Das Charming Bristolian ist ein privates Ferienhaus in erster Linie für den Eigentümer, steht aber aufgrund seiner Nachfrage nun auch anderen Urlaubern zur Verfügung. Dies ist ein Neubau und 3 Schlafzimmer stehen für kurzfristige Vermietungen zur Verfügung. Die Preise verstehen sich pro Zimmer. Sie erhalten 25% Rabatt für das 2. Zimmer und 50% Rabatt für das 3. Zimmer, die bei Ankunft zu zahlen sind. Das Haus ist voll möbliert, ruhig und friedlich. Es ist 5 Autominuten vom berühmten Plattenspieler und 15 Autominuten von den Strandhotels in Senegambia entfernt. Das Haus ist gut gepflegt, gut präsentiert mit einer Bantaba draußen. Es gibt einen Büroraum und einen Waschsalon zum Waschen. Der Gast muss nach sich selbst putzen und das Haus aufräumen. Der Co-Gastgeber wird das Haus vor und nach dem Check-in und Check-out reinigen.

Not What it Seems

I have seen spiders, water bugs in bathroom multiple times. I have seen 2 lizards in the place. Several times water was shut off, but came back on by morning. WiFi is slow, and cannot watch a program without it reloading throughout the show, because the caretaker every night has his friends over watching shows with them all connecting their phones/devices to the router slowing it up. There is not a day I don't smell marijuana on the caretaker and his friends when I encounter them. One evening coming in I found the front gate had a padlock on it locking my wife in, and caretaking not there. With me not knowing or being told I had the key to the front gate I was force to climb the wall to jump over the gate to get back in. My major concern was my wife locked in on the property, and not being told by the caretaker he leaving and locking bv the gate. What if an emergency occurred and my wife locked in on the property. Careless caretaker, and thoughtless. May God mercy be on the one who lies on the innocent.

This is not a true reflection of the property. This property is very clean and tidy, has a new care taker who is very helpful and friendly. We have installed a new WiFi network, you can watch films and YouTube with no issue. Every room has air-conditioning.

Homecoming

I love this property. It is located in one of the best and most secured neighborhoods in the country. I found it to be relaxing, with amenities that work all the time. The property is also located close to a major intersection where I was able to shop for groceries, enjoy delicious meals at nice restaurants, bought fresh fruits that I missed such as mango and kabaa, and had pleasant chats with locals. There are gas stations in the same area with small convenience stores that I used whenever I wanted a quick chakerie. I also walked up to the main road, about a ten minute walk, whenever I wanted a taxi. On a couple of occasions, when the neighbors saw me walking, they offered me a ride to the main road where I found a taxi easily. The property is about a ten minute ride to the beaches and major hotels and restaurants. I liked it because I had all of the privacy I was looking for. The guy who watches the place is always available and goes above and beyond to ensure that I was happy with my stay. He would not even let me open the door on my own. Sometimes, I would feel bad and ask him not to worry about it. But he still insisted and he does it with a pleasant smile all the time. The electricity works all the time and it is pleasant to sit outside in the late afternoons and evening to take in fresh air and breezes as the sun sets into the night. I enjoyed cooking several meals there with my wife and we welcomed both of our families to the properties a couple of times to have family events that we both enjoyed. Everyone who visited us there said pleasant comments about the property and the space that it provided. The washer worked excellent and we simply dried the clothes outside where the sun dried them within the blink of an eye. The internet connection was fantastic and very helpful to me. Although I was on vacation, I also had to teach a couple of online courses. I was very worried about being able to teach my classes. However, with the excellent connection that the place provided, I was able to teach all of my classes online, remained in constant communication with my students in New York, graded all of their work, and provided them feedback that they needed to be successful in my courses. I was very happy about that because I did not lose any time in completing my work. I was able to remain in constant communication with my children in New York. We spoke five times each day for more than an hour each time and it felt great.
