Das 1854 erbaute Carlogie House ist ein exklusives Ferienhaus für bis zu 24 Personen in 12 prächtigen Zimmern mit Bad, von denen sich eines im Erdgeschoss befindet und vollständig zugänglich ist. Dieses wunderschön renovierte viktorianische Herrenhaus befindet sich auf einem 2 Hektar großen privaten Gartengrundstück und vermittelt das Gefühl eines ländlichen Landhauses. Das Stadtzentrum von Carnoustie erreichen Sie bequem zu Fuß und den Open Golf Course in 5 Minuten.

Dieses Anwesen wurde aufwendig im modernen Landhausstil renoviert und ist der perfekte Ort für Gruppenferien, Familienfeiern oder Hochzeiten. Das Haus ist eine elegante Mischung aus traditionellen Elementen und moderner Dekoration mit einem modernen schottischen Touch.

Die Lounge mit offenem Kamin, der Barbereich und die Küche sind alle offen gestaltet und bieten einen großen Raum, den jeder zusammen genießen kann. Die Küche wurde speziell für große Gruppen mit 2 Öfen, 2 Geschirrspülern, 2 Kühlschränken und einem separaten Weinkühlschrank entworfen, um den Luxus zu erhöhen. Platz ist in Hülle und Fülle mit einem weiteren formellen Esszimmer, einer zusätzlichen Butler-Küche, einem Spielzimmer, einem Wintergarten, einem Wellnessbereich mit Dampfbad, einer Dusche und einem Umkleidebereich.

Auf der Rückseite befindet sich ein umzäunter Gartenbereich, der sowohl von der Lounge als auch vom Dampfbad aus zugänglich ist. Er umfasst eine Terrasse, 2 Whirlpools, einen Innenhof, eine Feuerstelle und Sitzgelegenheiten für warme Sommertage und kalte Winternächte.

Family golf trip!

Communication with Susan was great from the start. Carlogie House well positioned between golf courses, with a quick drive, or nice walk to Carnoustie. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic Scottish Accommodation

Our family, from Canada, 23 of us including a 1 year old stayed at Carlogie House in June. All declared it a wonderful location, with perfect accommodation. Every room has its own bathroom, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. We purchased food locally and on most days families took turns cooking. As well we hired Kirrie Dumplings to cater on two occasions. The wonderful open space allowed lots of social occasions and the games room was perfect for late night pool and fun.

Best vacation ever

We had a total of 16 people in our family stay here for 8 nights. This house was truly spectacular. The host was great. She was very responsive and accommodating. The size was perfect for our large family. We each had our own bedrooms. The house had everything you could think of. When we were leaving my grandson asked if we could stay for an extra week. When we find ourselves back in Scotland we will definitely book this house again.

An exciting place to come home to after a long day.

Perfect for a family gathering of 20 people. It’s about a 15-20 min walk to/from the train station and grocery store (we did it a couple times), but I’d recommend a cab or a rental car to get around. The best part of the trip was the excitement of returning to the house after a long day of adventures, and hearing the constant laughter of the children running up and down the halls while playing hide and seek in their very own castle. So much to do both inside and outside the house. Looking forward to visiting again.

Three-generation family reunion from six US states..

We had been planning a family reunion in Scotland for several years and finally found a beautiful location that would house all 24 of us comfortably. Everything about this house was wonderful. A lovely walk to the train, pubs, downtown Carnoustie, a beautiful beach, and marvelous playground complete with zipline for the children. The hostess, Susan, was accomodating in every regard and aided us in our preparations prior to our visit. The beautiful grounds provided a perfect venue for a falconry demonstration that was one of the many highlights of our visit. Carlogie House was a home away from home for our family of all ages and an experience we will always remember! Thank you so much, Susan!

Scotland Visit

We were a group of 22 friends and family. We stayed at Carlogie House from August 1 to August 10 and could not have been happier. When we arrived by bus from Glasgow airport Susan was at the house to meet us. She gave us a tour of the house so we would be familiar with everything. The location of this house is perfect. It is a little under a mile and a half from the center of town which is a short distance to the beach, train station and Carnoustie Golf Links. Our group definitely enjoyed walking to town on our free day. We hired Braw Tours and had 5 days touring the area including Edinburgh, St Andrews, many castles and even Kingsbarn whiskey distillery. One of the highlights for us was our catering crew, Kirries Dumpling, Janet, Debbie and the girls were fantastic providing breakfast and lunch everyday. We highly recommend them, very reasonable rates and excellent food. The house was fantastic, we were able to assign room ahead of arrive as each room has it’s own name. Everything provided was utilized. The game room with pool table, hot tubs everyday, the bar in use every night, washer and dryer were a big help. The dining room is spectacular. Susan was available to help with any problems. Our visit was super and we would definitely return! Thanks Susan for providing us with a wonderful vacation!

We traveled from Canada as a group and this house had everything we needed. Such a perfect space.

Susan has been wonderful at every step of the way. She was there to great us and walk through the space, and checked in on us periodically via email to make sure we did not want for anything. The property was everything and more. I can't recommend this space enough. We traveled with several families for our wedding, and the space held the group so well. Each bedroom having its own amenities was perfect. The hottubs were a hit, and we're well maintained, as were the grounds. We had several cooks in the kitchen at any given time; this space was made for entertaining! With 3 different refrigeration spaces, there was ample space for a weeks worth of groceries. As an award winning Architect and Construction Company the renovation of Carlogie House has truly been a labour of love. We are a family business and we are all extremely proud of Carlogie House and all the work from the whole team that was put into refurbishing what was already a truly exceptional house.
We went to view this property in July 2018 and immediately fell in love with the building and the surroundings. Now the works are complete we love welcoming guests to this unique property.

Carlogie House is a Victorian Mansion House that has been designed with entertaining in mind. Although packed with traditional features its layout of large open plan spaces makes it ideal for social gatherings and different from the cellular nature of a lot of traditional properties. With a new kitchen in the heart of the social area cooking and catering will be a pleasure. If you have more formal entertaining in mind the magnificent dining room, with separate butler's kitchen, seats 24 and can be laid out for more if required or, if you would rather entertain outside, there is BBQ, dining area, fire pit, seating and 2 hot tubs all within enclosed garden area.

Carlogie House has all the original features and romance of a Victorian Country Mansion House with all the facilities and comfort of a fully modernised property, tastefully decorated in contemporary Country House style, the house has been equipped and furnished to ensure it is the ideal location for holidays and celebrations.
All 12 bedrooms are ensuite with the Tummel Bedroom having the second floor all to itself and the luxury bathroom in the Turret.
The layout of the main social space with open plan kitchen, living, dining and bar area has been created to ensure everyone can socialise together. From here you can spill out to the external entertainment space and garden with hot tubs, fire pit, external seating and al fresco dining facilities.
Located within 2 acres of garden ground, it has a distinctly Country House feel, although still within walking distance of shops, restaurants and bars of the famous golfing town of Carnoustie .
