From start to finish, my experience with Hedgegate House and its owners was spectacular!! Once I located the house on VRBO - I knew that was the house for my girls trip to Newport. Great location, the right size and felt like home. From the moment we started conversations, the owner was super helpful even with all my questions, he was always super responsive. The house is so warm and inviting. Rooms were perfect. Great kitchen, huge dining room, the wrap around deck is perfect for sunset. Bedrooms were all great as well as the bathrooms. I had a question about the heating and called him and he called me right back and problem was solved (user error of course!). Seriously, we had 6 ladies and it could not have been more wonderful for us. Great for a couple of families too. Thank you, Parente family, for sharing your home with us!!

We had a great stay. The only thing is that this listing states there are four bathrooms. In actuality there are three in the house and then one outside so to say it is a six bedroom, four bathroom house is a bit misleading.

Beautiful property in a great location! We all got our own comfortable bed and there was room for everyone at the dinner table and/or watching TV and relaxing. Our group of friends travel every year someplace new and this was one for the books! From the restaurants, spa, mansion tours to the winery and cliff walk - everything was amazing!!!

Great Newport Getaway

We had an amazing time at the house - great kitchen and huge dining room area which is perfect for a large group. The lawn area is also amazing! House is right on the street which can be a little loud at night, but it's a great spot to get anywhere in Newport!

Great location

Our family of 13 stayed here for my son's wedding. It is in a great location and it was walking distance to the venue. The wrap around porch was SO nice to sit on in the morning enjoying your coffee. The interior was up to date and nicely decorated. The hosts were easy to get in touch with if needed.

Such a PERFECT getaway - everyone was obsessed with the house/property. So much room, GIANT deck and GIANT yard, makes for an amazing summer weekend away. The owner and his family were close by and so friendly and on top of things! We even got to meet some of his extended family which was so sweet.
