On the first night of our stay she discriminated against our service animal stating her dissatisfaction of our having one at the property and that the result could be fines. She claimed we were supposed to disclose service animals but meant pets, however working service animals are not pets and we are not required to provide "papers" as she stated. She also said we needed to confine her to one room. This is discrimination against the Virginia service animal laws as well it goes against VRBO policy for service animals. My daughter who suffers from anxiety as well as other medical disorders was traumatized by hearing this phone call and avoided family participation throughout our stay. She reclused herself to the bedroom. Please review the state as well as VRBO's service animal policy so no other families encounter this awful treatment. I also have pictures of other items of concern at the rental that should be addressed, such as the roach on the bedroom wall at night, the broken metal furniture on the balcony that tore my daughters pants and the black mold on the bathroom ceiling.
