We had a wonderful and relaxing time at the gîte After a bad start to our holiday, due to car trouble, we arrived later than expected, but Neil and Kay were extremely welcoming and accommodating and even agreed to us staying longer to make up for the lost time! The gîte is spotless and the pool is absolutely amazing. We spent loads of time relaxing and playing in the pool, as well as exploring the area! Neil and Kay were always happy to give advise on where to go, but were otherwise very discreet and allowing us our privacy! We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this beautiful part of France and place to stay.

We had a fantastic stay! The gite was really lovely inside and out, with a great swimming pool we all enjoyed. A perfect location for exploring the local area, and also the coast and pryrennes are in easy driving distance with so much to do. The hosts Neil and Kay were great, super helpful, and only around if needed. We will be back again

Lovely Gite in a peaceful setting

A lovely gite in a beautiful setting in amongst well tended gardens and overlooking the private swimming pool. We were warmly welcomed by Neil & Kay and really appreciated the generous welcome pack. The gite is very comfortable and is very well equipped. Our hosts respected our privacy but were always on hand for recommendations and advice. We enjoyed day trips to Pau, Biarritz and Pont d’Espagne and took the chairlift to Lac de Gaube. A fantastic day! On our days off there was nothing better than lounging by the beautiful pool, taking in the views and enjoying a chilled rosé as the sun went down.

Domain de tournesol

We were met by Kay and Neil and made to feel very welcome. The property was just as described and Kay had left us some provisions such as milk butter etc. The gite is very well situated to explore the region, and is a 20 minute walk into the village of Madiran, which has 2 restaurants and a boulangerie. Neil was always on hand to help us out with any questions and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a nice relaxing, peaceful holiday. Jim Relph.

Great outdoor space !

This property was spotless, well equipped and really felt like 'home from home'. The lovely cottage gardens contained a perfectly maintained pool, one of the clearest we have encountered! It was a treat to pick veg from the prolific plot to supplement a meal! A meandering path was mowed through the surrounding field which also contained a seat.. The house contained a useful welcome pack plus a comprehensive folder containing local information. Kay and Neil were the perfect hosts, on hand to help if required, but otherwise allowing guests their privacy. We would certainly recommend and hope to return!

A peaceful haven of tranquility

We were initially attracted by the pictures on the website and the reality was even better. The gite was really clean and equipped with everything that you could possibly need. The spotless pool was perfect for our needs - a chance to laze in the sunshine and relax. Our charmimg hosts, Kay & Neil, lived on site and were always available to offer local advice when we needed it. They provided a comprehensive gite handbook and were happy to offer useful further suggestions on places to visit and where to dine. Based on their suggestions we enjoyed several day trips to local towns (including Pau, Aire-Sur-L'Adour and Maubourguet). The chateau at Mascaraas is a must-see! Sadly, the two restaurants in Madiran have now closed but the boulangerie continues to provide excellent service. In summary, a lovely gite in a quiet location with delightful hosts.

Superb holiday an idyllic setting

We have just returned from 12 nights in this lovely gîte in Southwest France. The gîte itself was wonderful, it was comfortable and very welcoming, we immediately felt very at home there. It was very well equipped, stylish, understated, and of the highest quality. The setting was lovely with views of the garden, the pool, and the countryside, with a distant view of the Pyrenees. Kay and Neil were so friendly and the perfect hosts and although on hand to answer questions and point us in the direction of restaurants and other places, they also allowed us our privacy in-between times. We loved the pool, which was very welcome as the weather was so hot as well as the many other shady areas in the garden and appreciated prowling around the veggie patch helping ourselves to fruit and veg. Thank you so much Kay and Neil for the privilege of allowing to spend our getaway in such a wonderful setting. We are already planning our next trip. Sue, John, Laura, and Tom xx

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay at this amazing gite, managed and owned by Neil and Kay. The communication before our stay was brilliant. When we got there we had a lovely welcome, a guided tour and information and there was a really great welcome pack of wine, bread, butter, cheese, milk, orange juice, flowers from the garden decorating the downstairs and a information pack, well written with loads of recommendations. The Gite was spotless, beautifully laid out and furnished, very comfortable. I like to cook whilst I am away and the kitchen utensils etc perfect , we wanted for nothing! I also was really delighted to find that towels that we were given were of a top quality brand and bath sheets and hair towels, I gave a little happy dance when finding them, so few places do that! The swimming pool was brilliant, a fair size, clean and with loungers both in the shade and sun! The extra bonus was the garden, Neil grows vegetables and I had both squash and Aubergine envy as both of these I have not managed to grow but we were allowed to go and help ourselves to what was available, how wonderful was that? This Gite is a little gem in the most gorgeous surroundings in a relatively, for us, unknown area of France. The local town of Madiran, provides superb wine and there are many great places to visit if you can tear yourself away from the pool! I would definitely stay there again and would not hesitate to recommend to others, thank-you so much Neil and Kay, it was wonderful!

Magnifique hébergement ! Très propre, fonctionnel et bien agencé. Les hôtes sont formidables : à la fois présentes et super discrètes, toujours souriantes et prêtes à aider. Mes enfants ont adoré la piscine, et le petit plus, c'est le jardin plein de fruits et légumes à cueillir gratuitement. Awesome place! Super clean, functional, and great layout. The hosts are amazing—always around when you need them but totally respect your privacy, and they're always smiling and helpful. The kids loved the pool, and the best part was the garden full of free fruits and veggies you can just pick and eat!

Toujours disponibles si besoin, tout en restant très discrets, ils ont largement contribué à rendre nos vacances parfaites.La propriété est magnifique, avec un immense terrain où nos enfants ont pu courir, jouer au ballon et profiter pleinement de la nature. La piscine est un vrai bonheur, très agréable et parfaitement entretenue. Nos enfants y ont passé des heures !Le véritable coup de cœur reste le potager. Quel plaisir de pouvoir cueillir chaque jour des tomates, des framboises, des melons et bien d’autres légumes et fruits avant de préparer nos repas. La diversité est impressionnante et c’est un vrai luxe de profiter de produits aussi frais pendant les vacances.La maison est impeccable : très propre, parfaitement équipée et fonctionnelle. Le linge de lit, de bain et de piscine est de bonne qualité, un véritable confort et témoignent du soin apporté aux moindres détails.Enfin, un immense merci pour le panier d’accueil, nourriture, boissons fraiches et snacks, certainement l’un des plus généreux que nous ayons reçus. Tout était prévu pour nous accueillir dans les meilleures conditions.On sent que tout est pensé avec beaucoup de cœur pour que les vacanciers se sentent immédiatement chez eux. Très beau gîte, bien décoré et équipé. Très propre pour SDB, WC, cuisine et linge... mais étonnamment beaucoup de poussières dans les coins et étagères ! Les hôtes sont adorables et très respectueux de l'intimité de leurs locataires. Au vu des températures caniculaires, un climatiseur d'appoint semble indispensable à l'étage. Nous avons beaucoup souffert de la chaleur la nuit.... heureusement que la piscine était là. Merci à Kay et Niels pour ce petit coin de paradis.

Niel et Key ont acquis la demi-propriété d’une ferme et ils y ont aménagé un gîte contigu. L’accueil et les bons conseils étaient parfaits. Les propriétaires sont très discrets et permettent de partager tant leur piscine que leurs différents jardins et potager. La seule proposition que l’on pourrait leur suggérer serait de séjourner eux-mêmes quelques jours dans le gîte afin de mettre en évidence quelques détails qui pourraient améliorer le confort ou la vie pratique des locataires.

Vacances parfaites

Nous avons séjourné dans ce gite pour la 2ème année consécutives, la maison est très agréable, la piscine est de bonne taille et le jardin est extraordinaire. Les enfants ont été ravies de leur séjour. Kay et Neil, les sympathiques hôtes sont discrets, disponibles. Nous avons pu déguster les boissons fraiches et la nourriture offertes à notre arrivée. Le cadre est agréable, reposant, parfait pour se détendre. Nous recommandons volontiers cette maison.

Unforgettable holidays at Kay and Neil's!

Kay and Neil, are exceptional hosts. They welcomed us with open arms and made us feel at home from the first moment. The house was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable week-long stay. The surroundings were a true oasis, full of greenery, flowers and trees that provided us with refreshing shade during the heatwave. Internet works perfectly. The best thing for our little girl was undoubtedly the private pool, where she spent hours having fun. We will definitely be back to Kay and Neil's house, as soon as possible. Thank you for everything! Des vacances inoubliables chez Kay et Neil ! Kay et Neil sont des hôtes exceptionnels. Ils nous ont accueillis à bras ouverts et nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous dès le premier instant. La maison était impeccable et avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin pour un séjour confortable d'une semaine. L'environnement était un véritable oasis, plein de verdure, de fleurs et d'arbres qui nous offraient une ombre rafraîchissante pendant la canicule. Internet fonctionne parfaitement. Le paradis

Pour ceux qui aiment la tranquillité, c'est l'endroit idéal, la maison est très confortable, propre, le jardin extraordinaire. La piscine est grande, bien ensoleillée. Tout était parfait. Les hôtes sont extrêmement accueillants, discrets, à l'écoute. Nous reviendrons c'est certain.

Sejour a Madiran

Hôtes tres accueillants et disponibles, à l ecoute de nos besoins et ayant de delicates attentions. Magnifique jardin. Gite tres bien agencé, tres propre, cuisine tres bien équipée. Interieur neuf et moderne. Petite terrasse donnant sur le jardin. Tres calme.

Une destination sereine avec tout le charme bucolique anglais

Nous avons l'habitude de louer dans cette belle région du sud-ouest, attirés par le festival de Jazz de Marciac. A moins 1/2 heure du village, les Tournesols sont parfaitement situés pour profiter du calme de la campagne après les soirées jazzy endiablées de Marciac. Kay et Niel sont des hôtes parfaits : discrets, gentils, disponibles, généreux.Tout a été fait pour que nous profitions sereinement du lieu. Un logement aménagé dans la grange avec goût, parfaitement équipé, deux terrasses, une piscine et un jardin anglais fleuri, tout cela rien que pour nous. Au potager parmi les fruits et légumes, nous avons cueilli framboises, tomates cerises, mures... dont nous nous sommes régalés. Les tournesols ont été comme un cocon dans lequel nous avons passé de belles journées paisibles. A 1h de Pau, 2h de Toulouse et de Biarritz et la proximité de Maubourguet et Madiran pour le marché et l'approvisionnement classique. Un beau séjour campagne chic que nous recommandons.

Jolie maison au calme, entourée d'un magnifique jardin 🌼 Les propriétaires sont très discrets. Nous pouvions nous servir dans le potager et avions un total accès à la magnifique piscine. Annonce 100% conforme à la description. Merci à Neil et Kay pour votre accueil 😊

Un petit paradis au milieu des vignes

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans la location de Kay et Neil. La petite maison est très confortable et propre, et le jardin et la piscine sont exceptionnels ! Pendant tout le temps du séjour Kay et Neil donnent un accès exclusif au jardin et à la piscine et se font extrêmement discrets, ne révélant leur présence que par l'ajout de petits présents (le lendemain de notre arrivée, une licorne géante gonflable a fait son apparition dans la piscine, comme par magie, pour la plus grande joie de nos filles). Le potager est exceptionnel et nous avons pu nous servir à notre guise. Le tour du jardin et le ramassage des mûres est devenu le rituel du soir pour les filles. Vraiment nous avons passé un excellent séjour déconnecté, ressourçant et reposant chez Kay et Neil et avons pu découvrir la région paisiblement. Kay et Neil nous ont accueilli chaleureusement et ont toujours été adorables. Nous ne pouvons que recommander de séjourner chez eux !

C'est toujours une grande satisfaction pour nous de savoir que les familles ont apprécié leur séjour ici et rentrent chez elles détendues. Nous sommes ravis que la licorne gonflable ait procuré tant de plaisir à vos deux petites filles. C'était agréable de les entendre rire et glousser dans le jardin. Rustig vakantieverblijf

Wij werden heel enthousiast ontvangen bij aankomst. Alles was piekfijn in orde. We hadden niets tekort voor een aangenaam verblijf. Wij kregen heel wat uitleg over de streek, activiteiten in de buurt, lekker restaurantjes, ... Wij hebben genoten en onze batterijen zijn weer helemaal opgeladen om er weer in te vliegen.
