This house was even better than we thought it would be! Clean, comfortable, spacious with plenty of room to gather, spread out, cook, eat, sleep, shower -- we had a group of 12 women for the weekend and we had the absolute BEST time ever!! We spent so much time on the porch around the big table. Cooking was a pleasure, kitchen was great and had everything we needed. Having a ton of beach chairs in the basement closet was very convenient. 15 minute walk to the little beach called Owen Park and town. My biggest complaint is having to rent our own linens and the check out procedure. Renting the linens (and towels!) for all the beds was an extra 200ish and we had to make all the beds ourselves which is not how you want to start your vacation, right?! And then on the last morning, check out is at 10 a.m. and so is the linen pick up. So, you have to strip all the beds, bag all the linens and towels and then in addition, take out all the trash cans, empty the dishwasher (couldn't load it and start it before leaving, all dishes had to be out). All before 10 am which made for a hectic and chaotic last morning on the island. Also, small note but for the amount of people that this house can sleep, more toilet paper should be provided. By the 3rd night, we were rationing TP between all the bathrooms and there was not enough stocked to accommodate our group for the length of the trip.

Outstanding Home

This is our 6th year here. We love the walk to town location, the lovely outdoor spaces, big living room, ample bedrooms and how well maintained the house is. So comfortable and welcoming. The property manager promptly helped with a minor issue. We will be back next year!

Vineyard Haven Gem

Happy to return to this lovely, spacious and peaceful VH home in 2023! We have previously enjoyed staying at this comfortable, perfectly located home for many years. Easy to lounge inside and out, as well as to walk to Main Street for restaurants, shopping and exercise classes. Scenic VH neighborhood is great to explore on foot, and driving to OB, ET and up island is easy enough.

Lovely Property!

We really enjoyed our stay at the property here! There was plenty of room, the home was clean and all showers and toilets worked. I spent many mornings on the spacious wooden deck getting my workouts in before getting going for the day. Fantastic family room that more-than-accommodated all 11 of us at the end of the days for games & movie nights. LOVED the location- only about a 10 min. walk to cute shops & restaurants. And neighborhood was great for walking/ running. Marcene was amazing with communication prior to our arrival and was very prompt in all responses. I very much appreciated that! Would love to stay here again the next time we find ourselves in MV.

COMFY AND SPACIOUS!

The property was perfect for our family of varied ages and interests. There is PLENTY of gathering space -- both indoors and outdoors -- for card/party games, video games, movie entertainment, eat-outs/cookouts, outdoor play, and much more. At the same time, there are nice nooks and crannies for reading, checking email or spending a little bit of "me" time. Finally, the proximity to all the people points on the Vineyard -- beaches, film festival events, eateries, etc. -- is just minutes away via walking, biking or car. If at all possible, we will definitely be repeat customers!

Quiet privacy

The lot is beautiful with a large front yard and spacious back deck and yard that is great for play and grilling outside. The house is spacious also with plenty of private spots to play games or relax and read. Large dining table seats 10 to 12 for great family dinners. The kitchen island works nicely to feed the little ones. The living room area is lovely and fits everyone comfortably. We had a nice family week together.

Spacious and family friendly

We enjoyed our stay at the house and had plenty of space for two families of four with smaller children plus a grandparent. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the Vineyard Haven commercial district. We also did a fair amount of cooking and the kitchen was pretty well-equipped. Overall, a really nice stay.

Great house and visit!

Our family enjoyed staying in the nicely appointed house! We had a big group and there was plenty of beds and bathrooms for us all. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was an additional beverage frig which came in handy. Property manager contacted us shortly after our arrival to ensure everything was OK, that was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend this house.

The Perfect Home!

This is the third year we have rented this property for a large family week long vacation. It is the perfect home and holds everyone. The space is designed to be open, so many can gather without feeling squeezed in. The spaces are beautifully decorated and the many outside seating options make it easy to gather with just a few or many. We cannot wait to go back next year!!

Our family of 14 found this home perfect for our needs. The property offered ample room for everyone to relax and enjoy the island. The home is well maintained and the grounds are beautiful and private. Family meals and game time were a pleasure in the spacious dinning and living rooms. Graduation Celebration

This property was everything it's says and more. Owner was very easy to work with, quick response, allowed an early check in when house was ready and fixed the internet issues quickly. House perfect for 2 family, opened floor plan, lots of private sleeping space and very well stocked for cooking meals and entertaining . Yard was great for lawn games and grilling. We enjoy the easy walk into town and short walk to the shoreline.

Family birthday

Our group included my wife and me and our three grown children without their own families as an 80th birthday gathering for my wife. Children loved vacationing at MV during the 70s so they wanted to celebrate her birthday here. They traveled from San Diego, Chicago and Buffalo and we from Tampa. The house was perfect as everyone had their own space. The travel to and from the island by air for 4 of us was not good due to many flight cancellations. Best to fly to Boston, take Peter Pan bus to Woods Hole and take the ferry to MV. Much safer! We all decided that!! You can’t go wrong here-house and grounds are beautiful and it’s an excellent location. We were very pleased. Needed AC for 2 days for heat wave, so that worked well.
