My husband and I stayed for the entire month of March at Robert's property .It is a fabulous house with an unbelievable kitchen .We thoroughly enjoyed our time in his home . Five bedrooms , plenty of room to eat , I highly recommend this property .The property manager was prompt with even the smallest of problems . The use of the car is a definite plus .

Beautiful house. My family of 11 came from all parts of the US for my Grandmother’s 100 th Birthday and the house was perfect for us to enjoy and relax. We had a minor issue but contacted the owner and he accommodated us as best he could. If we ever get back to Phoenix we definitely would stay again.

The initial process and communications with the owner were fine. The very first thing we noticed upon arrival was the lack of adequate lighting. Many of the rooms only had a very dim ceiling fan light and the remote controls didn't all work. So some rooms we had to use flashlights. The dining room only has candles, yup only a chandelier with real candles. We were not comfortable lighting candles, so you guessed it, more flashlights. We had young boys with us and had to remove several paintings with nudity. If you have a large group bring extra plates and utensils. There were many great things about this home and I didn't want to write this somewhat negative review but Robert has chosen to ignore my post stay communications. So, if you rent this home bring flashlights and batteries! For four hundred dollars per night the lights should work and it should be well stocked with dishes. We didn't bother calling Robert for more dishes because he stated that he lives in Italy. Update!! I've changed from three stars to one. Robert replied and was rude and called me names. After staying at many rented homes this is my first negative review. Avoid this house!! Oh, and by the way, the curtains in the master bedroom do not close.
It’s unfortunate that Ben didn’t fully enjoy his stay. Had he communicated his concerns during his stay to myself or my local property manager, I’m sure all would’ve been quickly resolved. However, he chose to inform me two days after the check out, and after I notified him of the damage his group had done to the master bedroom curtain rod that was completely destroyed. I’m really puzzled why they needed to use flashlights. Except for one burnt out bulb, all lights and remotes are fully operational and the lighting is adequate for every room of the house. Just in case however, we have now bought a couple of additional floor lights. As for the plates and utensils, we have enough for 12 people, but if you have a large group eating in and only run the dishwasher once a day, eventually you’re going to run out of clean plates. For situations like that, we have just bought extra plates, cups, mugs, glasses, knives and forks. As for the artwork, people have different taste obviously. All our paintings are clearly visible in the listing photos. If anything is objectionable for whatever reason, let us know and we’ll take it down for you. Problem solved. We are committed to our guest satisfaction and we do everything we can to make sure they have enjoyable stay, but they have to communicate. This home was our home before we moved to Italy for a few years, so its furnishings and decor reflects our personal taste, culture and the way of life. It’s not some cookie cutter rental with generic decorations.
