Step into island life from the 22nd floor of Waikiki Banyan - a beautifully renovated 600 sq ft condo that puts you right in the heart of Honolulu's most iconic neighborhood. From the moment you arrive, the sweeping mountain and city views set the tone for a relaxed, sun-soaked Hawaiian getaway. Whether you're here for the beach, the food scene, or simply to unwind, this comfortable retreat keeps everything you need close at hand.



The space

The open layout makes great use of every square foot. The living area is set up with two reclining futon sofas, a coffee table, and a 43" Samsung Smart TV - perfect for unwinding after a day out. A window A/C unit keeps things cool, and fast Wi-Fi (214 Mbps) means you can stream, video call or work remotely without interruption.



Sleeping arrangements

The bedroom is separated from the living area by a sliding door for added privacy. It features:

Perfect location in Waikiki

If you are looking for a basic but clean and accommodating place to stay while enjoying Waikiki, then this is the place to be. The condo is 2 minutes short walk to the beach and the beach has calm water with little to no waves- so perfect for my 2 year old. Condo is big enough to sleep family of 6. It’s clean and the kitchen has everything we need to cook a meal. We would definitely go back!

Close to everything!

This is a very cute little condo unit. Smaller than the pictures show, but it comfortably fit 6 people (2 adults, 4 children) without any problems! We found the unit in excellent condition, very clean, and very well stocked. The air-conditioning unit worked perfectly, and the temperature was very comfortable. There were also some beach toys, and a cooler available for our day use, which was very helpful It's walking distance to great restaurants, shops, and the beach. The free parking was a huge bonus, as well.

Great place, walking distance to the beach!

We loved our stay here this past week. My husband, our two boys (3 and 1), and my mom stayed for 5 nights and it was the perfect size. We had plenty of room for a pack and play, lots of space for the kids, and they were stocked with all of the necessities. It looked just as the pictures described, and was literally less than 10 minutes to walk to the beach/shops. The welcome email had all of the info we could need and the directions were easy to follow. If I could nitpick anything, the beds weren’t the most comfortable, but we have a tempurpedic at home so we are spoiled. We would definitely stay again!

Nice, clean, great location

Stayed with my family. Two nice, clean queen beds and two futon couches if you need them. Four beach towels and two beach chairs. We wished for two more beach chairs and a beach umbrella would’ve been nice. Plenty of coffee filters. Two ice cube trays. No balcony. Mountain View.

Poor management.

This apartment is old, but clean. No one told us that Hotel doesn’t store your laguege liability reasons. Because we didn’t booked this room true Hotel. We had to check out at 11:00 am our flight was at 10:30 pm. We set on the 6st floor with infant couldn’t do anything that day in order to watch our laguege. We will never book our acomodation true this company.

Very pleasant with great view!

We visited Waikiki for the first time. It was a very pleasant stay. The chairs and boogie boards were much appreciated. This property is a short walk to the beach as well as many great restaurants. The staff on site were extremely professional. The building is well maintained. The room, although small, accommodated all of our needs. We had no need for ac during our stay but there is a wall unit if needed. The staff at the property management are extremely kind and very personable.

Great Vacation

The property's location was perfect, just a short walking distance from the beach. Additionally, the shuttle buses for most of the activities we had scheduled picked up & dropped off at the Marriott, which was right next door. Even though we couldn't see the ocean from our room, we did have a good view of the mountains and the Ala Wai canal. The room was clean, full of natural sunlight and very pleasant. We had planned on a party of six, but two of them had to cancel, leaving us with just four. That turned out to be for the best, as occupying that space with that many people for a week would have been to too crowded and too close. Four worked out just fine. If we visit Hawaii again, we'll likely sample a different island, but if we return to Honolulu, we'll seriously consider another stay at the Waikiki Banyan.

Perfect for us!

This unit was perfect for us... we were in Honolulu to attend and celebrate our daughter’s graduation from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and to have a little vacation. The unit was clean and ready for us when we checked in. Having access to parking was also a plus. It was fitted with all the dishes, utensils and cookware to prepare our meals, and all the linen and bedding to accommodate all 6 of us. The location is ideal, too. We walked to the beach and great restaurants, and still had easy access to shopping near by. We were also very grateful to Christian and his staff (property managers) for their quick responses to our emails and phone calls and more than willing to accommodate us! The amazing gift that we received was the views!! Everyday we were able to enjoy wonderful views of the beautiful green mountains, the rains marching out of Manoa Valley, and the beautiful rainbows stretching from valley to valley! Breathtaking!! We are looking forward to our next visit VERY SOON!

OLD, TIRED, DONT STAY HERE.

Many reasons not to stay here. OLD TIRED apartment at least 30 year old kitchen and bathroom. Curtains that dont block out at all waking you up at 5.30 each morning. Old fashion air con box style that is noisy and you need going 24/7 to cool the place down. Whole facility is run down , pool and surrounds old and worn out, l could go on. Carpet in the foyers thread bare and whole place needs a good paint as it is scruffy and worn. You pay for what you get and this place is just barely better than backpackers. Save your dollars say one less night and go somewhere better.

Dear Viktoria, We are sorry the property and the building did not meet your expectations. This unit is exactly as per pictures and description. It is not advertised as a luxury unit. It is a nice and affordable, well maintained condo with beautiful mountain views for up to 6 people. Our guests like this unit, and we received lots of positive feedback. Waikiki Banyan is a well looked after, professionally maintained building . It is popular among vacationers and appreciated by many guests. The building is located in the heart of Waikiki, close to the beach, and has great amenities for family fun. The recreation deck is well maintained and just recently had swimming pool maintenance work done. The AC is a typical window unit that is used in Hawaii and works well. Great alternative to overpriced hotel room

It was the first time that we rented an apartment rather than staying at a hotel in Honolulu. Turned out to be a good decision - our apartment was spotless, spacious and well equipped and did cost much less than a family room in any of the hotels nearby. We loved the view of Honolulu's mountain side, very beautiful at night as well. The staff at Midway Realty were very helpful, answering all questions patiently, even on weekends. Overall a very positive experience.

Nice building- Beautiful view- Great for family of 5

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was in a great location! We had access to a lovely koi pond, pool, playground, snack bar area, and coin laundry down the hall. The sweeping view of the mountains and Ala Wai Canal was a major bonus! Our only complaint is that the mattresses were terrible- like sleeping in a crater. My husband & I ended up with back pain and sleeping on the hard futons, while our kids seemed fine sleeping in the craters. Overall, this is a much better value than a tiny hotel room, and the condo with kitchen worked well for our family of 5. If the mattresses were upgraded, we would certainly stay here again.

Convenient location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We only were there for two nights before leaving for Kauai. Excellent location two blocks from the beach, shopping and restaurants. The room was fine for two nights. (All we did was sleep in it). There were 5 of us and we used the two sofas/futons and the two beds. One of Queen beds beds in the bedroom was quite uncomfortable as it was soft and dipped in the middle (every time you turned over). Also, there's one AC in the living room that works fine. You'll need to crank it, however, in order for the bedroom to remain cool. No supplies whatsoever. We had about 1/4 of a roll of toilet tissue when we arrived, so had to go buy another roll for our additional night. Nice view. It suited our needs as we were only there for a short stay.

Hi Pam, Thank you for your review and feedback. After your check-out, we noticed that the box spring of the bed you complained about was broken. So we replaced the bed shortly after your stay. Regarding the lack of supplies, I am very sorry for that. You should have contacted us, we would have brought immediately more toilet paper and whatever more was missing. We normally ALWAYS leave 2 to 3 toilet paper rolls, 1 kitchen paper roll, sponge, body lotion, shampoo, bar soap, hand soap, dish soap and coffee in each all our units, before each check-in. I can't understand how it could happen that our housekeeping crew forgot to leave all these items in the unit before your check-in. We are sorry for that. Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the unit was good, great views of the mountains! The cleaner used was very strong so we had to air out the place for a while but started to smell cigarette smoke from outside so we closed the sliding door. There were no outlets in the vanity bathroom area which was odd but there were a ton of mirrors so we could blow dry our hair in the bedroom/living space. As far as location, this was our first time to Oahu and after just coming from Maui we would have preferred a less crowded area.
