Sweet little l bedroom 1 bathroom on ground floor. Private, clean, helpful hosts, walking distance to Mevagissey town area, great shops, pubs, restaurants, etc. walking in the area is very vertical at times so be prepared for that. Private parking at the rental a bit tricky but doable. Had a great time there!

Excellent accommodation, very nice host

top equipped accommodation, nicely styled, super clean and an easy parking spot. You can sit in your own piece of garden ! Julie and her husband are very friendly people. Highly recommended

Comfortable apartment

Although compact the property had everything we needed for a short stay. We really appreciated the cream tea which the host had left for us!

Lovely stay at Orchards Apartment

Worked well for just the two of us. Able to walk into Mevagissey (easier into than out of - quite a steep hill). Owners live on site and are very friendly. Would stay again.

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful break, the apartment is lovely - very homely and spotlessly clean with thoughtful touches and everything we needed. We were also very grateful for the cream tea! The location is quiet and only a short walk to the harbour. Thanks for a great stay!

What a beautifully presented holiday let. Spotlessly clean and a lovely Cornish cream scone waiting for us. The owners are lovely and very welcoming. The decor is very tasteful and well coordinated. Mevagissey is a beautiful fishing village. It’s a short walk to a lovely beach or into the town but be prepared for a steep walk up and down to both, but it’s well worth the effort. The area is lovely and quiet too so great to get away from it all. You have access to a little private garden and also a terrace which captures the late afternoon sun. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thankyou.

Great location for a short break

The apartment was perfect for a couple - spacious, clean, warm, with all the usual amenities. It was a short walk into the village and had the benefit of off street parking. Mevagissey is hilly so it was a steep climb back up! Hosts were friendly and accessible if needed - and scones, jam and cream were a lovely welcome to find when we arrived.

Lovely little find

We booked so we could catch up with friends staying in Pentewan Sands. It was lovely and close by in Mevagissey. It was spotlessly clean and fresh. Thank you for the lovely cream tea that was left for us on arrival. Can’t recommend enough.

Great Cornwall location

Very nice apartment ideal for 2, good location in Mevagissey. Nice walk into town but quite a climb back not for the faint hearted. Mevagissey is a great little town everything you need lots of good eating places. The apartment is nicely furnished, very clean all you need for a pleasant stay. Owner on site very helpful. Parking not easy but nice to be off the road.

Very Good, a real gem.

Orchards Apartment is ideal for a couple wishing to stay in Mevagissey. It was immaculately presented, very clean, the hosts were friendly and informative, all of which made for a very pleasant experience. The location is a short walk (via a steep hill) into the harbour with it's collection of small shops, bars and restaurants, for a holiday in Mevagissey it is prefect, I would definitely recommend it.

Huisje Mevagissey

Goed ontvangst met scones; aardige gastheer en gastvrouw. Het huisje ligt centraal gelegen in Cornwall; mooie uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes. Voor lange mensen (>1.90) is het lastiger dat er een stang aan de achterkant van het bed zit. Verder prima verblijf met tuintje om in te zitten.

Our stay in Mevagissey

The property and the location definitely exceeded our expectations. Our issue however, and the reason we have not given 5 stars, is because of the attitude of the owners who lived on site - the apartment being part of the owners house. Their attitude at times came across as if we were an inconvenience which quite frankly made us feel unwelcome. The parking, whilst being off road, is very tight and the owners are very specific about where you have to park. Although it was nice to have a garden to sit in, for whatever reason the area was invested with wasps and therefore not at all pleasant. On one occasion we decided to move the chairs to outside our entrance door. The owner objected to this for some reason. To summarise we absolutely loved Mevagissey and the surrounding area and really liked being only a 10 minute walk away from the restaurants and pubs

Thank you for the review! Firstly parking - I sent you a message detailing where to park to make it easier for you to drive on/off but when we arrived you had parked right in the middle of the driveway making it impossible for us to park!!! Your husband with his sarcastic attitude finally managed to put his shoes on and moved the car to the correct parking spot (in his own time of course). Secondly chairs/table were moved right outside our own private garage area which is not the designated part of the apartment - we had to ask you to move so that we could actually drive to our parking area and your husband was incredibly irritable about it and the second time you repeated the same seating arrangement and again we asked you to move so that we could enter our private garage - and were confronted by your rather irritable husband again stating he had to put the chairs there because of a few wasps around the tree. Not once during your stay here did you use the actual garden attached to the apartment with private patio area, seating and no wasps!!! By the way wasps are around this time of year all over the UK. Thirdly 2 extra guests in the apartment!! We provided you with extra chairs when you sprang on us that you had in fact invited friends over for a meal not just on 1 occasion but 2. You booked the apartment knowing it only catered for 2 people - you also had no regard for the level of noise that the extra people caused us and also water, toilet etc being used. We suggest next time you book anywhere book a place that accommodates 4 people and not 2. Also not a good idea to move garden furniture inside the apartment without even asking. So let me see would we have you back again......absolutely not and you have to be the worst couple that we have ever encountered here and the only ones that have given such a feedback. Hopefully people will read this reply and will make their own minds up about your attitude/actions!!!

Would wholly recommend this excellent apartment in Mevagissey with everything you need. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, and cosy with outside private area. The hosts Julie and Royce are friendly and welcoming and will be happy to do anything to make your stay a pleasant one whilst respecting your privacy of an enjoyable holiday.

A few days in mount Mev.

Immaculate, well presented apartment, fully furnished and equipped with everything a short stay visitor could possibly want or need, (even a bbq in garden although we didn't use this). Off road parking area adjacent apartment (no long trips with cases and bags) Small south facing patio in well kept garden which we found very pleasant for a few drinks in the evening after a hard day out. The friendly welcoming hosts are on hand should any need arise of which we had none, as everything was fully clarified and perfectly explained by email beforehand and in the welcome pack on arrival which also included a welcome gift which we found a very nice touch. Apartment is conveniently located close to town (5 -10 min walk) although at the top of a very steep hill which anyone with any kind of mobility difficulties would find awkward. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to others.

Excellent Apartment

Fantastic apartment, everything we needed. Spotlessly clean. Couldn’t be better. Wonderful friendly hosts, who advised of the best places to visit and also to eat. Our little dog had a wonderful time. We will certainly recommend this apartment and we will definitely go back.
