My family and i enjoyed it so much here, the house is amazing, pool is amazing, owners were amazing, and literally located close to all the action/entertainment, excursions, shopping and beaches, doesnt get much better than that!!

Beach Getaway

We had a fantastic stay at Port Aransas. The swimming pool was a hit, it kept the kids entertained and happy. The location was very convenient, allowed us to get to the beach and restaurants quickly. Host was EXTREMELY helpful throughout the entire stay. All in all, it was a memorable and relaxing getaway for everyone.

Perfect house!!

Top Notch Vacation House/Amazing Property

What a wonderful place and everything was perfect! This house is amazing and was spotless when we got there. The beds are comfortable, TV’s in every room, the kitchen has everything you need, awesome & relaxing pool and a short distance to the beach. The owner Travis made us feel welcomed and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again when we go back! Highly recommend Blue Anchor!

Absolutely loved our stay!

Great experience all the way around! Communications from the host were great, there were lots of little nice touches from the welcome bottle of wine to Bath & Body handsoaps, the house was practically new, adorable and super clean and the kids LOVED having a pool to themselves when we got back from the beach. An added plus was the great view of the 4th of July fireworks from the balcony! The master bed was a little saggy for our liking but all of the other beds were super comfy! We’ll definitely choose to stay here again!

Perfect in Every Way!

This is the second time we've stayed in this home and we loved it just as much as the first time around! It's a beautiful home with everything you need and conveniently located close to the beach. Birthday trip

We had an amazing time at Blue Anchor. The house itself was beautiful. It was clean, well stocked with everything you could possibly need, and the beds were super comfy. The private pool was the perfect place to relax when we didn’t feel like fighting the crowds at the beach. The location was great, close to the beach, yet far away enough to provide you with a little peace and quiet. The owner is awesome and was very easy to communicate with, quickly answering any questions we had. We can’t wait to come back to Blue Anchor again!

Great house & location + gorgeous pool

We loved our stay at the Blue Anchor even though we spent most of our time indoors due to a tropical storm. The pool is beautiful and was perfect for our young kids - I wish we would have rinsed out their suits and clothes after swimming because they got bleached from the chlorine. The layout was perfect for our family and kids loved the bunk room. Beds were very comfortable but furniture was pretty minimal - couch is tired and would have loved to have some sort of dresser in guests rooms. Would recommend curtains for windows since the house next door left their exterior lights on all night and shone very brightly into that sides room. Mini Travel crib available which worked great for our baby but would have been too small for our 2 yr old. We really enjoyed our stay! Communication with host was great. Coffee Waves has delicious breakfast sandwiches - highly recommend.

Great house and location!

Simple, clean, and awesome AC (so important with Port A humidity). Pool was a great bonus. Quiet neighbors. Kitchen had ample tools and we ate at home every meal but one - which was Domino’s 2 minutes away! (IGA has all the groceries you need, affordable priced, and only a 5 minute drive away.) Location is a 3 minute drive to a part of the beach that was never crowded. Ideal for families. Our kids - 10, 9, 7, and 5 loved the pool and the openness of the house. Many hours of play inside and out kept them busy and off technology. There are TV’s in everyone room, as well, for when you do want to veg. Super great stay! We’d love to come back next year!

Private Pool & a Margarita Machine = Awesome!!

The house is new and very clean, and had just about everything we needed to make our family spring break vacation perfect. The house has everything you need, including a new washer and dryer which allowed us to pack light for the drive down. The house is bright and open, and feels like home. The owners definitely put a lot of time and effort into ensuring guests would be comfortable! Smart TVs in every room were a major plus, which allowed for kids and adults to not be subject to each other’s viewing preferences. There are plenty of living/sleeping spaces to allow everyone to spread out. The owners were very nice, prompt and easy to work with. The coded lock on the front door was a life saver when wrangling a group of small children; we never had to worry where we put the key. The house is an easy walk to the beach. We opted to rent a golf cart in town that allowed us to go to the beach or town without getting any sand in the car. We truly appreciate allowing us to use your lovely home! You really must stay at ‘The Blue Anchor’ on your next trip.

End of Summer/Anniversary Trip

This was our second stay at the Blue Anchor. The home is beautiful,comfortable and in a great location. The property managers reply with quickness. Just so happened our trip fell in the middle of a tropical storm. But the house had everything and we still enjoyed the storms, games that were provided.

We are beach lovers through and through. We've gotten engaged on the beach, married on the beach, renewed vows on the beach and spent plenty of time on the beach, including Port Aransas. Port Aransas has become like a second home to us. Austin is our first home, but we make the semi-short trip down to Port A every chance we get. From family trips as kids, to Spring Breaks as college students to mini vacations as grown"ish" adults now, we've made so many memories here and knew one day we wanted to make the dream of owning a beach home here a reality. So, we did. Our favorite part was decorating the house. We wanted our guests to feel as if they were at home....but at the beach. So, we truly hope you enjoy our home and Port Aransas as much as we have and can't wait to have you visit!
