Comfortable apartment in a great location

Cute place and lovely hostess

Isabel met us at check in and recommended several tips and sights to focus our short stay in Porto. Place was clean and well appointed. Parked in a central parkade and then it was easy walking distance to sights.

Perfect stay

3 of us stayed (51, 20 and 15yr) Perfect location, welcomed by host and gave us many tips. Bakery end of road for breakfast etc. Perfect for what we required. It would be on the small side for 4 adults. Would book again.

Nice and comfy home for a Trip to Porto. We will stay again in Isabels House, when we will come back to Porto. Isabel is a lovly host. Her imformations about sightseeing and restaurants were great. about porto are the best.

Convenient and affordbale apartment for a Porto weekend

Isabel was lovely and very helpful with check-in. She offered a lot of local tips on where to go and restaurant recommendations. If you have a car, parking in nearby garages is affordable (max €20 per day) or free street parking on weekends

Porto in 3 days

Super convenient location, best off to not have a vehicle as parking can be expensive, the apartment was so cute! The only thing missing is hooks for hanging wet coats etc…I would recommend this sweet little flat.

Oporto Baixa apartment

This apartment is as pictured. It was clean and well-equipped for a comfortable stay. Isabel greeted us at the apartment and gave us lots of useful information about Porto, including great recommendations for a nearby pastry shop and a restaurant. She is very friendly, her English is good, and she clearly loves her city. We would stay here again if we were to return to Porto.

Short stay in Porto

We stayed two nights after arriving in Porto before heading off inland. The property was perfect for visiting Porto. Easy to access all areas of interest. Property was clean, tidy and comfortable and had everything that we needed to make our first but hopefully not last visit to Porto. Isabel provided us with all the information we needed regarding places to eat and places we should go. The property was in easy reach of the Metro to get to and from the airport. Definitely worth a visit to Bolhao market where you could happily spend all day .

A very special place

This casa is exactly as shown in the photos, if not better. It is located in a car-free neighbourhood of similar tiny houses. The host, Isabel, gave us excellent directions to walk from the metro to the casa. She met us at the apartment and spent about a half hour showing us the casa and also highlighting places to visit in Porto. The water in the shower was hot and plentiful. It was well equipped - hairdryer, coffee maker, kettle, dishes, pots and pans. The casa well located, a few minute walk to Rua Santa Catarina and the Batalha funicular. We were able to walk everywhere. We were very happy to stay here for four nights and we felt it was one of the best VRBO places we have ever rented. This is a top notch accommodation.

Wonderful host and apt.

Isabel was a lovely host to take the time to share location, get a reservation for a restaurant she suggested as well as dropping us off at bus station for a day trip. The only complaint was her not knowing how to work her air-conditioning which we thought were working when we went out. They were not lucking she had a small portable fan for us the 1st night but it was so hot. She looked into the situation to say the air could not be fixed until later in week. She did bring a stronger fan but air would have been so much better. Otherwise it was a great place, just make sure the air is working. Also there is no laundry in apt. but very close by.

A perfect long weekend location

This apartment was perfect for our long weekend. Its in an old traditional area with narrow cobbled alleys, pedestrian access only and really friendly locals living there. The first impression walk in from the street did look a bit like a building site but once round the corner it's great. You get used to building works quickly in Porto, and the lanes are well lit and really safe at night. Inside the apartment is simple, modern and has everything you need. Pictures are really accurate. Cobbles and open stairs might not be ideal if you are not steady on your feet and Porto is Very steep in places. We were a little late arriving, but Isabel waited for us, and gave us great recommendations and info. She also let us leave our bags in the apartment for our late flight back which was so appreciated. Porto is not a big place, so even though the location looks out of the centre, it really is not. 10-15 min stroll to basically anywhere, its a perfect location. Bakery, cafe, supermarket all 5 mins walk. Thanks Isabel, we will be back.

Great host, great place

Isabel was fantastic. She reached out to us well before our stay to arrange for our stay and to help us plan our stay. She arranged to meet us at the apartment at our convenience to give us the keys. She was very helpful in telling us about the city and giving us recommendations for places to eat. The apartment is small but it was very sufficient for my wife and I. It was also apparently entirely rebuilt recently - it looked new on the inside. The appliances worked well. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans, silverware and everything wee needed to cook and prepare food. The bed and bedding were comfortable. The apartment was a short walk away from a bakery, a number off good restaurants and a small grocery store. It was also a short walk away from the center of the old part of town. The apartment is in a neighborhood where the streets are too narrow for cars, which also made it more quiet. We only stayed in Porto at the apartment for a couple of nights. We wished we would have stayed longer. When we return to Porto we would love to stay at this apartment again.
