Faubourg / Elysées ist ein charmantes Apartment mit 2 Schlafzimmern, das sich auf einer oberen Etage befindet (mit Aufzug erreichbar). Es bietet einen besonders hellen, luftigen Blick auf die Faubourg Saint Honoré und bietet alles Notwendige, um einen ruhigen und angenehmen Aufenthalt in der "Stadt der Lichter" zu gewährleisten.

Das komfortable Interieur umfasst eine moderne amerikanische Küche mit einem Induktionsherd, einem Backofen, einem Geschirrspüler, einem großen Kühl- / Gefrierschrank, einer Waschmaschine und einem Trockner. Das Hauptschlafzimmer ist mit einem Doppelbett ausgestattet und es gibt ein kleines Schlafzimmer mit einem Einzelbett. Das Badezimmer ist luxuriös mit Mosaikfliesen und einer verglasten Badewanne und Dusche ausgestattet. Ein Murphy-Bett im Salon kann durch einfache Manipulation in den Dienst gedrückt werden und bietet Platz für zwei zusätzliche Gäste. Überall in der Wohnung gibt es reichlich Stauraum. Ein großer HD-Flachbildfernseher ist an Dutzende von Kabelstationen sowie an Apple TV, Netflix und OCS angeschlossen. Es gibt eine blitzschnelle Glasfaser-WLAN-Verbindung und kostenlosen Telefondienst in die europäischen Länder und nach Nordamerika!

Das Hotel befindet sich im achten Arrondissement auf der Faubourg Saint Honoré im Herzen der Stadt (direkt gegenüber vom Bristol Hotel Palace und dem Innenministerium am Place Beauvau). Man entdeckt es, wenn man einfach die Tür rausgeht die besten Einkaufsstraßen der Welt. Faubourg / Elysées ist nur einen Steinwurf von Chanel, Prada, Lanvin, Hermès, Goyard und den Juwelieren des Place Vendôme entfernt. Das Apartment liegt nur 10 Gehminuten von der Avenue Montaigne und den Champs Elysées mit ihren feinen Restaurants, Clubs und Kinopalästen entfernt. Zentrale Lage, prima Ausstattung

Wir waren im Herbst mit 4 Personen in der Wohnung. Sie liegt sehr zentral, Busse Metro, ein kleiner Supermarkt und eine Bäckerei sind schnell fußläufig zu erreichen. Auch die Champs-Élysées sind in wenigen Minuten erreicht. In direkter Nachbarschaft befinden sich viele Galerien und Geschäfte mit hochpreisigen Artikeln, nicht ganz unsere Preisklasse, aber zum Gucken interessant. Restaurants gibt es zahlreich von Sterneküche bis normaler Brasserie ist alles vorhanden. Buchung, Check-in und Kommunikation mit Jean-Paul waren super unkompliziert. Die Wohnung besteht aus 2 Schlafzimmern, einem großen Wohn-/Essbereich und einer gut ausgestatteten, offenen Küche. Der Essbereich lässt sich mit Schiebetüren abtrennen, dadurch entsteht ein weiteres Zimmer. Aus dem Wandschrank lässt sich ein weiteres Bett klappen. Insgesamt stehen 3 Betten in bis zu 3 Räumen zur Verfügung. Die Wohnung ist sauber, teilweise etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber völlig in Ordnung. Wir können die Wohnung uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Could use a facelift.

Basic amenities. Washer/dryer a plus. Comfortable mattresses. Bathroom could use a serious clean-up. In general, not as pristine as it appears in photos. I would caution anyone with mobility issues to stay away from the step-up stairs into the deep bathtub that doubles as a shower. No grab bars of any kind inside the shower space.

Great location - lovely apartment

We were impressed with the Faubourg apartment. It is a very convenient location in a quiet neighborhood. The apartment was spacious for 2 people and appointed nicely. The check-in and check-out process was easy and very clear. The owner was in touch as we need during our stay.

Great location

The flat was in a good and what felt like a safe location. It was walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The beds were comfortable and although it had some cookware, it was lacking some of the basics like salt & pepper, sugar, garbage cans, etc. It was as described by the photos and my only negative comment is that it while it was clean enough, it could benefit from a deep clean. On the positive side, communication with JP was great and check in and out was easy.

Stayed a month so know it well

we stayed the entire month of May 2024 so this is very accurate as we had the time to make lots of observations Pros.Hosts incredibly helpful entire time even with non property related issues. Location good and safe.place had w/d and blow dryer. Close to metro and champs D’lysee Cons. Not as pictured. No 2nd sink in bathroom which is tiny and no where for soap etc by sink. you lose the dining room if you want second full bed and twin room is not realistic for an adult. No curtain, place to put things or storage construction noise kept us from getting full nights sleep consistently Cleaner left a LOT of areas filthy (behind/under…) hall lights out so not easy or safe to use Stairs at night/in bad light. Linens/towels tired. Furniture wasn’t all that pics showed and is not nearly as nice in person. Could use more rugs hooks art … warmth No ice machine as listed nor ice trays Because we lost dining area in lieu of 2nd Murphy bed, we had to eat at coffee table which has been replaced with one hosting a giant hole in the center making it challenging to use. We were looking to make this a home away from home to celebrate a milestone but it did not feel that way. We made it work but it was disappointing

Almost Perfect Parisian Pad

Unfortunately I contracted Covid a couple of days before we were due to travel to Paris in October 2023! However David, the lovely host, very kindly allowed us to move the booking to April 2024 instead! We had a fantastic holiday. Although not brilliantly clean - the apartment is in the most amazing location and we could walk to many of the sights. It is also a very safe place to stay as it's right next to the Elysee! The area is quite smart with lots of designer shops and small art galleries. We found a fabulous boulangerie very close by and a mini Carrefour where we could buy all our supplies. The kitchen in the apartment needed a bit of a clean but once we'd done that we found it all the equipment we needed to cook decent evening meals. After lots of walking and sightseeing during the day we were very happy to relax in the evenings on comfortable sofas in front of the large TV. Initially my daughter found her bedroom was lacking charm and felt a little like a prison cell, but once she had put out her books, clothes and accessories it felt more homely. Overall we loved our stay in this chic apartment and would come again.

Good location in the 8th but stay somewhere else

Firstly, good location If you’re interested in staying the the 8th. Check in was fairly straight forward, communication with the manager was fine. Once in you could see the property was not well cleaned. Under the sink was 2 still wet tea towels wrapped around our months old kitchen scourer, no kitchen towels. Then we realized there was no toilet paper, contacted the property manager and he told us to buy some and he would reimburse us. Lots of little things were just below average- the towels were fairly old, the towel holder in the bathroom fell out. Then on the last 2 days construction started at 8am directly upstairs. Even though when I read the previous guests review where he said there was construction I checked and the property manager assured us that it was finished. No feedback from him after I sent him video evidence.

Unacceptable Property

To begin, the check-in process was fine. I texted John Paul several times and the driver found the location without any problem. The issues began when we entered the dwelling. John Paul had allowed me to place my luggage inside before it was cleaned ( I arrived a 6 am). No problem. Entering the apartment, I was appalled at the quality of the furnishings. Everything was cheap, rundown and poorly maintained. It reminded of a youth hostel. In the photos of the property you really cannot ascertain the poor quality of the furnishings nor the setup. One bedroom is actually a Murphy bed in the dining room with a disgusting mattress. Then the jack-hammering began! Construction noise taking place upstairs was unbearable. I immediately called John Paul and complained. He asked me to wait until the cleaning was done and to return later (he thought I was more concerned about the cleanliness of the unit rather than the overall condition). There was no way I could stay there for 9 days. I left for an hour and returned. During that time I found a hotel for the night but knew I would have to find another place to stay. I returned to retrieve my luggage an hour later. The cleaner was leaving. He cleaned the entire unit in 1 hour? I called the next day to complain, especially about the construction. He stated "they have been working in the building for 2 years, how was I to know when they would return?" He should have disclosed that. He did not. I found another property.

Lovely stay

Spacious bright apartment located in premium shopping district in walking distance of the Eiffel Tower, Arc d’Triumph, Louve Museum and Notre Dame. Cafes and restaurants close by. Markets and bakeries also a short walk. Gare St Lazare also a 15 minute walk away. Perfect for a stay in Paris. Hosts were wonderful and accommodating.

Cool Weather in Paris

It was so nice to be in cooler weather in a beautiful city. The location of the apartment couldn’t have been better. We enjoyed relaxing there after exploring the city with our children. The nespresso machine made the mornings easier after long evenings. We all absolutely loved the apartment.

Wonderful location

We stayed in this property in July. The location was wonderful. We were able to walk to the Eiffel tower and the Arc de Triumph. Although a little longer we walked to Notre Dame and the left bank. There was a nearby grocery store and many restaurants and bakeries. The apartment kitchen was equipped with all the appliances anyone would need and surprisingly an actual clothes dryer (not common in Europe). Jean Paul was great to deal with and check in was easy. When we met him I did tell him there were some cleaning issues and he said his cleaning person was new and would talk to them.

Great Stay in Madeleine

The apartment is wonderfully located and exactly as pictured. Check in and communication was smooth and clear. It was easy to walk down the street to the pharmacie to obtain toiletries and to the Carrefour for espresso pods. Had a great visit to Paris with my husband, kids (6&4), and mother.

4 night stay in Paris

The apartment was in an excellent location. We were only about 30 minutes from any sights we wanted to see. It was great to be so close to restaurants and a grocery store as well. We did take the metro, but getting an Uber was handy too. The apartment was big enough for our family of 4 and we did convert the dining room into a 3rd bedroom. Elevator was a definite bonus. Jean-Paul was very helpful and responded quickly to any requests. Our only issue was we felt that the apartment could have been cleaner and was much less welcoming than other VRBOs we have stayed at. Simple things like lack of hand soap, general information about how to get around from the apartment, restaurant recommendations etc... we could only turn the air conditioning on for an hour on hot Paris nights. Overall, the apartment just needs some more attention.

Location Superb - 8th Arris.

My wife, 25 year-old son and I loved this unit. Upon arrival flat was easy to access and Jean-Paul was superb. The Murphy bed in dining room provided an extra private sleeping space, in addition to the 2 bedrooms. Great location- within a mile of Arc de Triomphe, great shopping, and Metro lines. The unit was accessed by small elevator and is across the street form the luxurious Bristol Hotel. Within a block of the Presidential home the neighborhood was sparkling clean, upscale and safe. Wine store, a boulongerie, and groceries were within walking distance. Wonderful!
