clean and in excellent condition. Everything worked perfectly, the well equipped kitchen area, washing machine, heating when needed and the internet connection. We liked the peaceful location. It was only a few minutes walk to the beach, supermarkets, bus stops and even to the railway station.Easy to get around by buses and trains. Almost every morning we had the breakfast on the sunny terasse listening to the concert of the birds. The only minus point was that the sun didn`t shine to the terasse after 12 o`clock.But it took only five minutes to walk to the sunny beach street. We are so grateful to Salvatore, the owner, who drove us from Catania when arriving and again back to Catania airport when returning home. He was the most helpful and friendly landlord we can imagine. Letojanni was also a nice, small town with friendly people.We want warmly recommend this apartment to anybody visiting Sicily. Kiitos, Salvatore!!

Lovely Apartment

Lovely, clean and modern apartment in an ideal location in Letojanni. Very close to the beach, restaurants, supermarket and bus stop to get to Taormina (with very reliable bus service). Apartment came fully equipped with more than we were expecting including washing machine, washing tablets, hair dryer, beach towels as well as wash towels, soap and cleaning products, and cooking essentials like olive oil, salt, pepper, balsamic, etc. The owner Salvatore kindly agreed to collect us from Taormina on our arrival and drive us back to the airport in Catania on our return journey. He made contact throughout our stay to ensure all was well and couldn't have provided a better service. Unfortunately, quite a few restaurants and cafes in Letojanni closed for the winter during the week we were there. Therefore, without a car we used the bus service frequently to travel to Taormina and beyond. On account of this we probably didn't fully appreciate the apartment location. In the height of summer I can imagine this apartment being fantastically located for ease of access to the beach and restaurants. Apartment was spotless on arrival. Despite the poor weather we experienced, great holiday and I would happily recommend this apartment to anybody. I do think however that in winter (when Letojanni is very empty and quiet) the apartment would suit those with a car more than those relying on public transport. Thank you again Salvatore.
