It was our first visit to Denman island and our stay was perfect. Great communication with the host, exceedingly clean cottage, well equipped, super comfortable king size bed, quiet with walks around the property, great wood burning fireplace, wonderful location and with a spectacular view. The added personal touch made it home-like. We couldn't of ask for a better stay.

Robin was so easy to communicate with, prompt, and made booking and check in easy. The cottage windows guarantee watching the waves, sunrises and sunsets. For those of us who enjoy a good night sleep, this is the place..quiet and a good bed made for a couple of good nights. A great hidden gem.

We stayed 4 nights and felt very comfortable here. The fenced yard for the dog was wonderful and the stairs leading down to the quiet beach was great. Very peaceful spot! Hope to be back

Absolutely wonderful property, thoughfully furnished, incredibly comfortable and with everything that you might need. Stunning views. And the hosts are very generous, lovely people. Highly recommended.

This was a lovely spot with beautiful views out every window, it was very peaceful and relaxing. Hornby Island was a quick ferry ride away but there was also plenty to enjoy right there.

Robin is a fabulous host, instructions were easy to follow to this charming spot.I really appreciated that she was incredibly quick to return messages and also that this pet friendly spot is fenced in and they do embrace our furbabies. That meant so much.The view was incredible! Waking up to a beautiful sunrise with a vantage view from the most comfy of beds and linens was a dream to be present in.Thank you so much!Dawn

We would definitely rebook our stay with Robin. We would have liked to stay longer but we could only book available days. Quiet, wonderful view, lots of birds to observe, and a great place to relax and enjoy nature. We visited the potters on the island and they were all a joy to visit with and a varied but talented group of ceramists.

This place was better than the description. The views were spectacular and the place was fully stocked. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor eating area with the fireplace and the stand up paddle boards. My daughter had seals swim under her! The place was so nice and peaceful and the host was very helpful. We would highly recommend!

This cottage is a gem set on two acres of tranquil, scenic waterfront with fabulous views.The cottage was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The outside deck for eating and sitting along with a gas fireplace. Along the embankment overlooking the ocean were several well placed comfortable chairs for enjoying the view.We enjoyed our stay so much that we are returning for another week next year. We highly recommend this place.

The property has a beautiful ocean view. The place is comfortable and well equipped. There are various things for use for outside and inside entertainment. There are beach chairs and blankets which was helpful. There is an access to a really interesting beach below. The pullout bed isn’t great and there are skylights that don’t have any window coverings in the living room. The grounds around are natural but in some instances messy. Such as a pile of yard trimmings beside the rooms sitting area. The outside stairs just inside the gate are not safe and in need of repair. Over all we enjoyed our stay.

Thank you so much for your review. We’re really glad you enjoyed the ocean views, beach access, amenities and your stay overall. With five acres of gardens, there is always a little seasonal pruning and tidying underway, so occasionally there may be a small temporary pile of garden trimmings while we’re working. The rustic garden step mentioned had only recently been damaged and has since been repaired, and during the stay there was also a very gentle grassy route immediately beside it for safe access. The main bedroom has a hotel-quality mattress and full blackout blinds. For additional guests, the living room has newer memory-foam sofa beds, though of course comfort can be very personal. The living room skylights are part of the cottage’s bright, airy vaulted design and bring in lots of natural light. We really appreciate the feedback and are happy you were able to enjoy the property and all it has to offer.

This property is stunning! The views from every seating area was magic. The cabin was comfortable and has all the necessities of home. If you have pets or children you would need to be mindful near the bluff edges. Owners were available if needed but we had all the privacy wanted. We will go stay here again!
